Roy rolled his eyes as he watched Thea saunter off, shaking his head a bit. She really got on his nerves. His eyes widened when Rebecca asked if Thea was his girlfriend, making a small face of disgust as he shook his head. "Oh, no. She's my ex," he said with a heavy sigh. Roy motioned for her to follow him, figuring she could keep him company while he finished stocking in the back. "You can keep me company while I finish," he grinned, grabbing a few boxes and taking them over to a shelf, quickly beginning to load them on the racks. He began to think of stuff to talk about, really hating how he was suck a horrible conversation starter. "Tell me about yourself," he said as he glanced over at her. He figured he might as well ask her the question first before she got the chance to ask him. Roy had way to many dirty little secrets that he didn't know how to hide. Tell her about himself was almost impossible, so he rather hear about her.
Charlotte couldn't help but smirk as she listened to what he said, walking over and sitting in the chair that was in the corner of his room. Luckily the material of the dress was stretchy so when she sat down, it didn't hurt her stab wound. She nodded to what he said about going to see Diggle, curious as to what he might've found also. Charlotte wanted to find those guys just as much as Oliver did, if not more. She was so incredibly pissed that they stabbed her like that. She wanted to know why they did it; what they were after. They had to of been after something. "I just want to know what those bastards were after. They had to of been after something. No one cuts the power off and stabs someone to get away for nothing," she said with a shake of her head. Charlotte ran her fingers through her hair, trying to thing of anything they had that might be extremely important to someone. Well, everything in there could be some use to someone in some way. The problem was trying to figure out who knew where they were.

Despite the clear horror on his face, Rebecca was more than relieved to learn of their nonexistent relationship. She sensed that it was not the smoothest breakup either. "Oh, okay," She simply mumbled while following shortly behind him. It made her steps a little lighter as she walked. Her eyes started to wander around the room, looking at the various boxes of liquor. "You guys really have every liquor known to mankind in here," Rebecca commented and watched as he pulled another box off of the rack. Pausing for a moment to think, she wondered where to start. "Um, well, I recently moved into town since I couldn't stand living with my parents for a moment longer. I came from a suburb, so city life has been quite a change. Since I'm still new, I've been out job hunting all but no luck," She vaguely summarized and wished that was enough. "What about you? Any mysterious secrets that I need to know?" Rebecca asked with an intrigued smile.

    --

Oliver moved to face the mirror, seeing Charlotte take a seat in the corner of his view. Fixing his collar slightly, his eyes slid over in her direction,"When we do catch those bastards, all of your questions and all of my questions will be answered, but we will find them eventually." Turning away from the mirror, he walked across the room toward her. "Let's go find them," He stated while offering his arm for her to take. Driving over to Diggle's, Oliver hoped that they would receive some sort of information on their mystery person. Why was the person inside of their hideout? How did the person even discover its location? There were too many unanswered questions. When they arrived, Oliver stepped out of the car before sauntering up the stairs into the apartment complex. Diggle had spent the night searching through the debris that their intruder left behind, feeling half-asleep. Unable to greet them, he stepped aside to let them inside of the apartment.

Roy listened intently to what she was saying as he stocked the shelves, nodding his head as he listened to her. He wondered if maybe she wanted to get a job here at the club to start herself out. Surely he could find her something to do, just to start her out until she found something better. Roy's eyes widened when she asked about him, biting down hard on his bottom lip as he let out a nervous chuckle. "Oh, I'm not very interesting," he said with a shake of his head. "No secrets here. Nope, none at all," he said with a huge grin, glancing over at her before going back to stocking. "I live in the glades and I work here for Oliver, who I'm sure you'll eventually meet if we keep hanging out," he said, tearing a box apart once it was empty and throwing it in a pile in the corner of the room with a few other torn up boxes that needed to be taken out. "Other then that, nothing else to tell about me," he said standing in front of her with his arms crossed over his chest.
Charlotte followed Oliver into Diggles apartment, raising a brow at Diggle's half-awake state. "Tired?" she teased, earning a not so pleased looked from him. She shrugged, plopping down on the couch and searching through the things he had laid out on the coffee table. There was a pretty good amount of evidence here to go through, which only made Charlotte even more curious as to what DIggle may have found during his search. Charlotte wished that she had been able to be there with him, helping him find everything. She just wanted to find out who those ass holes were and what they wanted. What they did was completely unacceptable and they weren't going to get away with it. She'd put an arrow through one of them if she had to. Charlotte's eyes widened slightly at the thought and she leaned back in her seat, sighing softly. She needed to calm down, this wasn't her. She wasn't a violent person.

