Harry woke up with the sun, rising early to take a quick shower before making his way to the kitchens. He had been cooking for the royal family there for a few years now, and had already established himself as one of the best and favorite cooks of the family. Harry tied his hair back into a small bun as he unfurled his wings, making sure they were slightly tucked back so they wouldn't get in the way, and made his way to the kitchen. There were a few prepping for breakfast already there, yawning into their elbows and shifting around on dragging feet. He greeted them and slipped on his apron before gathering everything he needed and beginning to make an enormous assortment of food, starting with pancakes.

Clarissa was woken up by her personal maid, who opened the blinds, and she shifted underneath the coverlet, stretching her body. "Good morning, Sadie," She mumbled into the pillow before sitting up and running her hands through her hair. "I think a hot bath sounds good this morning, can you run me one, please darling? I also think maybe some lavender would be in order, I wanna smell lovely," Clarissa said with a nod, sending a sweet smile Sadie's way before letting herself fall back against the pillows. Her body was sore in a few areas from last night, when she had snuck outside to the gardens again with Zayn. She had fallen the last few feet down the tree that extended to her bedroom window, and while he had rushed to catch her, she had still managed to cause herself a bit of damage, but nothing she couldn't handle.

Sadie stepped lightly into her lady's room and opened up the curtains and blinds when she got to the window. "Good morning, m'lady, did you sleep well?" she asked, turning her head to look at Clarissa. She was such a beautiful faerie and so kind. Sadie was lucky to be her personal maid. "Of course, m'lady," she said, upon receiving a request for a hot bath this morning. She made her way to the bathroom and started the bath, making sure it was the right temperature and adding in the lavender she had asked for. When it was filled, Sadie returned to Clarissa and gently pulled back the blankets. "The bath's drawn, time to get out of bed, the water's going to grow cold if you wait too long." Sometimes it could be quite difficult to get her out of bed. Sadie was hoping that it wouldn't be like that this morning. "Oh, your wings have come a bit unravelled at the ends, would you like me to fix them after your bath?" Sadie was quite proud of her weaving skills, as they had grown quite intricate over the years of doing not only her own wings but the lady's as well on occasion.

Zayn woke to his butler coming in and having him up for a shower. "Oliver, would you have a bouquet of flowers send to Lady Clarissa's room today? I'm thinking lilies," he asked, after his shower and wrapping a towel around his waist. He smiled fondly as he remembered last night. It had gone so well, even thought she had taken quite a tumble from her tree. Hopefully, she wasn't feeling too sore today, seeing as he hadn't made it there in time to quite catch her completely. Of course, Zayn would have gone and picked the flowers out himself, but he didn't think he would quite have the time to do so today. He was sure his parents would have him doing all sorts of things.

Harry let his mind wander as he went through the motions of preparing breakfast, thinking of Lady Clarissa's servant girl that often came into the kitchen to eat or converse with some of the other girls there. They had met glances several times, and he couldn't help himself thinking about her frequently. She was the most beautiful fae he had seen in his life, and he felt himself drawn to her. He could tell that she was kind and sweet, and he had heard other fae in the kitchen talk about how wonderful she was. Harry knew that she snuck him the occasional glance, being as observant as he was, and knew that there was some interest there, but he just wasn't sure how to approach her. He wondered what her favorite foods were because he longed to make her things that might make her eyes light up when she bites into them, that was his favorite part, of cooking. He enjoyed making delicious things that made people happy and seeing their reactions of their faces. Harry wished that he might one day be able to do that for the servant girl.

Clarissa hummed an approval to Sadie's question, not wanting to mutter much else. She laid in her bed lazily as she waited for Sadie to prepare her bath, as she had always been really horrible at getting out of bed in the first place unless she was excited about something, that usually being breakfast. However, when Sadie said her bath would be ready, she was eager to get into hot water and soothe her aching joints. After laying there a second longer, she heaved herself out of bed, sliding off and landing gingerly on her feet. "Thank you so much, lovely girl," Clarissa replied, making her way towards the bathroom, and once there, stepping out of her night gown. Sadie had seen her bare before, and she didn't much mind because she was never shy about such things. "It would be absolutely wonderful if you could. I always love it when you spruce up my wings a bit. You've got quite a gentle and artistic touch," She complimented her, slipping into her bath and becoming enveloped of the scent of lavender steam raising off the surface of the bath. She felt a calm spread through her, and she settled down until the water came up to her chin, her body becoming completely relaxed when there was a knock at her door. "A gift for Lady Clarissa, delivered from Sir Zayn," A voice called out, muffled through the door, and she looked over her shoulder as a grin spread across her lips. "Sadie, my dear, can you please go fetch whatever he's sent me?" Clarissa asked sweetly.

