Lucien reached into his inner pocket once more, reopening the little metal case as they sit in silence. He lifts his head from when he's doing, meeting Jason's gaze. He cocks a brow at her question, shrugging his shoulders lightly.

"We were invited," he replied simply. "I get bored easily, so it's nice to go somewhere new."

He sets a cigarette between his lips before he nods to his cigarette case.

"Can I tempt you?"

Carmen cocked a brow slightly, thumbing a little liquor from the corner of her mouth, wiping against the side of her lower lip.

"Lonely apartment? Get a cat. Don't you have men in black to keep you company, anyway? I thought you kids had pretty tight security."

"Understandable," Jason said, "I'd get bored too if I was being dragged from press conference to press conference. Or, at least that's what I assume goes on."

Jason shrugged but took the cigarette all the same, thanking him softly as she held it between her fingers as she waited for him to light her up.

Ashton made a face when she suggested he get a cat. All of his life, his parents insisted on having cats in the house, but all the while, none of them ever seemed to like him.

"Cats and I don't get along," he replied with a shrug, "Lucien's is tighter, but they're not much company. Always too worried about something happening in my own apartment to hold a conversation."
