"Yes, you did," Johnny said. "I don't want her."

"Did you finally get that girl you wanted," Angel asked.

"No," Johnny said. "I think she's completely oblivious."

"Maybe you should move on then," Angel suggested. "If she hasn't gotten the hint yet she's not worth your time."

Johnny looked up at her. "I don't want to move on," he said.

"You're going to get blue balls over this girl," Angel mumbled.

"I don't care," Johnny said. "She's worth it."

"She must be really special if you think that."

"She is," Johnny said. "Very special."

"Sounds like you need to just ask her out already."

"I would, but it would ruin the friendship," Johnny said, wondering when she was going to get the hint.

"If you don't take the risk Johnny you'll always wonder what if," Angel replied. They paid for their food, Zacky going to the front to pay their bill and left Johnny alone with Angel to help her safely get to the car.

Johnny stood up and took Angel's hand, helping her up and leading her out to the car. "You think I should ask her out?" he questioned.

Angel nodded. "Carpe diem Johnny boy."

Johnny nodded his head. "Angel, will you go out with me?" he asked.

Angel stood still, turning in the direction of Johnny's voice as her face showedher confusion. "I'm the girl?"

"Yeah," Johnny said. "I hope it's not awkward. I mean, it is awkward, you're Zack's cousin and I'm his best friend and maybe I'm stupid for thinking it could work or that you would say yes."

"Johnny," Angel mumbled. "Shut up and kiss me."

Johnny smiled and he leaned forward, pressing his lips to hers.

Angel carefully wrapped her arms around Johnny's neck as she returned his kiss.
