So, I'm here trying to sort out a new signature for a theme and I go to save it - and the first few letters save (as you can see), but then none of the rest of it does.
It's all in there, I hit 'save', and I go to see what it looks like on the boards and it's not there. So I go to look at the coding to see if something is wrong with it. And none of it has saved except for what you can see right now.

and as a side note, I don't think it makes a good signature XD

That's really strange Think Do you still have the entire signature to post here so we can take a look and see what might be causing the issue?

No, but it was fairly simple as I was still working on how I wanted it to look when it was finished.
Whenever I tried to save it as a draft, on a blog, or even send it as a PM, none of it would save past the first few letters.

    It went something like:
    [center*][*font=times][*color=#274E55]I'm the devil's son straight out of[/*color][*color=white]__[*/color]h e l l[*/color]
    [*color=white]____[*/color][*gradient=#57EAAA,#274E55]And you’re an angel with a haunted heart[*/gradient][*/font][/*center]

As a side note, I think it's worth mentioning that the PM I sent, the edit button is below the line break, and in the signature area.
Also. Are there any special characters that would cause this issue? I had a few from the mac colour palette making up a few of the words.

I'm wondering if it is a symbol, possibly the 'd' where it cut off or the one after. It might be worth playing around with that, removing a symbol and seeing if it works properly. I'm not a big signature maker, but I have used symbols plenty of times without an issue (aside from the symbol not being compatible and not showing, but the rest of the sig still still shows!).

I was thinking it was possibly the 'd' but, when I took that part out and just posted the rest of it, it didn't work either?

But I'm going to give it another try today.

A month old topic but might be relevant to anyone else looking at this thread for the same issue:
I noticed some symbols (mostly newer ones) will do this. I tried using some music notes (newer) in mine and the same thing happened. I doubt there's really a way around this or a comprehensive list of any sort of what symbols you can use but I know that quite a few of the emoji ones won't seem to work.

My advice is save it to your clipboard or store it elsewhere so that when you test it, you don't lose your whole signature like I did!