For a moment, Rebecca wondered if she had asked the wrong thing, seeing the way that he paused. It was a simple question though. "Oh, I'm sure you're very interesting and just don't realize it," She countered, urging him to continue on. Carefully listened, she drank in all of the information. Hearing all of the rumors about the Glades, she was practically terrified to enter that part of town. Even her father had warned her about that part of Starling. "Well, then, it looks like I'll be meeting Oliver sometime in the near future. Think he'll give me a job?" She questioned, scrunching her nose slightly. Wrapping her arms around herself, Rebecca gave him a doubting look, knowing that there had to be more to him. Maybe he just was not willing to share more right now, so she would not push it. "If you say so.." She trailed off, looking up into those blue eyes. For a moment, Rebecca settled into the silence and enjoyed the unspoken words.

    --

All Diggle could manage was a gruff groan as they filtered into the house as they closed the door behind them. Oliver's eyes scanned over the evidence laid out on the table, taking his time to survey all of the information. "Nice job, Diggle," He praised his partner, taking a seat. Picking a fiber of hair, he wondered if they had found a DNA match to it yet. It was a short piece of black hair that was pretty much generic. "Anything come back on this yet, Diggle?" Oliver asked, glancing over at him. He placed the fiber back down before sliding his eyes over toward some shattered glass. It seemed that the intruder had knocked over a couple of empty vials in the process. That could be easily replaced. Hearing the soft sigh, Oliver shot his attention over to Charlotte with immediate concern. "Char, you alright?" He asked, reaching out to place his hand on top of hers, squeezing it gently.

Roy grinned when she asked if Oliver might give her a job, nodding. "I'm sure we can find you something to do around here," he said with a nod, biting down on his bottom lip at the look that she gave him. He knew that she was doubting him a bit and more then likely knew something was up, but what could he say? He was a horrible liar at times and just so bad at keeping secrets, but hopefully one day, if they became good enough friends, he'd share his secret with her. "Well, it looks like I'm all done up here. I guess I can be kind of off for the night," he said with a small chuckle. "I don't have anything else to do work related." Roy smiled at Rebecca. "Wanna go dance or something?" he said with a shrug, not entirely sure what else to do right now. He didn't really want to share anything else about himself, or make up anymore lame excuses, even though he did want to know plenty more about her. But he knew that finding more about her meant that she was going to want to know more about him.
Charlotte jumped slightly when she felt a hand on top of hers, her gaze shifting over to Oliver's. She sent him a small smile, nodding. "Yeah, I'm fine," she said softly, her face heating up a million shades. Charlotte cleared her throat some, shifting in her seat and pulling down her dress that decided that it had wanted to ride up. She shook her head and rolled her eyes, seriously not being able to wait until she got home to change out of this dress. She probably should have picked something else to wear, like a pair of Thea's yoga pants and a shirt. But oh no, she had to go fancy and wear a dress all because she was going out in public with Oliver. Damn Oliver.

Rebecca smiled right back at the prospect of being co-workers in the near future. It would give them more time to spend together, and, maybe, he would open up more to her. "Awesome, I look forward to it," She thanked, anticipating the idea. The smile of her lips only seemed to grow as Roy informed her that he was free the rest of the night. Last night, he was completely swamped by the crowd, but, together, he was all hers. "That's a great idea," Rebecca said while reaching out to grab his hand, whisking him out onto the dance floor. Out on the dance floor, the DJ was on point for the night and played all of favorite tunes. Her feet were practically screaming at her to stop dancing, but Rebecca could not find it within herself to do it.

    --

Oliver gave a small nod in return before removing his hand from hers, after making sure that she was truly fine. After all, she was probably just drinking in the information. By the end of his observations, all Oliver knew was that they were dealing with a professional. Someone who knew how to cover his or her tracks well enough to just slip out of their grasp. That would not stop him from continuing his investigation though. "Okay, Diggle, you get back to me when you find out about that hair that was found. Other than that, there is nothing of use here," He sighed, feeling a bit of frustration. "Char, I believe that our hideout may have been hacked at some point. All of our security cameras have been wiped from the time when the intruder came in," Diggle questioned, finally able to speak.

Roy was having an amazing time dancing with Rebecca. She was an amazing dancer, he could honestly just watch her dance all night and get lost in the music. After a while of dancing though, Roy definitely needed a drink. He excused himself from Rebecca, going to the bar and ordering them both a drink. He knew that by the time she finally dragged herself off the dance floor she was definitely going to need it. Roy's mind eventually wandered to Oliver and the gang as he sipped his drink, beginning to wonder where they were and how the investigation on the break in was going. Roy should really be there, helping them, but he had a social life too. He needed to go out and have a little fun once in a while and enjoy the club with people, which is what the rest of them needed to do sometimes also. They just needed to take a break.
Charlotte frowned a little when Diggle said that their hideout may have been hacked, shaking her head. They had the best of the best there was for a security system, who could possibly hack them. Unless this was a very well thought out and planned attack from the inside. Someone that they trusted who knew Charlottes every secret to technology. "I don't know how they could have hacked us unless it was done from the inside... Or, I mean, it was someone I knew, or know," she said with a heavy sigh, shaking her head and rubbing her temples. Her side was beginning to hurt like hell, but she was determined to find out who did this before she even thought about resting or taking anything for the pain. She needed to toughen up and be a woman, someone worthy of being on The Arrow's team. Right now she was just screwing everything up.

