Abby sat by the bonfire, holding the red cup I her hand with a near death-grip. She couldn't believe that her friends had dragged her to this party- they knew she was never a big parties. But, she did agree with them that It might be a good idea since she had just broken up with Frank- he ex-boyfriend who had been dating her for two and a half years, until Abby found out that she had been cheating on her with multiple girls during that time. So, she had let her friends convince her that she should come out, and just relax. And the best way to do that, was with liquid courage, so, she downed the entire contents of her red cup before heading back into the barn to get more...

Jake Summers
Jake was already in the happily giddy stage of his inebriation, having just downed his sixth cup of the evening. He had already been dancing in the barn with four girls who had quickly taken a liking to Jake. On top of that, their underwear and bras all matched- so he clearly had his pic when it can down to who he wanted to take home that night. But, he was trying not to get drawn into it considering he had come here with the gang in support of Abby, and to try to get her to loosen up and have fun- not to score themselves. Still, that didn't mean he couldn't dance with a few girls....

"Listen, I'm not talking about reinventing the wheel, but imagine a place where you could...oh forget it." he told the group of people that was trying go get him to come up with a business plan on the spot. He had failed, miserably. He decided that some fresh air couldn't hurt at all so he went outside with his Angry Orchard in hand. As he stood there he slowly started to think, his head a little fuzzy from all of the alcohol he had consumed. But he was still having fun which was nice in the end.

Lucy Carolina
Lucy Carolina was a blast at parties. After a while she was the one dancing on a table with a lampshade on her head. But she hadn't quite gotten that far yet, instead she was playing circle of death with some random group of people who she would probably never talk to again after this one chance encounter. She was starting to feel really good from all the vodka she had been pouring down her throat. "I have a feeling something is about to change." she said randomly as she walked outside to see Knaves out there, Knaves what a funny name.

Abby Weaver
Abby was inside by the Jungle Juice, pouring herself another glass when an asshole came up behind her and started pushing himself against her, holding her hips to make her grind against him. She wasn't too fond of the dancing, much less the person, considering it was her ex's brother. She started struggling against him, which only made him more adamant...

Jake Summers
Jake was busy grinding with a girl up on a table when he spotted Abby struggling against her 'dance partner'. He frowned, and whispered," Rain check" into the ear of the girl he was grinding with. He then hopped down from the table, and headed across the barn to Abby, and tapped her partner's shoulder. He turned around, and Jake promptly gave him a death glare, before he let Jake take Abby's hand and walk away. Jake began leading her outside, and said," Let's get some air. I saw Knaves and Lucy head out a minute ago." Abby simply smiled a small smile, and whispered a "thank you". Soon, Jake and Abby were approaching Lucy and Knaves, and they both called out," Hey Guys!" As they did so.

Knaves watched as Jake and Abby came up from behind them. Lucy Carolina had been saying something to him while the other two came closer to him. "Hey gang, how we doing?" he asked them as they came closer. Knaves cocked his head as he thought he heard Abby say something. "Jesus Abby I know it was a bad break up but do you think a railroad spike is a little excessive?" he asked her.

Lucy Carolina was feeling really good at this point. She became really happy when Jake and Abby walked up, and it took everything in her body not to launcher herself at Abby. When Knaves randomly said something about a railroad spike she frowned for a minute. "I may be completely wasted right now but I didn't heard bout no railroad spike. Shit, how do I word?"

"I know, words are hard," Jake said, laughing as he poked Lucy in the stomach," And what are you talking about a railroad spike? Abby didn't say anything." Meanwhile, Abby was just standing there, wide-eyed, and swaying slightly from the buzz she was feeling. "I didn't think that I was that drunk," she muttered, rubbing her eyes before looking back at Knaves," I thought I was just thinking that, not actually speaking it out loud." She then burst into laughter, though, finding it hilarious that she couldn't find the line of distinction. Jake quickly joined in on the laughter, and it continued for quite a bit, before they calmed down. "Man, I think someone was smoking pot in there, I'm feeling a little bit high right now," Jake commented abruptly, looking at himself, before looking back up at Knaves and Lucy. "Anyway," Abby continued," How have your nights been, guys?"