"Of course, m'lady," Sadie hummed, turning away from the bath and heading out to see what had been delivered with a silly smile on her face. There were no secrets that could be hidden between Sadie and Clarissa. She knew that Sir Zayn fancied her quite a bit - and she him. "Thank you, Oliver," she smiled, taking the beautiful lilies out of his hands. After a quick goodbye, she brought them back to Clarissa. "They're beautiful, Lady Clarissa. Would you like me to find a vase just a beautiful for them?" Sadie was positive about seeing a gorgeous one somewhere around the kitchens. Her mind wandering to the kitchens made her think of one of the bakers: a pretty boy with prettier dimples and long curly hair. The thought of him made her cheeks flush slightly. His eyes were so vibrant, bright and bold and she could feel them on her sometimes when she was down there. Just like she was sure he could feel her's sometimes as well.

Zayn ran some product through his hair, styling it how he liked it to be and straightened out his shirt. He was sure that Clarissa would love the flowers he had sent to her. She loved every little thing he sent her way, no matter how small or even the content of it. There was something about making her happy and smiling that he just adored. He so hoped that one day they could be paired together. He would love to be able to marry her. But that really wasn't in their hands. It was all in their parents; they had to think that the two would make lovely little fae and be great rulers.

Harry finished making breakfast early, setting off all of the plates wih other servants who took them to the dining room. He filled up a plate for himself and set down his plate at one end of a long wooden table set up for all of the staff to eat their meals at if they wanted to. He made himself a hot cup of tea after placing down his plate, and he sat down finally, cradling the cup between his hands for warmth. Harry enjoyed the small moments where he got to rest and enjoy his food, and he sipped his tea as he observed everyone else in the room either scurrying about or leisurely enjoying their breakfasts.

Clarissa smiled wider when she saw that Zayn had sent her lilies, and she put her hands together in a soft clap, filled with joy at the sight of them. "Oh Sadie, that's a wonderful idea. You know, I'm sure there might be a few cases in the kitchen.. If you can check there without being interrupted by wandering eyes from a handsome baker," Clarissa said with a giggle, knowing that Sadie had some interest in the boy and they'd shared a few fleeting glances. They always shared everything with each other, ever since they met years ago and she continued to request having her as her own personal servant just because she loved her so much. "I can go ahead and get ready while you're gone, I wouldn't be bothered if you happened to linger by any chance," Clarissa said with a raised eyebrow, giving a sweet smile before turning back around and sinking back down into her bath.

Sadie's cheeks grew an even darker pink at Clarissa's mention of the baker-boy. He was so handsome. "Right, my lady. I'll try to be quick so I may weave your wings, but I make no promises if I happen to be stopped by the baker," she murmured out, head ducking. She took the lilies with her so that she could pick out a vase that complimented her, taking quick steps to the kitchens. It was hard not to run to see if he was there. It was even harder to pause herself long enough to murmur greetings to any nobleman or lady whom she passed. She slipped into the back way of the kitchens, not wanting to pass through the dining room in case there were anyone eating there and set the lilies down on an empty part of the counter. There were fae bustling around here and there, but she couldn't quite make out the baker boy she quite fancied. She opened up a cabinet where she knew some vases were and examined what she saw. None compared to the beauty of the lilies except one at the top. Instead of asking for someone's aid, as they all seemed quite busy, Sadie easily climbed her way up onto the counter to be able to reach the vases.

Zayn doubled checked himself in the mirror to make sure he looked appropriate before heading out into the grand halls of the castle they lived in. They used to look so much larger when he was younger, but as he grew up, it seemed that he fit into the halls better. They weren't a big and frightening looking and he could walk through them without worry about being caught somewhere he wasn't supposed to be. He could be anywhere now. Unfortunately, on his way down to get breakfast (and hoping that he would be able to see Clarissa there), he was stopped by his father who only wanted to talk about the most dreary and boring things. It was something he couldn't get out of.