Rebecca would admit that Roy could keep up with her on the dance floor, which was not easy to do. Just hearing a decent beat was enough to keep her dancing all night. A few moments after Roy left she joined him off to the side, thanking him for the drink. "Not bad, not bad," She complimented with a small grin, taking a sip of the drink. "How long have you lived in Starling?" Rebecca asked out of curiosity. It was odd for her to stay in one place too long, and she was unsure of how long her stay in Starling would be either. Everything depended on whether or not she could find a decent wage to support her living. "Do you want to get out of here? It's kind of getting a little stuffy," She offered, wanting to take a walk around town. The club was already filled to the brim with people, and they were only becoming more packed.
Oliver was in slight awe when Diggle mentioned their little security breach. It was practically impossible to hack into their system with Charlotte's coding abilities. "Who?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest. They needed to track down this person and investigate further, especially if they stole information from them. If it was the person that Charlotte believed, it would explain how the person had been able to cover his or her tracks so precisely and cleanly. "We just need a name," He calmly stated, attempting to encourage Charlotte. Diggle nodded in agreement with Oliver since this would be their only lead back to the person. "As far as I can tell, they didn't steal any information, but they may have implanted some sort of surveillance device into the system," Diggle explained with a small sigh. Both men partially blamed themselves for not being there for Charlotte in her time of need.

Roy grinned and nodded, downing the rest of his drink and letting her finish hers before taking her hand and leading her out of the club. He didn't think Oliver was going to be needing him anytime soon tonight. "So, how about I show you around a bit?" he suggested, biting down on his bottom lip. He wasn't to worried about walking around the glades at night, he could definitely take care of the situation himself, and protect Rebecca. It was also a lot easier to show her around on foot than it would be in a car. You could see everything better. Roy shoved his hands in his pockets as he began walking down the street with her, breathing in the fresh, crisp night air. He loved it at night. You could hide in the dark and no one could see you; no one would know who you were. It was just great.
Charlotte nodded, taking in a deep breath and letting it out slowly. "Alright, well, what are we waiting for? Let's get back so I can get to work," she said as she stood up, wincing slightly at the sharp pain shooting up her side. "First I would like to stop by my apartment to change into some sweats," she said with a nod, taking a quick look over everything Diggle had laid out before she walked out the door. She didn't want to waste any time, she wanted to get cracking on her computers to find out who did this. It couldn't have just been anyone. Charlotte had a few suspicions of who it might be, but she really needed to double check a thousand times over before she even thought about making a move on that.

Rebecca downed the rest of her drink, tipping her head back slightly. Placing the glass down onto the counter top, she smiled as her fingers curled around his own and moved through the crowds back out onto the streets. "Alright, I like that idea," She nodded, trusting him. It was probably a bad idea to wander around with a boy she only met the other day, but Rebecca had a strange feeling that Roy was different from the rest. She followed beside him down the street, letting her eyes wander about their surroundings. Despite what most said, it was beautiful town that was bustling with people. Sure, there were its sketchy parts, but, overall, it was not what she had envisioned from the rumors. "Take me to your favorite spot," She requested, stopping in her tracks.
Oliver reached out to place a hand onto Charlotte's shoulder and gave a reassuring squeeze, seeing her wince from the pain. It was admirable just how strong she was since most would have fled to the hospital from a stab wound let alone push through it. "I'll meet you over there. There's a few things that I have to wrap up here," Diggle stated, putting all of the evidence back into the envelope. Oliver gave a small nod before following out after her and taking the car to the Charlotte's apartment as per her request. "Do you want me to wait here or?" He asked, not wanting to impose on her. After all, Charlotte may have wanted some sort of alone time to change.

Roy grinned when she asked to be taken to his favorite spot, biting down hard on his bottom lip. "Alright, come on," he said, leading her to the clock tower where he liked to go up and think. You got a pretty good view of things from up there and he was sure she'd love it. Roy lead her up the steps, pushing back hanging plastic as he walked around. "This is my favorite spot in the whole city. You get the best view from up here, no one ever comes up here, so it's the best place to also just come and think," he said, grinning over at her. Roy has spent a lot of time up here thinking. Whenever he went missing, he was most likely up here. It was the only time he could ever get some peace and quiet from the world, from all the Arrow stuff. It was like the city was so calm and peaceful from up here and you didn't have to worry about a thing.
Charlotte bit down on her bottom lip, looking up at her apartment. "You can come up with me," she said, not really wanting to be alone right now. Not with everything going on, and the fact that just got stabbed. Charlotte eased her way out of the car, going up to her apartment and getting her keys out of her purse. She unlocked the door, cautiously making her way inside and breathing a sigh of relief when she saw that everything was intact and no one was here. She made her way to her room, quickly taking off Thea's dress and putting it in the hamper to be washed before she returned it, grabbing a pair of sweatpants and a loose tee shirt. She looked down at her side, frowning when she saw that she was bleeding through the bandage. She put her sweatpants on and her shirt, grabbing the first aid kit and going out to the living room. "Can you help me?" she asked Oliver, frowning slightly.

