Klara watched the exchange between the aliens intently, wanting to learn as much about them as possible. What the one called Roedanya said made sense to her, and if the aliens were willing to let them set up camp, it would make things much easier. There was only twenty of them and an unknown number of aliens; there was no way they'd win if the two races came to blows.
"We're not looking for a fight, I promise."


Alexios

Alexios nodded, "Yes. I take it you aren't? How did you get here?" He glanced at the 'ship', noticing the doorway for the first time. Through the open door he saw movement, but for the moment, no-one else came outside.


Danie Muller

Danie was getting the last of his things together when he heard Camile talking to someone outside. He didn't recognise the man's voice, so he peered out of the doorway, only to confirm that he didn't know the other man. Did that mean there were people inhabiting the planet already? The guy looked human, but that was impossible surely. There hadn't been another mission from Earth, so unless time travel or something equally insane was involved, it must mean he was an alien. If you'd told Danie a year ago that he'd one day be on a far away planet meeting aliens, he would have laughed in your face, but here he was. It was hard to believe, even with it right in front of him.

While Roedanya and River discussed their further actions upon this group of newcomers, Ryker turned back to the woman with the gun, and said," Well, while they are debating your future here, I figure that I might as well get to know you. I assume you are the leader of this group here? And if not who is?" He asked it as a question, but didn't give her time to answer before quickly continuing," Oh! And where you all are from.... Tell us about your home, and maybe why you would have wanted to leave it."

"Yes, I'm the leader but only because they voted me as such." Ripley said as she looked at the man. "We are from a planet called Earth, we don't want to leave Earth, but the planet is dying. So we were sent to find a planet that would be able to sustain human life to save our people." she said hoping he would understand. "I'm Ripley." she said suddenly as she reached her hand out towards him.

Ryker nodded, and reached out to take her hand when she offered it. When he made contact, though, his tribe's custom kicked in and he increased the temperature of his hand briefly as he said," Ah, I understand. Well, I'm not completely sure if the leaders of our tribes would be okay if you stayed, but it seems that you are able to be here- otherwise you'd be dead already. For my own curiosity, though, do you happen to know what is killing your planets?"

Ripley jerked her hand back "Dude your hand is like fire!" she said as she looked over her hand seeing if any damage had been done. "I believe Camile is the one who knows specifically what is going on with our planet. Camile is the plant lady, Xavier is the star guy, Klara is the tech lady, I'm the fighting lady, and Danie where ever he is, he is a doctor." she said pointing to each person as she spoke of them.

Ryker made a very apologetic face as he retracted his hand as well. He looked over the rest of her group, trying to remember names, and then turned back to Ripley. "I apologize for my hand in the greeting. That's customary for us Firians as a sign of respect between people in my tribe. I hope I did not harm you. By the way, that is one thing that I didn't think to ask- what is it that you Earthlings can do that separates you from others?"

(I'm on my break at work so I can't post but I just wanted to say that Danie's actually a doctor. )

Ripley looked back at the others. "Well..um some of us are really smart or pretty or even a really good singer." she said with a slight frown on her face "Basic stuff I guess." Ripley said as she looked over his face. "But I'm guessing that is not what you were asking."

River
River looked between everyone, shaking his head, "I just don't understand why they're here... on this planet. Was there no other they could go to? And if their planet is dying... is there a chance that they will kill ours as well?" He didn't like the thought of that. If there was even the slightest possibility he wanted these earthlings gone.

Camile Alvarez
Camile was about to answer the native when motion from the ship caught her eyes. She gave Danie as small smile as he came into view, nodding to him, then gesturing to the ship as she returned her conversation, "We came in this ship... and it definitely wasn't fun. I'm honestly surprised we didn't go through a crash landing."

Rain
Rain looked over at River. "Would you be willing to have all of those people's deaths on you, if there was a chance we could help them. Even if they were the cause of their planet dying, maybe we could help them and show them how to keep ours alive as we have done." she said as she looked at River. "I don't care what you say River, if you turn these people away I will go with Roedanya and help them." Rain stated before walking over to the Earthlings.


