What if he also could train so that if he latched on he could manipulate a shadow and to admired degree manipulate the person for a short period of time?

Would it be weird if my princpal superman character looked at the students like his sons and daughters? And they kind of returned the feeling due to some of them not knowing what a true family is?

I like the thought of him manipulating people. As for the principal thing.... it would be a bit awkward if he was that close to all the students. He can feel protective and proud and all, but that close? It would really only be a select few.... and same with the students.

I agree with Jaguar's Heart. It would be a little weird if he felt that way about more than a few students.

I was going more that the school almost molds them into a family. But I can see how that would be a little creepy.

Maybe a fair would be better than a dance. But I was meaning like a thing that happens at the event that foreshadows something bad happening.

Hmm... what if there's a statue at the front of the school. It's of their founder and lightening strikes it out of no where... shattering the head clean off?