Rebecca followed behind Roy once more and ascended the stairs up a clock tower. "Wow," She breathed out, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear and taking in the scene. The city was breathtaking as it showcased the various streets of the glades accompanied by the stars. "I think I can see my apartment from here," She joked, squinting her eyes slightly. All joking aside, she could see for miles upon miles, and it was quaint space to top it all off. "It's spectacular up here. I can see why it's your favorite spot," She agreed, wrapping her arms around herself. It was a bit breezier than down on the street, and her feet were beginning to ache. Even though it was a tad more walking than expected, every step had been worth it. Rebecca kicked off her heels and settled them off to the side with a satisfying sigh. "Sorry, those heels were not made for walking that far," She admitted with a small shake of the head.
Oliver nodded and put the car into park to trail her up to the apartment. Entering inside, Oliver waited off in the living room while Charlotte wandered off toward her bedroom to change. His eyes slid over the various photos that ranged from Charlotte's childhood days to recent events, making a small smile form on his lips. Reaching out, he was particularly drawn to one photo of Charlotte smiling until her voice startled him. "Yeah," Oliver stated, making his way over toward her. Gingerly peeling up her shirt, he slightly frowned at the damaged that remained from the attack. It was a constant reminder that he should have been more careful. Oliver checked over the stitches before wiping it down with the disinfectant, letting his fingers graze over her skin. "How are you holding up?" He questioned, placing the bandage against her side and beginning to tape it down.

Roy grinned, really happy that she was enjoying the view. This was his favorite spot in the entire city and he was glad that she enjoyed it also. He frowned when she took her heels off, saying that her feet hurt. The walk here was a bit longer then he had expected, he probably should have taken the car or something. He wasn't sure if she was going to be able to make the walk back or not. "I'm glad you're enjoying the view," he said, standing next to her as he shoved his hands in his pockets. "I'm sorry your feet hurt. Are you going to be able to make the walk back?" he asked, genuinely concerned. He would totally hate for her to get blisters on her feet because he decided to be an idiot and not take the car. Roy just figured a nice walk around town would be nice, he just didn't take into consideration that she had heels on. He'd totally wear them for her while she wore his shoes if he could, but her feet were so much more tiny than his, and he had no idea how to walk in heels.
Charlotte squeezed her eyes shut, not being able to help the goosebumps that rose on her skin from his touch. She sucked in a breath as the disinfectant got into her wound, whimpering a little. "Fine, I guess," she answered, sighing softly. "I just really need to stop moving around so much. It'll be okay though once I sit down at my desk and start working on finding out who hacked into the security system," she said with a nod, pulling her shirt down once he was finished bandaging her up. She cleared her throat some, cleaning up the mess and putting away the first aid kit. "Alright, we can go whenever you're ready," she said with a small smile. She was going to find out whoever did this, and once she did, they were going to be sorry. Charlotte also wanted to have Oliver teach her how to defend herself after she was healed up. She wasn't going to be put in this situation again, nope. She wouldn't let it happen.

"This is really a wonderful city," she thought aloud, still taking in the view. Rebecca grinned over in his direction since his concern for her feet was sweet. She was one of the few that could push through the pain though. "I'll be fine," she reassured him since she had been through worse. "If anything, you can give me a piggyback ride back," she teased, leaning forward to peer out of the clock tower, glancing down at the streets below. The breeze against her cheeks was calming, and she took in a deep breath. "What do you think about when you come up here?" She questioned out of curiosity. In this moment, Rebecca was thinking about how grateful she was that she met someone like Roy. He was practically her first friend in the city of Starling and was already showing her its wonders.
Oliver could not help his lingering concern despite Charlotte's words. "If you ever need anything," he trailed off, hoping that she would come to him. Oliver always kept medicine in stock, considering his night time profession. "Okay, let's head out then and get this person," he agreed, helping her clean up the remnants of her bandages. Heading back down to the car, Oliver opened the door for Charlotte before heading over toward the driver's side. The traffic was heavy at night in Starling City, and tonight was not an exception. "This is ridiculous," Oliver sighed, stopping behind the umpteenth red light. Back on the island, traffic was definitely not something he needed to worry about.