(Is it okay to combine them for the sake of being linear? Or is it easier for you if it was by character?)

Lucy's head was spinning around, and it was harder for her to keep on her feet as the alcohol continued to dilute her bloodstream. "Anyone getting hot over here?" she slurred as she swore she was glowing. Knaves gave her a confused look as he heard her say, "Jesus Jake is sexy. I'd hook up with that if I could." Knaves turned towards Lucy. "You people, seriously you need to learn to handle your alcohol. I don't need to hear about how you want to screw Jake Lucy." Knaves told them. Lucy looked at him funny. "I didn't say that, but I was thinking that. How did you know that?" Lucy asked.

Jake blushed deeply, then said," Yeah, she didn't say anything either. Something freaky is going on... Are you okay Knaves?" Abby raised and eyebrow, looking between Lucy and Jake, and then looked at Knaves. The awkward conversation- or rather lack there of- was making her feel uncomfortable. Especially when it was about Lucy and Jake hooking up. It was times like these that she wished she could just disappear.... And with that, well, she started to become more and more translucent....

Lucy was starting to get hot very hot. She wasn't sure if it was the alcohol or the fact that Jake found out she more or less said she would fuck him right then and there. Knaves' head was starting to pound and throb as suddenly it sounded like everyone was shouting into his head. "Stop yelling!" he yelled as he collapsed to the ground and writhed in pain. Lucy watched in horror as all of a sudden her hands turned bright red and lava started to pour from the pores of her skin. "OH SHIT HELP!" she yelled as she fell to the ground.

As soon as the screaming started, Abby snapped back to full form, though, and knelt down to help Lucy- but when she tried to reach out and touch her, she immediately pulled her hand back and screamed from the burn she received on her fingers. Jake freaked out, and dropped to his knees to try and help Knave by covering his ears- despite the fact that there wasn't screaming going on. Well, before Knaves and Lucy started flipping out. Jake looked around to see if anyone was around to help, but they were too far away from the party for anyone to even notice... Jake looked over at Abby, and yelled," Get Lucy down to the quarry! Get her into the water there. Remember we're on the high side- take her down the ramp to the left once you get there. I'll be right behind you with Knaves." Abby nodded, and motioned quickly for Lucy to follow her, before leading the way to the quarry. Jake then yelled to Knaves," Cover your ears!" Before throwing him over his shoulder, and trying to follow the girls.

Once they got closer and closer, though, Knaves' weight began to take a toll on Jake, and he began not raising his feet as high. Once they finally got to the quarry edge, though, he was drained. That's when he stumbled, and caught a tree root with his foot. He dropped Knaves, stumbled, and went over the edge of the quarry...

Knaves covered his ears as she stood to his feet, trying to get away from the hundreds of screaming voices that were pounding in his head. “Oh god make it stop!” he yelled as he tried to dispel them from his head. Trees splintered and cracked as they started to bend from an unknown force. Meanwhile Lucy was screeching as she ran around trying to find something to cool her body with. The river was nearby in the quarry; if she could make it there then this lava would go away right? Lucy sprinted as fast as she could to the quarry, and plunged herself into the river. The cool water washed over her and the lava on her hands turned to rock and floated away. I’m safe now. Lucy thought as she closed her eyes and enjoyed the water.

Jake didn't make a splash after he plummeted over the cliff. His eyes were slammed shut as he expected to hit the water hard- but he never did. When he opened his eyes, he gasped, and almost yelled, as he was literally floating in mid-air. Meanwhile, Abby was having a panic attack, and just wanted to disappear... Which is eventually what happened...

The voices in Knaves' head slowly started to fade away until his head wasn't about to split open because of the thousands of random noises. He looked up to see Abby slowly fade away to nothingness. His head still felt like it had been used like a cheap drum but it was slowly starting to fade away. "Abby?" he called out as he reached a hand towards where she had been.

Lucy cooled in the river, but she could feel the river was starting to get hot. She opened her eyes to see it starting to boil. Her arms were not producing any more magma but somehow the water boiled around her. Feels nice. she thought as she closed her eyes.
