Christofer let out a soft sigh as he took his flip flops off and sat down in front of the lake. He loved coming here because it was so peaceful. He looked up as he saw a girl coming into view.

Kylie sighed as she arrived at the animal shelter. She didn't want to spend her summer here but she had no choice. She pulled her long black hair up into a messy bun as she walked in. She saw a boy with a beanie on and walked over. "Uh excuse me?"

Ella had packed her bag to go hang out with some friends by the lake but as soon as she got there Ella noticed no one showed up. "Great stood up again" she mumbled as she walked around trying to find a spot to sit. She placed her towel down and dipped her foot in the water.

Hayden had told his band mates he was going to spend his day at the animal shelter. He walked over to check in when a girl spoke up, "yeah..?"

"Is this where we check in? For volunteering.." Kylie asked.

Ella looked over at a man who had been watching her. She nodded "Yeah. . Thanks" she looked him over. Piercings and tattoos she automatically thought musician. "Just debating if I want to take a dip or not.."

Hayden looked at the girl and smilef "yeah, is this your first time? " he asked.

"Well be my guest. I'm Chris." He gave her a smile.

Hayden shook his head "no, I come maybe twice a month when I'm not touring"

Ella looked at Chris and nodded "okay.." And walked over sitting down "tell me about yourself "

Hayden nodded "yes, never shout never" he explained to her.

"Well I sing for the band never shout never. I'm a vegetarian and I love animals." Chris said and chuckled lightly, "I sound like a nerd, right?"

Ella took a seat on the grass and chuckled "no, you sound like a hippie" she teased. "I'm teasing, you sound pretty cool are you like the singer?"

Hayden chuckled "we're not a list famous I'd say c but whatever maybe you should. "

"I would say we're indie rock but I'm not sure most people would agree." Chris chuckled.

Ella nodded listening to Chris "would you play something for me? I mean if thats okay with you"

Hayden chuckled "I suppose unless they're allergic. So what brings you here? Just felt like volunteering?"

Chris smiled, "I don't have a problem. Let me get my ukelele." he said and got up. He went back to his car and grabbed the instrument and sat back down. He decided to play bigcitydreams since it was one of their most popular songs. He began strumming and then started singing.

Kylie giggled a little. "Uh yeah, we'll go with that. Actually, no, I got in trouble for missing curfew so this is my punishment, according to my mom."

Ella placed her blanket on the grass and lied on her side looking at Chris as ge walked off and returned quickly. As he began to sing Ella smiled she liked the sound of his voice. The music was good too she liked it a lot. After he finished Ella sat up and clapped "I like that a lot"

.Hayden chuckled and raised an eyebrow "ah so you're a delinquent huh?" He teased. "Just kidding. Okay well let me show you the ropes. "

Hayden handed Kylie the sign in sheet and began to look over the list of projects that had to be done.
