Chloe looked at Charlotte and sighed, "I think so." She whispered as she straightened up. "Are you ok?" She asked Charlotte.

Brian finished up and looked at Matt sighing. "Are you ready to go?" He asked.

Charlotte sat down when she was done. "I think so too. Its just hard seeing him and then feeling the guilt of keeping Alexis away from her father"

Matt nodded. "Yeah. lets go" he said softly. "Should we stop and get the kids a gift?"

Brian nodded, "Sounds like a good idea." Brian said softly.

Chloe nodded her head, "I know what you mean." She said softly.

Charlotte bit her lip. "The kids are going to be so confused" she said softly. She then heard Alexis call for her. She walked upstairs and got Alexis, bringing her back downstairs.

Matt walked outside. "There is a toy store on the way to their house" he said before getting into the car. He didn't know what to get his son but he was going to atleast try to getting something that River would like.

Chloe sighed hearing River as she got him and snuggled him close. "Yeah they are." She said and looked at Charlotte. "Char maybe we made the mistake of not telling Matt and Brian." Chloe frowned. She knew that the guys had chosen wrongly, and Matt going and fucking Val. But she was beginning regretting not telling him about his son.

Brian nodded his head, "I hope I get something that my daughter likes." Brian told him pulling out as he pulled up at the toy store going inside. He got a few things for Alexis as he went to pay for them and to wait on Matt.

Charlotte nodded as she held her daughter who was holding a toothless plushie, playing with it. "I know" she said softly. "We have a chance to make it right".

Matt got out as well and walked inside of the toy store. He grabbed a few things for his son. He paid before them before meeting Brian by the door "ready?" He asked before walking out

Chloe nodded her head looking at River. She played with the rings around her neck and bit on her lip. "Yes. We do." She said softly and ruffled River's aubrn hair as she bit her lip.

Brian nodded and got in the car and headed for Charlotte and Chloe's place. Brian took and pulled in as he grabbed the bag and got out. He headed up to the door and knocked on it lightly.

Charlotte heard the knock and looked at Chole before getting up. Alexis reached for her mother. Charlotte picked her up and went to answer the door. "Hey" she said as she saw Brian, smiling softly. Alexis looked at her mommy and then at man, wondering who he was. She had Brian's brown eyes and black hair.

Matt got out of the car once they reached the house. He was nervous about talking to Chole and meeting his son for the first time. He followed Brian to the door.

Charlotte let them both inside of the house

Brian took and stood with Charlotte as he looked at her with a light smile best that he could. He took a breath and sighed a little.

Chloe picked River up and looked at Matt. "Come on." She said softly as she led him upstairs and up to her bedroom so they could talk with on another.

Charlotte lead Brian into the living room. She then sat down with Alexis, feeling nervous. She was still trying to figure out how to tell Alexis. She then looked at Brian. "I'm sorry about not telling you about Alexis" she said softly

Matt followed her upstairs to her room, slightly nervous about what was going to happen. He wanted to be in his son's life.

Brian took and sat down with Charlotte and sighed a little. He nodded his head a little, "Yeah I get it." Brian said softly. "I just wish you'd called or something. I mean, she's, you know. I want to be a part of her life." Brian told her frowning as he handed the toys he'd bought for Alexis.

Chloe put River in the floor as he played with the fire truck he had in his hand. Chloe took and frowned a little staring at Matt. "Sorry I didn't call or tell you about him." She whispered lightly.

Charlottte looked at him. "I know. I messed up as a mother. I shouldn't have kept her away from her father. I want you to be apart of her life Brian".
" she said softly as she grabbed the bag and opened it, giving Alexis the toys. She smiled seeing Alexis light up and get excited. "What do you say, Alexis?" she asked looking at her daughter. Alexis looked at the man. "Thank you" she said hugging him.

Matt watched River before looking at Chole. "Its alright I understand. I was a complete jerk and a horrible husband" he said before handing the bag to Chole. "I got presents for our son.I hope he will like them"

Brian felt a tug on his heart when his daughter hugged him. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her tightly. "You are so welcome baby." He told her and smiled.

Chloe frowned at his words of being a horrible husband. She took and looked down a little, "I am sure he will." She said softly watching River.

Charlotte smiled at Alexis and Brian. She was trying to figure out how to tell Alexis that Brian was her father. Alexis was comfortable being around him which was a good start. Alexis sat next to Brian, playing with her new toys

Matt watched Chole. "I want to be part of his life" he said softly. He felt guilty about before. He couldn't even be upset that Chole kept River away. He played with his wedding band that he never took off.

Brian smiled down at Alexis watching her play with the toys. He thought it was cute how she was playing with them. He smiled towards Charlotte and then looked back at his daughter. He had to admit she was him made over that was for sure.

Chloe looked over at Matt from River and bit her lip. "Ok." She said softly. She took and played with the necklace a little watching their son. "Matt, I am sorry I didn't call or tell you. At the time I thought it was for the best. But, I guess I was wrong." Chloe frowned.

Charlotte smiled at Brian and then looked at Alexis. "Sweetie, can you stop for a minute?" she asked gently. Alexis stopped and looked up at her mother. "what is it mama" she asked cutely. Charlotte smiled at their daughter. "This your daddy" she said softly. Alexis looked a little surprised but happy.

Matt looked over at River, watching him play. He then looked back at Chole. "Its alright Chole. I understand" he said. "I'm not upset. I'm glad I get to be in his life now." He wanted to be back with Chole too but he knew that needed work.

Brian smiled at Alexis. He watched her look surprised but at the same time rather happy. Brian smiled and picked her up, "Hi Alexis." He smiled down at her as he held her close to him blinking back his tears.

Chloe took and let a soft sigh escape her lips. She looked at River, "River, sweetie stop a minute please." She said sweetly to her son. She watched River stop as she smiled, "River this is your daddy." Chloe pointed to Matt and smiled at her son. She watched his face light up as he took off running to Matt.

Charlotte smiled as she watched their daughter with Brian, tears we formed in her eyes as she felt the guilt hit her. Alexis giggled and smiled at Brian. "Hi daddy" she said hugging him tightly

Matt smiled when he saw their son light up. He picked River up when River ran to him, holding him close. "Hi River" he said smiling as he held his son for the first time. He blinked back his tears.

Brian gripped to her and kissed the side of her head. "Hi baby." Brian said and smiled hugging tightly to her.

Chloe watched Matt and River and smiled lightly. "Hi daddy." River giggled out. Chloe got up and left the room. The guilt was too much for her to take right now. She walked into the den as she lent against the wall of the dark room and sighed tears streaming down her face.

Charlotte watched them, tears falling. "Ill be right back" she said softly. She walked upstairs and grabbed Alexis's baby book but she stayed in her bedroom as tears fell. She felt the guilt wash over her. Alexis giggled again as she hugged her daddy

Matt smiled as he held his son, kissing his head. He watched Chole walk out. He wasn't sure what to do. He held on to his son. "Do you want to play with your new toys?" He asked River
