Scarlett glanced at the clock for the tenth time in the past hour. Her husband was supposed to be home by 6:30 and it was five past nine. She knew he was out doing his job, but he was supposed to be home almost three hours ago. "I guess I'll have to make dinner for myself again," she mumbled under her breath.

Brian pointed the gun to the man's head, threatening to pull the trigger. "Where's the fucking money?" His boss, Matt asked. The man shook his head slowly, and flashed a sardonic grin to Brian. "I don't have it," he said coolly. "That's too bad. We were going to let you off easy, but you made your decision." Brian spoke.

Zacky took and grinned as he watched Brian and Matt with the man. He took and cocked his neck a little keeping his gun aimed at the other bastard's head. He pushed it further into the temple, "Where's the god damn money, Louis?" He snarled out wanting to know where it was so he could kill him and get home.

Julie glanced at her phone then to the clock on the stove for what seemed like the millionth time tonight. Her husband, Brian should've been home by now. Yes he had a job like many men in this world. But yes he had a wife, that he should be home with too. A soft sigh emerging from her lips. She turned all the lights off and headed upstairs with the small white dog, Pinkly to go to bed.

After Scarlett had finished eating her dinner, she set aside a plate for her husband Zacky to eat when he finally decided to come home. Scarlett walked upstairs and decided to take a warm bath to calm her nerves. She slowly stripped herself of her clothing, and stepped in the tub. She wished that Zacky would arrive home earlier than usual. Even though she didn't necessarily love her husband, it still felt good to be able to see him at least twice a day.

Brian delivered a punch to the man's face, who at the moment was not giving in to Brian's threats. "Tell me now and we might let you off easy. And if you don't... we'll see how much you care for your precious family," Brian said in a low voice.

"Don't you dare touch them!" The man yelled, his face twisting in anger and fear.

"Or else what?" Brian asked, his finger running lightly across the barrel of the gun. He had the man right where he needed him.

"Fine I'll tell you, just don't hurt my family!" The man cried.

Brian grinned. In a couple of minutes, he and the other boys would be able to go home. Brian had promised his wife that he'd be home early, but he had broke that promise. He only hoped she would be so forgiving.

Zacky grinned seeing Brian with the man and the news he'd tell them. He smirked as he took and knocked the man out and walked with Johnny. He sighed a little waiting for this to be over. So he could head home to his wife for the remainder of the night.

Julie climbed into the enormous bed as she laid on her side staring at the empty spot where her husband was supposed to be laying. She sighed rolling onto her back and placing her hands on her belly. She starred up at the ceiling and hummed to a song that was in her head at the moment.

"If you ever decide you want to fuck with us again, let's just say your family won't be so perfect anymore," Brian told the man as he walked out of the building. He said his goodbyes to the guys and hurried home to his wife. "I am so sorry Julie," Brian mumbled.

Scarlett sighed at the sound of the front door opening. "Great," she grumbled. Scarlett was not in the mood to see him anymore, not after his escapades with his "buddies".

Zacky walked up the stairs after tossing his keys into the glass bowl on the door table. And removing his shoes at the side of the door downstairs. He headed into the bedroom and saw the bathroom light on. He walked inside and looked at Scarlett, "Sorry I was late, Scar." He said before turning and going to the bed and plopping down after he stripped to his boxers.

Julie slowly opened her eyes up hearing Brian's rough, raspy voice. She rubbed the back of her hand over her eyes as she sighed sitting up in the bed. "It's fine." She muttered trying to wake herself up.

"No it's not fine, I promised to be home early and I fucked up. But I promise to make it up to you tomorrow," Brian murmured as he slipped into bed with Julie.

Scarlett stepped out of the tub and began to dry herself off. After she put on her nightgown, she climbed into the bed with Zacky. "It's okay Zack, it's not like I needed to tell you anything important," Scarlett mumbled under her breath. The truth was, she did need to tell him something important. But now, it had to wait.