Harry looked up from his plate just as Sadie made her way into the kitchens, and he chewed his breakfast thoughtfully as she caught his attention. She was holding a lovely bouquet of lilies, and he watched as she searched the cabinets looking for a proper vase. However, when she started climbing up in order to get the one on the highest shelf, he somewhat clumsily removed himself from the bench at the table and made his way over. She looked quite close to toppling over with one wrong move, and with everyone bustling around, he didn't want her to get jumbled up by someone brushing past her carelessly. "Excuse me, miss, would you like me to grab that vase for you? You look a little precariously balanced, and I wouldn't want you to fall," Harry said up to her, going for a tone that was soothing as he didn't want to scare her, and he put a hand up, hovering right behind the curve of the small of her back just in case.

Clarissa finished up her bath quickly, as the water started to descend in temperature quickly after a couple of minutes of leisurely soaking. She washed her body and hair with heavily floral scented soap, before removing herself from her bath and drying off, applying a spearmint smelling lotion that she was in love with. She exited the bathroom wrapped up in a towel, slipping into her lacy undergarments before choosing a casual and comfortable dress that she usually just wore around the castle. It was a cream colored long dress that had short sleeves and fit closely to her curves, and had intricate woven details and chiffon fabric draped over the inside that was made out of cotton. Clarissa slipped on a pair of flat shoes and after running her hands through her hair in order to attempt to tame it mildly, she stepped out of her room and made her way down towards the dining room for breakfast. On her way there, she saw Zayn and his father engaging in conversation, and by the expression on Zayn's face, it wasn't anything of interest. She made her way over, catching the attention of his father and stopping to give them a graceful bow. "My King, and my Prince, I bid you good morning. It's very lovely to catch up with you so soon," She said in a light, innocent voice, giving Zayn's father a bright smile that he returned to her. Clarissa had always been very good at seducing every person she met in different ways, shaping like a chameleon and changing how she was in order to suit the people she would engage with. Zayn was the only person she was ever truly herself around that made her feel completely comfortable. "I'm on my way to breakfast, is it okay if I steal Sir Zayn, I'm absolutely starving and I'm sure he's as eager to attend breakfast as I am," Clarissa added, giving a hopeful little smile and nodding her head once towards Zayn.

Sadie jumped a little when she heard his voice. They never really talked much, if any, but she's heard him talk to other bakers every now and then. "Oh, gods, thank you, sir. I would rather not drop it and not have a vase to make Lady Clarissa's beautiful lilies," she answered gratefully. Carefully, Sadie turned around pausing only when her eyes met the intensity of his. "I should, uh, probably get down," she let out a little laugh, hoping it covered up how nervous she felt around him. She slowly started to get down, trying to be careful not to fall and make a fool of herself. Oh gods. She would be the laugh of the castle if that would happen! Sadie was sure that Clarissa would tease her endlessly about it! "Thank you, again."

Zayn's face lit up when he heard Clarissa's voice, hoping his father didn't really notice. Or maybe he would think he was really interested in the things he was saying. He and his father greeted Clarissa with smiles and 'good morning to you too's' before his father nodded his head to her request. "Yes, yes, you may take my son. I do expect to see him later though," his father said with a smile. Zayn couldn't help a grin and held his arm out to Clarissa to take. It was only polite to do so and his father wouldn't see anything other than that from it. "I trust you slept well, Lady?" he asked still in ear shot of his father, and then out of it he said, "Thank you, Clarissa. I was dying of boredom!"

He hovered behind her when she jumped at the sound of his voice, but when she managed to keep herself balance, he moved away an inch or two. Harry grinned when she gave out a little laugh, indicating that maybe she felt a bit awkward, and when she tried to make her way off the counter without falling, he gave a soft sigh. "Here, let me, love," He murmured, moving his hand to her back and the other towards her legs, lifting her off easily and holding her for a moment before depositing her back onto the ground gently. "You're very welcome, I wouldn't want you falling off the counter just to get a vase for Lady Clarissa. Let me get it for you," He said, and after reaching up on his tiptoes, managed to get the vase off of the top shelf and bring it down to the counter, placing it there so she could fill it up with water for the flowers. Harry turned back towards her then, meeting her gaze and giving a smile, offering a hand. "M'Harry, the baker," He said to her, his heart beating a little faster in his chest at the fact that he was finally meeting this beautiful girl face to face.

