Theo smiled and rested in his chin on her shoulder, knowing immediately what was going on. "What Dean doesn't want to attend this super fancy dinner?" he asked, not at all surprised. Fancy dinners weren't really is friends thing, of course if Willa was his girlfriend he would make it about to go to everything she asked him to, if it meant getting to spend more time with her. "Of course I'd go with you Will, what kind of question is that? We'd have a great time making fun of all those stuffy rich people. Seriously, endless entertainment." He turned his attention back to the movie that was on, some action movie he hadn't really been paying attention to, but he hated to appear too eager to Willa.

Dean was on his way home from work, after a long day he was excited to spend the night with the love of his life and his best friend. That was what was so great about their living arrangement, he got to be surrounded by his two favorite people at all times. He was glad there were no hurt feelings after he ended up with Willa in college, he was so grateful everyday that they could all still be friends, and that their relationship dynamic had barely changed. He felt like the luckiest guy on earth.

Riley had been in her room taking a nap, she worked nights for a company that transfers parts all over the world, and needed to get lots of sleep during the day. She walked out of the room wearing short sleeping shorts and a black tank top, running a hand through her hair and yawning. She smiled when she noticed the boys sitting on the couch playing their video game together. She had been worried the two of them wouldn't get along well, but it appeared to be working out better then she could have ever expected. "Hey you two," she said with a cheeky grin, walking over to her best friend and kissing him on the head, before taking a seat on the arm of the couch, and running a hand absentmindedly through his dirty blonde hair. "How were your days? What are you boys playing? Talk to me," she said with chuckle.

Theo nodded as she spoke, understanding where she was coming from. It kind of annoyed him that Dean couldn't even try to see her side to things, but that was Dean, stubborn as always. And very much against formal attire. In high school he refused to go to the prom because there was a dress code, so why should have expected things to change by now? "That makes sense. It's okay though, me and you will have a great time," he said with a reassuring smile, nudging her softly on the shoulder. Besides, he was sure he would be mistaken for her boyfriend several times, and that was enough to get him motivated to go.

Dean pulled into the driveway and let out a deep sigh, ready to get into his pj's and be in for the night. Luckily he had the weekend to relax before going into work again on Monday. He got out of the car and couldn't get into the house fast enough. "Honey's I'm home!" he announced as he threw the door open and walked into the living room to see his girlfriend and best friend on the couch. "How are my two favorite people in the world?" he asked, walking over and giving Willa a long kiss before taking a seat between them and patting Theo on the back. He wrapped his arm around Willa. "So what's the plan for tonight? Did you all want to stay in or go out?" he asked, he would rather relax for the night but wanted to leave the option open for the two of them.

She chuckled as the two played each other, loving that they were bonding over something, but finding it hysterical that they were so into their game they had hardly acknowledged her presence. "A beer would be nice," Riley yelled after Landon, stealing his now empty seat and leaning her head against Dean's shoulder. She rolled her eyes as he told her how he had spent her day. "That does sound so productive, I'm glad to know you're utilizing your time well," she said, sarcastically but all in good humor. "I still have until one before I have to start work, what were you thinking of doing tonight?" she asked, leaning down and taking his hand, giving it a soft squeeze. She wanted to at least do something fun before she worked her final day of the week. "And tomorrow we need to celebrate the weekend, I'm thinking we should check out that new club downtown. How's that sound Landon?" she called into the other room.
