My Six Word Love Story

"You don't have to thank me," Zacky smiled with a shrug of his shoulder. "Just think of it as a bonus for winning the contest."

Ally flinched when she felt something hit the top of her head and she swore if a bird had just shit on her head, she would murder someone. She looked up and frowned when she saw it was starting to sprinkle outside.

"So who out of you guys were in charge of picking the contest winner," Artemis asked.

Brian passed out on his bed, hallucinating in his sleep from how much heroin he had taken.

"It was me and Matt," Zacky said. "Matt was busy so I had to go through all of the submissions myself, but I just knew you were the winner."

Ally sighed and she stood up, walking back to her car and going home. When she got home, she walked inside and texted Michelle. He hates me now. Thanks.

Artemis couldn't help but blush. "So how is life for Matt now that he's a dad?"

Did you do as I said or did you try to talk to him about what I said?

Zacky shrugged. "It's actually pretty cool, you know?" he chuckled. "To have a little mini Matt running around. He's a great dad."

Ally frowned. I did as you said. And then I tried to talk to him. And he completely shut me out.

"I'm sure if he's a mini Matt he's adorable," Artemis smiled.

I told you not to say anything at all. That's why he shut down. He wasn't ready.

Zacky nodded his head. He smiled at her and pulled his phone out, showing her a picture of the two of them that he'd taken.

I was. I'm tired of waiting around for him. I've been waiting for years. So I stepped up and he pushed me away. I can move on now.

Artemis couldn't help squealing at how cute Matt's son was. "He's so adorable."

So because you're impatient Brian is going to lose the love of his life.

Zacky chuckled. "He is," he said. He knew he was treading on thin ice here showing her things like this, but he trusted her already, which was rare for him. He knew she wasn't a crazy fan. "He's a handful. I'm not even his father and I can tell you that."

If he loved me like you said he did, he wouldn't push me away like that.

"My nephew is fourteen months old and ever since he learned to walk he's been a little hellion," Artemis said. She pulled out her phone and showed Zacky a picture of her nephew and her playing on his backyard swing set.

He doesnt know how to express himself emotionally Ally. Why else do you think I told you to just hold him and not say anything?

Zacky smiled. "He's cute," he said. "I honestly have never thought about kids before."

Ally shook her head. I can't just not do anything about it. I told you I'm done waiting for him. You have no idea how much I love him, but I can't wait any longer.

"I didnt either until my brother and his fiance had Gage."

Fine but if he goes back to drugs now its on you.

Zacky shrugged. "I guess I'm not really the type to have kids, you know?" he mumbled. "I just want to enjoy life and live it to the fullest."

Drugs? What are you talking about?

"I think having Gage around is good enough for me," Artemis admitted. "Besides I have the worst taste in people dating so getting pregnant would just be baby daddy drama."

You don't know?

Zacky snorted. "You might be able to go on TV for that, though," he joked.

No. What drugs? Is Brian doing drugs?

Artemis made a face of disgust. "Thats the wrong kind of tv show for me personally."

He used to flip flop between heroin and coke.

Zacky chuckled. "I don't watch them," he said. "Jimmy used to. He found that shit so hilarious."

Jesus. What do I do?

"I honestly never saw the appeal of shows like that," Artemis mumbled.

You can't do anything now if he already started using.

"I guess it could be amusing to see people act like idiots," Zacky shrugged, smiling at her. "What kind of stuff do you enjoy?"

I have to help him, Michelle. Please. Help me.

"I like music especially when I can sit down and dissect it so I can hear each instrument on its own."

My obky suggestion is go back to his place and hope he hasn't already used again.
