I tucked the cross in my pants pocket and looked at him, "I'm not retarded I promise I get a nervous stutter when I'm scared." I said looking at him before glancing down at my lap.

I talked with Jax before looking back at the neighbors house I didn't need to get involved with someone who was just going to leave again. I sighed out and went inside my house.

Nero
"I didn't think you are retarded. Everyone stutters at some point. You should heard me learning to speak English," I said, trying to calm her down. "I would stutter and mess words up. You're fine."

Alyssa
I had a box of garbage bags and empty boxes. My uncle was a bit of a hoarder, and it would take me a long time to get this done. My mind flicked back to Chibs. I really shouldn't get involved with a guy when there was a high chance of me leaving. I had been thinking about moving into this house after I sold everything that I could and try to find a job here. I was running low on money, and it was costing a lot to live so close to Vegas even though that's where my family is.

Nero

I smiled when he mentioned learning english, "I taught myself english, you know I grew up in the mexican house with 7 kids." I laughed a little and smiled at him, "Did I really hurt her? I kind of blacked out for a few minutes I wont let it happen again."

My mind kept going back to Alyssa I sighed and wanted to go see her but I didn't want to be creepy.

Nero
"Don't worry about it, Lily. That's about the only get her to back off," I told her. "Just take a few breathes and if you don't want to start today, I understand." I patted her shoulder gently. I gave her a warm smile.

Alyssa
I walked into the front yard needing some air. The backyard wasn't very big and It was piled with things that wouldn't get ruined in the rain. I took a few deep breathes and made a mental note to have the a/c fixed.

Lily

I smiled at him and turned I wrapped my arms around him hugging him, "Thank you, for being so nice to me." I stepped back, "So, want to walk me through my job now Mr. Padilla?" I smiled at him following him into the small office off the bar I sat at the desk with the computer and followed his instructions I picked up my job fairly quickly. "I got this now Mr. Padilla go worry about your girls. Thank you." I said sweetly and turned my attention to the computer screen.

I stepped outside into the front yard and sat down on my little porch chair I took a cigarette out and lit it, I needed the Nicotine badly. I noticed Alyssa in her yard just breathing. I watched her for a few minutes, "Don't go die in the yard over there Alyssa." I said across the street looking at her with a small smile.

Nero
I smiled at her and looked around the main room of Diosa. There were a few men talking to the girls. It was early and a weekday which meant it would be a bit slow, but the weekend was coming up. Besides, enough clients walk in and out everyday to not make much of difference if it's slow or not. I walked back to my office to get some stuff finished. I turned to look back at Lily before going in there. I smiled at her even though she was transfixed on the screen.

Alyssa
I laughed quietly. "I'll try not to with the broken air conditioner," she replied back. She didn't really want to yell across the street, so she walked over to him. "I'm not sure if it would be cheaper to live in that house with all the repairs I need to do, than in the town I live now," she said, making conversation with Chibs.

Lily

as Lily worked she hummed a song from her child hood it was an old Mexican lullaby. She was soon caught up on everything in the office had all the paper work for the last few weeks oragized and finished she walked into Nero's office and set the finished book for the last two weeks on his desk, "There you go Mr. Padilla," she smiled at him and walked back out of his office and to her desk.

He patted the chair next to him for her, "I'm sure theres not too much, I could take a look at your air for you," He offered as he put his cigarette out so it wouldn't bug her, "at least let me help fick it up if you want to sell it, i'd hate to see you get ripped off over a few small little fixes that could be easily made. "

Nero
I smiled seeing the paperwork organized. It was neatly done, and I doubt that I would have had it done this nicely as quickly as she did. I was glad that I hired her and that she seemed to be perfect for the job. I smiled and started to work on what I needed to get done.

Alyssa
"That would be great. The only thing I could do is paint the walls, and my brother can put the new flooring in," I said, smiling at him. The thought of the possibility of living near this guy was becoming something I wanted for some odd reason. "I have to admit that the people are really nice compared to what I'm used to, but I like it."

Lily

I smiled as I sat with Nero on a couch, "So,..you and I?" I asked looking at him for the past few weeks we'd been doing this Thing and I wanted to know what exactly it was. Was it just sex or was it more? I looked at him nibbling on the inside of my cheeks.

I got out from under the sink, "okay Alyssa, A/C is fixed, kitchen sink is fixed, Toilet in the hall bathroom is fixed anything else Handy man Chibs can do?" I asked smiling at her for the past few weeks every chance I had free time I'd be over here helping her out with whatever she needed done.

