Blake easily agreed with the other, it was still light out and although he didn't know the current time he figured they still have a little while to go before the sun goes down and night falls upon them. He was far from eager about that. "You can say that now but could have sworn a second ago I saw a wet eye" Blake jokes as he follows after the other, taking note which direction they were vaguely walking away from the cave in case they were to return. "Hey, do you think there are any animals around? Like bears? " he asked, holding on tight and doing his best to keep up.

Maddox

Maddox looked at her, "Nothing really. I've just been working a lot." He said with a shrug. He sat near the fire and warmed his hands. He looked up, seeing the sun was finally starting to settle.

Lennox

Lennox watched as he sat near the fire. She moved so she was closer to the fire and shivered. She hated that it was so cold. "God this sucks." She muttered to herself. She looked over at him for a moment then looked back at the fire.

"Oh. That's nice." Cass said softly her eyes going back up to Maddox just as a breeze blew in causing her to shiver and wrap her arms around herself tightly. Honestly she'd been wondering if he'd been seeing anyone else not that it really mattered but it didn't make her any less curious.

Travis Powell
"I agree." Travis muttered rolling his eyes as he looked up at the sky. It was starting to get dark which could be a good or bad thing. It meant the day was almost over but it also meant that they'd been here a whole day. He couldn't have been stuck with anyone else?

Damon Anderson
"Ha ha." Damon muttered though their was a slight smile on his face. "It's possible but I don't really know. Most big forests do have bears but they don't usually attack and we don't have to worry about them coming around because we don't have any food to attract them. And if we stay out of their territory we should be fine." He said softly as he walked not letting go of Blake's hand.

Blake made a face. He had no clue how big this forest was, felt like it was never ending and he really didnt want there to be any bloody bear around, or any animal that could possibly kill them. Blake doesnt even think he has it in him to kill an animal. "Hey if we can focus on where we going maybe we'll be more sure that we aren't walking into a bears home?" Blake asked with a huff as he glanced behind them, completely forgetting which direction they had been coming in. It didn't matter, every tree looked the same and the farther they walked the same the place looked. "Weird, where are the other people? Could have sworn I heard some before" Blake numbed shoulders with Damon, keeping his tone light since he didn't want to start arguing all over again, at least not yet. He wasn't going to lie, having a dispute and pissing Damon off was a lot of fun, kept him on his feet.

"Bears typically have dens and as long as we stay away from places like that we should be fine." Damon said as he looked back making sure the cave was disappearing from sight. "Let's just keep walking." He mumbled not really paying attention to what was in front of them.

"Damon your legs are much longer than mine alright, I can'to keep up, so slow down please" Blake said with a long suffered sigh. He's only five three as much as he hates it and in his life work he doesn't do anything but sit on a computer so this sort of change really gets it out of him and he hates to admit it. Blake hadn't very well noticed their hands were still linked together, felt kinda nice even but he would go to the grave saying it wasn't. Blake squeezed the others hand tightly for a moment before he gave him a tug, "Suns going down a bit, what are we gonna do? Sleep in a tree?"

Maddox nodded, "Here." HE said as he pulled his hoodie off. He handed it to her. "It's gonna get cold tonight." He said. He looked up at the mountain and sat a cut in the mountain. "Tommorw we can make our way there. Looks like a small cave." He explained.

Lennox

Lennox could tell he hated being with her. She glanced around, seeing something out of the corner of her eyes. She looked down at her hands and sighed.

"Thank you." Cass said softly as she put on the hoodie with a small smile. She hesitated for a moment before she moved closer to him wrapping her arms around him and hugging him. "I think I'd probably be dead by now without you." She admitted quietly even though there might have been a few times she wished she wanted to be dead.

Travis Powell
"Fuck did you see that?" Travis asked as he saw something dart out of his vision. He wasn't sure what it was but he hadn't thought it was living at first but apparently it was and that freaked him out. He looked around quickly but it was gone though that didn't make him feel any better about it.

Damon Anderson
"Sorry." Damon mumbled as he slowed down his pace for Blake. "I don't know. Maybe we should stop for the night." He stated looking around and feeling more uneasy then he had in years. It was a bad place he knew that and he wanted to get the hell out and fast.

Blake frowned as he looked up at Damon, he could tell how uneasy the other was, the way he spoke, the way he stood,"Really wanna stop in the middle? Think we should keep looking for at least a place to hide, don't think it'd be smart to just sprawl out on in the middle of a clear area, don't you?" Blake asked a little teasingly, finally letting go of the others hand because he realized they've been holding hands for the longest of time.

Maddox smiled as he put his arm around her, "You'll be alright...we will be okay." HE said as he put the wood on the fire. He was glad that it was warm enough. He looked at Cass and rubbed her arm. "IT's gonna be a cold night." He muttered as he held her close.

