Kiss Me Under the Light of a Thousand Stars

[ haha thanks! it was insane, had 14 people at my house how was your christmas?? ]

Ella started singing along to Steal My Girl, all the while grinning at Harry. She even danced a little bit in her seat, well more like wriggled but still. "Maybe they want to impress you, might want you to go down and sing along." She teased, a little smirk on her features. Hearing Steal My Girl made it finally sink it that she was talking to and was kind of flirting with Harry Styles. Instead of getting nervous, it made her tummy flutter in excitement.

Niall could only grin even more while he was singing to Mariana when she agreed to go on a date with him. He leaned in a gave her a quick kiss on the cheek because why not. He shrugged his shoulders at what she said next and shook his head. "I don't think I could ever get sick of it, to be honest," he said, placing a hand on the small of Mariana's back and leading her over to the balcony at the edge of the VIP area, that looked out at the rest of the club below them.

[That sounds insane! It was pretty good. We usually keep it small at my house since most of the people in our family are assholes. So, it was just me, my parents, my brother, my grandma, and step-grandfather.]

Mariana smiled when he kissed her cheek. She wasn't really expecting it, so a light blush spread across her cheeks. She wasn't one of those girls who blushed and got embarrassed and shy all the time, but it did happen on occasion. She nodded. "There are a lot of people who aren't like that." She said as he led her over to the balcony. "Do you ever miss being down there?" She asked curiously as she glanced down to the rest of the club. She wondered if he ever missed just being down there without having to worry about the fans or anything like that.

Harry let out another laugh, shaking his head slightly when she starting singing along and even did a little dance in her seat. It was an amusing, yet adorable, sight to see. "You think so, huh?" He asked, punctuating his words with a slight chuckle and raised eyebrow. "Or maybe they've heard your brilliant cover of Fireproof and want to see if you can do our other songs justice." He grinned slightly.

[ that still sounds nice! at least it wasn't too loud or anything. i thought i was going to kill some of my younger cousins haha! ]

Ella scrunched up her nose and shook her head when Harry said about them wanting to hear her cover of Fireproof. "They don't wanna see me," she said with a little pout, only able to hold it for a moment or so before she grinned again. "They're not interested because I don't have curls like yours," she giggled, reaching a hand up twirling a finger around a lock of Harry's curly hair.

"Sometimes," Niall said in reply, with a little nod of his head. "We've sneaked into a few clubs before and people haven't spotted us, but that's usually in other countries." He told her, leaving his hand on the small of her back. He grinned and waved to a group of girls who were looking up at the VIP area. He knew there'd be a few pictures in the morning, but at least they had most of their privacy still.

[Yeah, the holidays are usually pretty chill in my house, haha. Ooh, thankfully I don't have any younger cousins!]

Mariana nodded. "Which do you prefer?" She asked, her gaze shifting from the rest of the club and over to him. "Being down there or up here?" She'd noticed the group of girls who had spotted him, though it didn't really matter to her. She knew that there would be at least a couple of pictures in the morning, but that was kind of to be expected when one was hanging around with an international popstar. She thought so anyway.

"How d'you know?" Harry asked, tilting his head slightly as he looked down at her. He couldn't help smiling when he saw that adorable little pout form on her lips. This girl really was too cute for words sometimes. "Oh, is that so? They're only interested in me because of my curls then? Is that it?" He laughed. "What about you? Are you interested in me?"

[ lucky! i've never known a chilled christmas hahaha ]

Ella nodded confidently, still playing with the ends of Harry's hair. "It isn't because of your singing or anything, it's all because of the hair." She murmured, moving her hand and letting it rest on the back of Harry's neck as she looked at him with a grin. "Me? I might be interested." She said with a shrug and a coy little smile on her lips. She couldn't deny how good looking Harry was, and he was probably one of the nicest people she'd ever met. He wasn't arrogant about his fame. She couldn't help but be a little interested in him.