Julie glanced over at him as she rolled onto her side and stared at Brian. She let a soft sigh escape her lips. "Ok." She replied lightly. Anymore she couldn't believe him when he said he promise. Everytime that he did he always broke them. She pecked his lips before resting her head on his chest and closing her eyes.

Zacky rolled over towards her and stared at her, "Scarlett, what's going on?" He asked concern raising in his voice. He knew something was going on and the way she was acting. Had him kind of worried now.

"It's nothing important Zack. I'll tell you tomorrow when you're not busy, so please go to sleep," she told him softly. The last thing she wanted right now was for him to argue with her.

Zacky woke up early before Scarlett the next morning. He had decided on trying to make things up to her. He had made breakfast for them as he set the table and waited for her to come down.

Julie took and hummed lightly to herself as she went around the kitchen. Cooking like a normal routine that she did every morning. She heard the coffee pot and poured Brian's coffee out and sat it on the island as she kept going about making their food.

Scarlett rubbed her eyes softly and noticed that Zacky's side of the bed was empty. He must have left early. Scarlett thought with a frown on her face. She slowly got up from her bed and walked downstairs to prepare herself breakfast. As Scarlett entered the kitchen, she was surprised to find Zacky cooking breakfast for the both of them. "What's this? I thought you left early." Scarlett said.

"Morning," Brian yawned. He picked up the mug Julie set on the counter for him and took a small sip. "Are you busy today?" He asked, breaking the silence between the two.

Zacky turned and rose his eyebrow and smiled at his wife. "I decided to stay home today." He began as he sat her plate down in front of her with some coffee. "I wanna say sorry for last night Scar." He looked at her as he pecked her head. "I didn't mean to take and be late." He told her sitting beside of her.

Julie glanced over her shoulder as she took and finished their food and sat his plate in front of him. "As of now, no." She said softly sitting at the island with her husband as she picked at her food.

"Like I said before Zack, it's fine. I'm the one who should be be apologizing because I overreacted." Scarlett said as she wrapped her arms around her husband. "Now let's eat this breakfast before it gets cold." she said.

"Great because I want to take you out to dinner to make up for my mistakes." Brian said.

Zacky nodded his head to his wife, "I agree." He replied to her kissing her lips. He began diving into his food starved.

Julie looked over at Brian. She'd never heard this from him in the past five years they'd been married. "That's sweet Brian." She said softly clearing her throat. "I'd like it." She smiled.

"And I'm inviting my friend and his wife to join us if that's alright. Maybe you two could go shopping for a fancy outfit later today." Brian said with a mouth full of food. Julie tended to keep to herself, so maybe this dinner would help her get out of the shell she had created.

Julie took and looked at Brian and shrugged a little clearing her throat. "Sounds nice." She replied finishing the small amount of food she'd put in her plate and put it in the dish washer as she let a soft sigh escape her lips.

Zacky finished up his food and cleaned up the mess from where he'd cooked. He took and looked at Scarlett, "So do you have anything planned tonight?" He asked her, already receiving the invite from Brian.

"I don't have anything planned. Why?" She asked. Scarlett picked up her plates and began to wash them. Hopefully it wasn't another one of those crazy parties his friends had made them attend every year.

Brian noticed her discomfort about the situation. "Julie, he's a nice guy. So is his wife. Maybe you could hang out with her sometime," he said.

Zacky smiled at her, "A friend of mine invited us to dinner tonight with him and his wife. Maybe the two of you could hang out and such." Zacky smiled at her.

Julie took and looked at him and nodded her head. "Hopefully." She smiled lightly at Brian as she lent over and kissing his cheek before heading upstairs to get some things done.

"I'd like that." Scarlett smiled. She hadn't had a close friend in many years.

Suddenly, her face had changed into a dark shade of green. "I'll be right back," Scarlett said before she rushed to the bathroom and emptied her stomach contents into the toilet. "Well there goes my breakfast," she said with a groan.