Lennox

Lennox looked behind her, "Something is here." She whispered. She screamed when something shoved her off the log she was on. She backed away from where she was and gasped when something grabbed her leg. She saw a hand from the bush and tried to push it away. She slid into Travis, freaking out.

Cass wrapped her arms around him tightly hiding her face in his chest. She hated the fact that she felt completely safe in his arms but at the same time it was nice. "I know." She murmured as she shivered again holding him as tightly as she could without squishing him.

Travis Powell
Travis' eyes widened as he a dark figure shove Lennox. He grabbed onto her pulling her close to him as they stood by the fire. It wasn't a animal and he damn sure didn't want to think what it could be. "We are definitely not alone." He muttered as he kept her close. They didn't have anything to use to fight off this thing whatever it was.

"We need to hurry." Damon said his eyes looking around with worry. He frowned slightly when he felt Blake's hand move out of his but he didn't say anything. What the fuck were they supposed to do they had nothing and it was obvious something had died in that cave or at the very least was savagely attack and neither of them could survive that.

Maddox held her close and rubbed her back, "We just have to stay near the fire." HE said as he kissed her head, like he use to do. He pulled away from her, realizing what he had done. HE got so lost with her that he forgot they weren't together.

Lennox

Lennox hugged him and buried her face in his chest, "We're going to die out here." She muttered as she gripped onto him. She was terrified that she wasn't going to make it out of there. Though Travis was the only one to comfort her and she was surprised he was after what she did to him. Not only did she break his heart but she let him catch her with another guy at a party. Then humiliated him in front of everyone.

Cass looked up at him with big blue eyes. "I-it's okay Maddy." Cass whispered softly as she returned her head to his shoulder. She placed a light kiss on his cheek. She enjoyed his comfort it was something no one else could he could make her feel absolutely safe in any situation

"No we won't." Travis said as he held her close his eyes on everything. He could see whatever it was move across the shadows but it didn't move into the light. "I think if we stay in the light tell morning we should be okay." He said as he moved them a little closer. Sure he might have been hurt by Lennox in the past but it doesn't matter how badly he was hurt he wouldn't let her die. Obviously he didn't feel the same way for her any more but he did care about her and he wouldn't let whatever the fuck that was hurt her.

Maddox looked down at her, "I just don't want to upset you." He said. He knew she was engaged now. What they had was long gone and he wouldn't get a second chance. He smiled as he kissed her forehead.

Lennox moved with him and held onto him. She was exhausted but she was scared. She slowly pulled away from him and sat down on the ground close to the fire. She pulled his jacket closed in the front as she tried to relax. She glanced around, looking for the shadow figure.

"You can't upset me." Cass said softly her arms tightening around him. He couldn't hurt anymore than he already did and he couldn't her more pain then Kyle did. With him she felt safe. She stayed in his arms not wanting to move.

"I think it's gone." He said as he looked around his eyes focused on everything for a moment before he looked back at her. "You can go to sleep if you want." He said as he sat close to the fire. He wouldn't be sleeping that's for sure.

Maddox smiled, "Well we should rest a bit." He said. He pulled away and sat down on the ground. He looked up at her, "You should rest." He said as he offered her his hand.

Lennox nodded, "Okay." She said softly. She watched as he sat down then laid down and got comfortable. She rested her head on her arms as she pulled herself into a ball. She closed her eyes and started to fall asleep.

Blake rubbed the back of his neck as he looked around, it was getting rather dark quickly now and they didn't have a place to go and be safe at."Let's keep walking then Damon" he tells the other, grabbing his hand once against instantaneously and before he could stop himself from pulling his hand back he smiles, soft and private,"Got to hold hands in case one of use go the wrong way" he teases.

Cass smiled slightly as she took his hand and got down sitting beside him. She was very happy she had gotten stuck with Maddy even if he had hurt her in the past she didn't trust anyone else enough to sleep around at least not in this situation.

Travis laid back stairing at the stars in the sky. He was terrified to sleep and scared to just lay there. There was something out there in the woods that wanted them and for good reason but they'd all left that behind them.

"Alright we'll keep going." Damon said his eyes moving around trying to find some place they could hide for the night. "Alright. I'll except that." He said with a slight smirk as he squeezed Blake's hand.

Blake blushes as he feels Damon squeeze his small hand, his heart stuttering a single beat. "Wipe that smirk off your face loser" he growls with false anger, in reality a little embarresed. They needed to find a place to hide, somewhere it wasn't as likely for them to be found. Tugging Damon along Blake kept his out focused around him till he stopped in front of a tree, its branches and leaves drapping to the group in pretty, vibrant green leaves and a few flowers, the inside unseen. "Think we can hide in here, people don't usually check trees do they? "