Niall looked over at the DJ when he heard him announcing something about the '1D boys being in the building' and he waved to him with a grin, laughing a little when he heard a bunch of screams. "I think I prefer being down there," he admitted, looking at Mariana with a sheepish smile on his lips. "I just miss being able to dance and drink with people without worrying about having a picture of me being drunk and stupid on the internet." He said, leaning in a little closer to her so she could hear him over the music.

[Haha, really? Mine have always sort of just been like that.]

Mariana let out a quiet laugh when the DJ said something about Harry and Niall being in the club. Her gaze shifted back over to Niall, nodding in response to his words. "That's understandable." She said. She'd be pretty surprised if he didn't miss how things were before One Direction. It probably made things a little bit more difficult now. He had to be a lot more careful about what he did now. "But it's worth it in the long run, isn't it?"

Harry let out an exaggerated sigh, shaking his head as if in disbelief. "I should've known. They're all only interested in me because of my hair. I don't know how I didn't see it until now." He said, looking her over, only just realizing how close they had gotten. She was even prettier up close. "You might be interested? Just might? You aren't certain?" He murmured, his gaze falling to her lips.

Ella giggled quietly at Harry's words, but soon quietened down when she realised that they were so close to each other. "Your dimples, as well, they're a crowd pleaser." She said with a light smile, unable to stop herself from gazing at his lips for a few moments, before looking back up into his eyes. She licked over her lips, before giving a little shrug of her shoulders. "I might need to be convinced," she murmured, trying to ignore the butterflies fluttering around in her stomach.

"Definitely, I mean, I have just as much fun up here when I have the right company." Niall grinned, nudging Mariana's side playfully. "And sometimes I can spend time downstairs before people realise." He said with a shrug. He couldn't really complain though, because not many people can say that they're welcomed in the VIP area of a club pretty much all over the world. And Niall did like to spend a lot of his times in clubs.

"And I'm assuming you're in the right company right now?" Mariana teased, raising an eyebrow. She nodded in response to his later words. "That's true. You don't always have to be up here. You get to experience both every once and a while." Maybe it was the best of both worlds. Sure, she was sure that there were at least a few down sides, but there were some pros to it all as well.

"Yeah, everyone loves the dimples..." Harry murmured, though his mind was focused on something other than what people liked about him right about now. He was more so thinking about what he liked about the girl seated right in front of him, and one of those things was certainly her lips that had never looked more inviting than they did right now. "I suppose I'll have to convince you then." He smirked, before he leaned in slightly, pausing just before her lips to make sure that what he was doing was alright.

Ella barely nodded her head in reply to Harry, finding it hard to focus on his words when he was just so close to her and all she wanted to do was kiss him. Her breath hitched slightly when he leaned in even more and her eyes fell shut as she leaned in the rest of the way, unable to resist any longer. She pressed her lips lightly against his, smiling a little because fuck, she'd been wanting to do that for a while. She really hoped she wasn't getting the wrong signals from him and that he actually did want to kiss her, otherwise it would be pretty awkward.

"The best company, actually," Niall said with a wink, a smirk on his lips. He looked back down to dance floor below, watching everyone dancing and the odd person looking up at him and Mariana. "Maybe next time we can sneak down there for a little while before anyone notices." He grinned, nodding his head along to the music. He sidestepped closer to Mariana, so he could slip his arms around her waist instead of just resting his hand on her back. He was certain that the pictures being taken of them would create rumors, but he just hoped that the fans wouldn't be too invasive.

Mariana couldn't help the wide smile that formed on her lips. "The best, huh?" She asked, letting out a quiet laugh. She was glad that Niall seemed to be enjoying her company just as much as she was enjoying his. "Who says there's going to be a next time? You haven't even taken me out on that date yet." She teased, laughing once more. She smiled when she felt his arms go around her waist, not minding the closeness at all. She knew that there would be pictures and probably rumors in the morning, but she really could care less.

