Lincoln 'Linc' Anderson | Kathleen "Kitty" Kane

    She moves through moonbeams slowly
She knows just how to hold me
and when her edges soften, her body is my coffin.
I know she drains me slowly
She wears me down to bones in bed...
must be the sign on my head, it says,
    "Oh love me dead!"

Lincoln stood on top of the stairs when he heard the door open. He frowned when he heard some woman talking about how amazing the house was and how the other girl should buy it. Lincoln's eyes narrowed as the two came into view. There was no way they would sell this house to that girl. She didn't even look like she was old enough to own a house. He sat on the stairs, frowning as they walked pass him.
The lady shivered, "Little drafting in here sometimes." She asid to Kathleen as they walked upstairs. "The former owner clearing started working on the house, but no one knows what happened to them." She explained.
Lincoln stood up and followed them, "I'm right here." He said, rolling his eyes. He crossed his arms, staring at the girl that was looking at the house. He hated that they couldn't see him. He sighed as he moved through one of the doors, causing it to creak. He hated being stuck in this house. At least he was pretty sure he was stuck in the house. He didn't feel the need to go anywhere else.

"Well, as we spoke on the phone, I knew I wanted it as soon as I saw the pictures. Which judging by being here now, must have been taken before him. Not that I'm complaining, he did a good enough job." Kitty grinned, running her hand over the beautiful stairwell banister. It was amazing that the house had stayed empty for so many years, and it was a sin too. The place was broken down and hurting, it could certainly use a face lift, and maybe a bit more than that too. She felt a slight chill, pulling her jacket tighter. "This place looks so much better than in the pictures. I'm excited to start working. Do you mind if I move in a day earlier? I'll come down to your office tomorrow to sign all the papers!"

Lincoln's head perked up when he heard the girl saying she was going to get the house. He didn't want anyone to live here. If he couldn't fix it up there was no way he was going to let someone else. Lincoln walked out of the room again and stood behind her, breathing on her neck. He stepped back from where he was then walked down the stairs, making them creak with every step. Lincoln sighed as he sat on the bottom step and waited for them to leave. He liked it when it was quiet.