Nero
I looked at her and thought about our thing. "Lily, I really don't know what this is, but it's a lot more than just sex," I assured her. "I like you a lot, and I just hope that you feel the same." I stared at her curiously and waited for her response to my words.

Alyssa
"Right now, I have no idea. I finally got the living room cleaned out, so I'm thinking of painting this weekend," I said, checking my mental list. I looked at him. "How about I make us some lunch and we can take a breather?" I smiled at him, so glad that he was helping me out with everything.

Lily

"I do feel the same, I like you a lot and, having sex with you is great and all but, I kind of want more Nero. I don't just want to be a fuck and leave anymore." I said looking at him through my long eyelashes.

I smiled at her, "Lunch sounds very nice Alyssa," I set my stuff down out of the way and looked around, "theres still so much crap this is amazing," I laughed softly and looked at her with a grin.

Nero
"That's simple. Don't leave," I said, smiling at her. "I like you a lot, and I just get surprised by it. I want to be with you." I grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it.

Alyssa
"My brother is coming tomorrow to take those pictures and whatever my mom wants," I said, stepping into the kitchen. "I'm so thankful that you are here to help me." Her decision to stay was becoming more and more likely each time she was around Chibs, and she didn't really know what to think about that.

Lily

I smiled at him when he said not to leave I leaned over and kissed him gently, "It surprises me how much I like you, sometimes I don't realize just how much I like you until I, I think back to all the places we've, had sex." I blushed a little the sex life I had with Nero was a little adventurous.

"Of course, its the right thing to do right?" I smiled at her I watched her walk around the kitchen. She was always on my mind when I wasn't with her I hadn't felt this way in a long, long time. since before I was kicked out of belfast "You know, I really think you'd like charming if you stayed, its not as little as most people think, I mean Medina county isn't small..."

Nero
I saw her blush. I wrapped an arm around her to keep her close to me. "You know you are really cute when you blush," I said. I kissed her gently. "I really like you so much that I'm shocked that it happened."

Alyssa
"I'm actually thinking of staying. Get the stuff out of here that I don't want and drag my things here. I'm barely making enough to live in my hometown, and my mom is either pushing for me to move here or in with her. She wants to keep this house in the family," I replied, smiling over at him. "Besides, I have a wonderful neighbor who I love being around."

Lily

The blush deepened as I kissed him gently. "You are? I am too..." I whispered to him with a small smile on my lips. "I didn't think I'd fall for you." I said gently as I ran my fingers through his hair gently.

Chibs

"You are?" I smiled at her I was trying to hide the excitement I felt. "I love being around you too, Alyssa." I admitted looking around, "I'll help you fix this house up really nice and you'll love that you stayed you wont regret it. I promise."

Nero
I smiled at her. "Lily, I care about you, so please don't doubt that," I said, feeling her fingers in my hair. I liked the feel of her hands on me. There was something about it that made me feel cared about.

Alyssa
I turned to look at him. "I really do want to stay here. I will just have to find a job once I get the house cleaned up. Oh, remind me to get some bug repellent. I have seen a couple spiders roaming around, and I have a fear of those things," I said, adding another thing to the mental list. I finished up lunch and put them on two plates, handing one to Chibs.

Lily

"I know you care about me, I care about you too," I said as I kept playing lightly with his hair I smiled when he relaxed, "How about I make us some food since you don't want me to just leave." I said smiling at him. I kissed his cheek as I got up off the couch and went into the kitchen.

I took the plate smiling, "Thank you very much, Doll." I said softly and sat with her to eat, "You know I don't know if you'd be interested, but the garage I work for is looking for some help in the office, its temporary but it will bring some money in until you can find a more permanent job."

Nero
I got up and followed her to the kitchen to watch her cook. It was nice to see her move around the kitchen. Her hips swayed with each movement. I smiled as I sat down. "Do you need any help?" I asked.

Alyssa
"Well, it will take a while for them to transfer over my licence for Cosmetology, so I could do it," I said. "A job's a job, right?" I smiled glad that he offered that. I wanted to spend more time around him, and I started to care about him.

Lily

"Boy are you kidding? I'm a mexican woman why would I need help in a kitchen?" I joked lightly and smiled at him, "No papi I got it." I said to him and made chille rellenos for breakfast I set the plate down in front of him, "I didn't know if you liked Red or Green so I gave you christmas." I Said to him and pecked his cheek lightly I sat down with my own in front of me and started to eat.

"Cosmeh what?" I asked laughing I shook my head, "Yeah I jobs a job plust you'll get to spend more time with yer favorite neighbor." I joked lightly winking at her I laughed softly, "If you want it just say so I can get it for you." I told her and gave her a cheeky grin.