Harry paused just before her lips, waiting to see what she would do. Even in his slightly drunken stupor, he didn't want to proceed unless he was certain that she wanted to as well. He was a gentleman, and he didn't want to do anything that would make Ella uncomfortable. Not only that, it would just be extremely awkward if he'd confused the signals that he'd been so sure that he was receiving. He received his answer rather quickly when her lips were pressed against his. He smiled, moving a bit closer to her as he kissed her back, a hand reaching up to cup her cheek gently.

Ella couldn't help but smile when Harry kissed her back, relieved she hadn't got the signals wrong. She kept a hand on the back of his neck and when he shifted closer, she gripped onto the front of his shirt with her other hand. She pulled back after a few moments, trying not to smile too hard, but it was really difficult. She looked at him for a few moments before she leaned in and pecked his lower lip gently. "U-um, sorry," she mumbled, cheeks heating up turning a rosy pink colour, a sheepish smile on her lips.

Niall laughed at how cheeky Mariana was, and he poked her side lightly. "Well how about we go on that date now?" He suggested, turning and resting his hip against the balcony, so he was facing Mariana. He probably only suggested it because he was kind of drunk, but he thought it was a good idea. "We could grab some food, but probably not from a posh restaurant, sorry." He chuckled. "Then hang out at my hotel or your place or something?" He shrugged, hoping that he wasn't being too forward. He just wanted the chance to talk to Mariana without having to yell over the music.

"Now?" Mariana repeated slowly, punctuating her words with a raised eyebrow. "You want to go out on that date now?" She was just making sure that she'd heard him correctly. She didn't really need to give his suggestion much thought though. "Lucky for you, I don't need to be wined and dined." She teased, grinning slightly. If she was sober, she might have been a bit more hesitant about agreeing to this but, right now, that didn't matter to her. "My place isn't too far from here, and I know there's a great Chinese place just down the street from it that should still be open."

Harry was honestly pretty relieved that he hadn't interpreted the signals incorrectly. That would have been rather awkward to say the least. But he didn't have to worry about that now, Ella was kissing him, and he was kissing her, and that was all that really mattered. When she pulled away, he couldn't help the wide grin that tugged at the corners of his lips. He chuckled slightly when she leaned in and kissed him again for a few seconds. "What are you apologizing for?"

Ella bit down on her lower lip, moving her hand that was resting on the back of Harry's neck to his chest, fingers playing with the buttons on his shirt. "I'm going to want to kiss you all the time now," she explained with a laugh, trying really hard to get the blush off her cheeks. She was thankful that the club was dark and he wouldn't be able to see how red she was.

Niall was genuinely surprised when Mariana agreed. He thought that he'd pushed his luck and she'd tell him to back off or something. "You're brilliant," Niall grinned, leaning in and kissing Mariana on the cheek again, not caring that there were definitely people watching them from the dance floor below. "'M gonna tell Harry that we're heading out, yeah?" He said to her before he turned and headed back to the booth, raising an eyebrow when he saw him and Ella all caught up looking at each other.

"Hey, mate," Niall called to Harry. "We're gonna head off and get some food, okay?" He told him, and then looked at Ella too, sending her a little smile.

Mariana didn't expect him to kiss her cheek, though she couldn't help the small smile that graced her lips afterwards. She was sure that someone had gotten a picture of that very moment, but she really didn't care. She kind of expected it really, what with his celebrity status and all. She'd be extremely surprised if there weren't any pictures the next morning. She nodded. "Alright." She said quietly, the smile still on her face.

Harry let out a soft chuckle in response to her words. "You say that liken it's a bad thing." He said, grinning slightly. Just as he was about to lean in and kiss her again, Niall walked over. He looked to his friend, trying his best not to be at least slightly annoyed because of the bad timing. He nodded. "Alright, Ella and I might stick around here for a bit longer." He didn't know how long Ella would want to stay here, or if she wanted to take things elsewhere. He was up for whatever though.