Journey
Journey was trying desperately to concentrate on hunting, but there was so many new scents in the air and he could tell that at least one person from each of the tribes except his own was near the destination of the unknown scents. Sighing Journey could tell that he wasn't too far away from them, so he sprinted to the location. Before slowly walking over to River. "What's going on?" he asked river making him jump which gave him a bit of enjoyment at being able to scare the high and mighty River.


Arsen
Not getting anywhere with her father Arsen ran off to the spot where she felt the powerful fire had been. Spotting Ryker and almost two people from each of the tribes. Arsen ran over beside Ryker glaring at the woman that Ryker seemed to be flaunting over before turning to look back over at Ryker. "Who's she and what is going on?"Arsen demanded m rather than asked.

Ryker shook his head, and said," No, that's not what I'm talking about. Those are just talents. I'm talking ab-" He was abruptly interrupted by Arsen, then, and turned to face her. He then continued," This woman is the leader of this group. They are from the planet Earth, and their planet is dying. They were sent out to look for a new planet that they could possibly live on, and ended up here. Her name is Ripley." Ryker then turned back to Ripley, and said," This is Arsen. She is the daughter of a high leader in our tribe."

"Huh," Was all Alexios had to say to that. These people apparently had the ability to fly, or at least this giant metal 'ship' did. Another person appeared in the doorway, watching him and Camile, but this one looked more like the Terians from the far south instead of Alexios and his friends.
"Is he another of your people?"

Roedanya
Roedanya sighed softly. "I don't think that will be a possibility..." she informed River after Rain stalked off. "Since I'll be sticking around for a while though, I'll keep an eye on things with them." Her tone hardened a fraction. "I won't allow for strangers to come and destroy our home." This said a mere moment before an Arian quite suddenly appeared behind River, and she blinked in surprise. She really disliked that ability of Arians... "There's a group of people from a planet called Earth who have come to live here as their planet is dying." She motioned to the group.

Arsen
Arsen nodded to the woman not bothering to greet her in a Firian fashion. "So this thing is able to produce fire?" Arsen asked as she nodded towards the ship. "How exactly were you able to use this to come to our planet?"


Ripley Tuck
"Well yes, it's our ship." Ripley said as she looked at Ryker before back to Arsen. "It flies." she stated simply. Turning her attention back to Ryker Ripley asked. "So what exactly did you mean then?"

Journey nodded to the woman. "They smell funny." he said as he closer to the group, making his way over to one of the females there.

Ryker raised and eyebrow, and then said," Well, Arsen and I are Firian- we use fire. Other than use are Hydrians who use water, Terrians that use the ground, and Airians that use the air. What is it that your people can use?"

"It depends on what you mean by use." Ripley replied giving him a glance before pulling her gun out of it's holster. "We use fire to make certain things run, we use air and water to make electricity, also we use many things from the ground to help us survive and make things run. My gun here is one of them, it uses certain things from the ground to make the fire that in return makes the gun work." she said hoping that he understood.

"That's not what I mean!" Ryker said, frowning. He then held up his hands, and suddenly made a fire ball appear in each hand. He smiled, again, and then began juggling the fireballs as he chuckled, and said," THIS is what I mean when I say we use those things. Each of us can produce different ones as such. Like I already said, Firian."

Ripley watched as Ryker began to create fire in his hands, she looked over at the others then back to him. "No, um no one on Earth is able to do such a thing." she said with alarm in her voice. Looking at her gun once more, she figured there really was no use of it as she placed it back in it's holster. "Your hair seems to act like fire as well, with it's movement with the wind." Ripley pointed out as she watched the movement of it as if in a trance.

"Well, it kind of is," Ryker explained, laughing as he made the fireballs disperse and disappear," Our bodies are similar to the elements we control. It also is a factor that we can shift our bodies into flame. Hence, how I could make my hand hotter when I greeted you. In our tribe, the hotter you make your hand when you shake someone else's is a display of both power, but also respect towards the other person."