She giggled a little when his father said that he needed to see Zayn later, and she nodded her head obediently, taking Zayn's arm when he offered it to her a moment later. "I'm sure you will, my King. It was very lovely to see you," She said, as parting words when Zayn began to guide her away from his father since their arms were linked. At his innocent question in range with his father, she nodded and affirmed that she had a good sleep, playing along, though she laughed when he told her what he really wanted to say. "You're welcome. I could tell by the look on your face, darling, it was priceless! I just had to rescue you, I knew you'd have a lot more fun with me," Clarissa said to him, her voice a low murmur, even though they were the only ones in the hallway. "Thank you for the lilies by the way, I absolutely adored them," She added, looking over at him and giving a pretty little smile accompanied by her adoring gaze into his eyes.

Sadie let out a little noise of surprise when the cute baker boy easily picked her up and set her down on solid ground. When she was down, he went ahead and grabbed the vase she was trying to get and set it on the counter. She placed her hand in his when he offered his hand and introduced himself. Harry. It seemed to fit the boy, or really what all she knew about him from sneaking glances here and there. "Sadie, Lady Clarissa's personal handmaiden," she replied, smiling bright and hoping she didn't look too much like a fool. He was so handsome, and gods, strong. He had to be. Sadie could see the muscles on his arms and they were huge! "Um, thank you, again." She wasn't sure how many times she had thanked him, but it must be creating quite a tally by now.

Zayn smiled and shook his head. It seemed like he was the damsel in distress and she was the heroic knight. "Lilies? I never sent you lilies. I think someone has a secret admirer," he said, trying to be coy, even throwing in a wink for the hell of it. "Is that handmaiden of yours getting them a lovely vase to sit in?" he asked her, heading down the hall. He led her into the dining room, where they would have breakfast and pulled out her chair for her.

He grinned at her when she thanked him again, dropping his hand from hers. "You're very welcome, Sadie. Would you like to come and have some breakfast with me? Lady Clarissa is probably eating, so if you wanted to join me, I'm sure you have some time," Harry offered, gesturing over to the end of the table where his breakfast was waiting, and where some other fae were milling about and eating.

Clarissa giggled when he tried to be coy, and she hummed a bit. "Mm, I have such a soft spot for lilies, I wonder how he knows. He must be so perfect for me to know how much I love lilies," She rambled on, and she nodded at his other question. "Yes, she ran off straight away. My, I love her," She said with a smile, beaming even brighter when they entered the dining hall and she saw all of the food. Clarissa thanked Zayn quietly as he pulled out her chair, and she settled down after he pushed her closer to the table once she sat, smoothing out her dress. She looked over at him, slipping a hand under the table to squeeze his knee.

Sadie glanced over to the table before looking back at Harry. "I would love to have breakfast with you," she answered with a little smile, "Oh!, let me just fill the vase with water and get the lilies in it," she said, turning from him to grab the vase and go to the sink to fill it with water. She then put the vase in a safe place and placed the lilies inside, making sure they looked nice. Sadie would take it up to Lady Clarissa's room after breakfast, but for now, she would spend some time with Harry. She was sure that Lady Clarissa wouldn't mind her being gone while she was eating. Even if she was supposed to reweave her wings for her. That could wait as well.

"I think he's just that good," Zayn send her a cheeky grin before a nod of his head, glad her handmaiden was doing just that. Not long after he sat, there was a hand on his knee and he had to readjust how he was sitting for a moment. His hand slipped under the table and was placed gently on hers. The servants served their plates. The kitchen staff did well this morning, everything smelled delicious.

Harry waited for Sadie to finish putting the flowers in the base and tucking them away before leading her over to the table where all of the food was laid out for them. He patiently waited for her to make her own plate, snatching a pastry for himself and chewing quietly while he waited. He then lead her over to where his food was, waiting for her to sit down before he did.harry took a few bites before he spoke. "So how long have you been working for Lady Clarissa?" He asked, curious as he finished up his eggs.

Clarissa ate her breakfast delicately with one hand, occasionally squeezing Zayn's hand where they were linked underneath the table. "I've been having a deep desire to see this secret admirer privately," She said quietly, only loud enough for Zayn to hear over the loud chatter of all of the other royals talking and eating. She snuck a glance over at him and smirked, her hand sliding slightly upwards towards the inside of his thigh.
