Haunted

Matt groaned. "This is very bad," he said. He went to the front door but it was locked, and wasn't budging any. "We need to find away out, or a way to put these souls at rest," he said, knowing that if a soul is at rest they can't do anything.

Kerrianne looked at Matt. "How though? The innocents Could probably go easily, but they are probably keeping things as mellow as the can," she said, looking at him.

Katherine looked at them, "Maybe the bad one's are buried here somewhere's in this place. We find their bones we torch them their gone." Katherine said to them as she walked over to a window trying to push it open but it wouldn't budge any. She looked out it and saw a car coming up the drive. "Hey there's a car." Katherine said looking back to them.

Damon took and grinned watching their attempts to escape this place. He knew they'd never find a place out. They were stuck, and some bad spirits in here wanted their bodies to escape into the world.

Matt looked out. "It might be an illusion," he said. "What got Damon was a weak one, and I'm sure that he would be able to cause it. I think that what got them was something more than a soul but a demon."

Kerrianne shivered at the mention of demon, but her superstitious grandmother had taught her ways of warding off demons and even putting them down. She just needed to know what exactly she was dealing with. "There has to be a safe room in here, or we need to make one," she said.

Matt looked out. "It might be an illusion," he said. "What got Damon was a weak one, and I'm sure that he would be able to cause it. I think that what got them was something more than a soul but a demon."

Katherine saw the two of them talking and slipped away. She took and peeped through each room and found one she felt safe in. "Guys." She said lightly trying to calm all her emotions. She saw the two coming and walked inside. "The energy in here feels safe." She said to them moving on into the room so they could come in.

Damon grinned as he crossed his arms over his chest. Waving his hand he made the illusion disappear. He let a growl escape as he walked away to try and plot something else to catch them.

Matt dug at the walls. The wallpaper ripped off and behind it was all kinds of writings and symbols. "Can you read the language, Kerry?" he asked, looking over at her.

Katherine looked at her, "What happened, Kerry?" Katherine asked lightly.

"I felt the emotions from the person who put these up here. He did it in a hurry like they were trying to get in as he was doing it, " she replied. "The spells are to keep them out and part of it is unfinished," she explained, looking at where she believed it ended. "This is a spell for something, but the beginning of it could be for anything."

Matt just looked at her, and heard a voice. I shouldn't have left the book in the open for my daughter to get ahold of. I tried to save her. he looked around for that voice, but it was gone as soon as it was there.

Katherine watched Kerry a little as she looked to Matt. She took and looked out the window as she saw a man inside of the room. He was hurrying to do the writing. Her eyes blinked a few times as she took and looked at them. She saw the man put a book underneath the floorboard. Katherine walked over to the floorboard and opened it up, "Guys." She pulled the book out and sat down on the floor handing it to Kerry. "Could this be something useful?" Katherine asked.

Kerry flipped through the pages. "Some of the spells can be call a group of demons if you don't pronounce it correctly, but yes this be useful," she replied. "I have seen some of these spells performed before by my grandmother, but I will need each of your help." She saw a symbol in the book that she had never seen before. "This spell here could have called the demons if you don't know how to pronounce the words."

She showed it to both Matt and Katherine.

Katherine looked at it and stared at it. She read it over slowly and sighed a little. "I've seen the symbol before." Katherine said as she looked between them. "My dad had it tattooed on his arm, and even had it drawn in our basement." Katherine said to them, "I don't know what it means though."

"It's a protection spell from the demons that have to be lurking in these halls. If you start the symbol on the outside it calls them into the home, but started at the inside it will keep them away from you. This spell is very difficult and never truly guaranteed," Kerry explained. She held out her wrist and showed a tattoo of spirals that looked very different. "This is a similar spell, but it can kill them."

Matt sparked up. "You can kill these demons?" he asked.

"Only if they try to attack me first," Kerry explained. "It's really hard to do this one too."

Katherine listened to them talking as she stayed back from them. She took and bit on her lip slightly. She just hoped they could get the demon out of Damon.

Matt looked over at Katherine. "Is there a way to get the demon out of Damon?" he asked.

Kerry nodded. "It will be hard to do it with the stronger demons around. The stronger ones won't like it if you do it. He's still under there somewhere," she replied.

Katherine glanced over to the two of them. "And what if it doesn't work?" Katherine asked lightly. "He'll be like that forever?" Katherine frowned.

Damon grinned as he over heard them trying to figure things out. He shook his head a little standing outside of the door. "Tsk. Tsk. Tsk." He clacked his tongue against his teeth laughing.

Matt turned and glared at Damon or what was in Damon's body. "You don't scare me," he said. Kerrianne didn't say anything because she would give herself away. She was a little more than just a emotional sensor. Her family was filled with witches, and that meant she was one too.

Katherine watched Damon tilt his head to the side, "I don't huh?" He snickered. "I can sense your heartbeat." He taunted Matt. Katherine walked over and stood beside of Matt, "You don't scare any of us." Katherine said narrowing her eyes.

Kerrianne muttered a silent Latin word asking him to leave. She made it as it was his idea. She surprised herself when she said it. She had never heard it spoken, but she knew the meaning.

Matt watched Damon look away from the door way before disappearing. He shut the door and looked back at the two girls.
