Riley nodded. "Yeah, that's usually how things work." She said. "I'm sure we can find one somewhere here in the city. We should get on that soon though so we can get our pick of days."
Barry nodded and quickly grabbed the directory and flipped through the pages, "how about this one right here? Or.." He grabbed his laptop, "this is slower than I am" he chuckled.
"Oh, don't slow down on my account." Riley joked, letting out a quiet laugh. "Unless you want my input, because, if you do, then by all means, the laptop is probably for the best." She laughed once more.
Barry laughed, "sorry, I get like that when I'm excited, " he grabbed the laptop and starting looking at every venue site. "Hmm.. This one looks good what do you think?" He asked with a smile.
Riley laughed quietly. "I've noticed. It's kind of cute actually." She kissed his cheek before looked at the laptop screen. She looked over the information for the venue and nodded. "That one does seem good." She smiled.
Barry smiled softly, "well thank you, I don't mean to be cute" he chuckled. He nodded and set everyone the site, "okay.. We've got to get a cake order in soon then. Know any good bakeries?"
Riley smiled. "Well, sometimes it happens even when it's unintentional. Shouldn't you be taking a compliment from me though? I thought you always complained about me being mean to you." She laughed quietly. "I think i might know of one we can use."
Barry chucked, "yeah I guess you're right, you don't usual give me compliments I better take it." Barry looked at her and wondered what Riley had in mind. "Oh yeah? What did you have in mind?"
Riley laughed quietly. "Because I'm just that mean, right?" Her tone was light and teasing. "There's one that I came across a couple of weeks ago. I can probably go there during the week and see if they can do it for us."
Barry nodded, "exactly you've made my point," Barry nodded looking through some pictures on his phone. "She likes the color purple and teal so those are some colors you might want to do.. As decoration goes anything is fine.. I guess "
Riley smiled. "Alright, purple and teal. I'll keep that in mind and see what if I can think of anything. If not, I'm sure the people at the bakery can come up with an awesome design." She told him.
Barry nodded, "sounds great, I'm sure as long as the cake is marble and whipped cream she won't care what's on it" he chuckled leaning back. "So what did you want to do now?"
Riley nodded. "Yeah, that doesn't really surprise me at all." She said, letting out a quiet laugh. "I'm not really sure. We've wasted half the day laying around, being lazy."
Barry chuckled, "she just wants cake and ice cream.. She's shch a kid" he laughed. Barry thought about what they could do and nothing really came to mind, "hmm.. Well, making out is out of the question isn't it?"
Riley laughed quietly. "Like I said earlier, some things never change." She told him, shaking her head slightly. "Did you offer to stay with me this weekend so you could make out with me the entire time, Barry Allen? And to think I thought you did it for my shining personality."
Barry nodded, "nope, she certainly has it and she lives with her boyfriend so he puts up with her more than we do." He laughed at her comment, "I might have but I really like your place maybe I just want to live here.."
Riley laughed. "You make it sound like someone needs a lot of patience to put up with her. I think you're more of a handful than she is." She told him. "Are you inviting yourself to move into my apartment?" She laughed once more.
Barry chuckled, "nah I just like teasing her, it's what I do remember? Of course you would say that.. Sticking with your girlfriends huh?" Barry shrugged his shoulders, "it's a suggestion."
Riley laughed quietly. "Yeah, you like teasing me too." She said, shooting a playful glare his way. "I mean, I guess my apartment is a lot nicer than yours." She joked. "But...wouldn't that be too soon? I mean, we haven't exactly talked about what we even are right now..."
Barry nodded, "it's what I live for" he chuckled, "it is nicer than mine" he agreed. Barry sighed, "we don't have to move in together, we're just friends right? I was going to move back in with Joe. Cause I can't afford my apartment anymore.. Rent went up. It sucks. Oh well. He needs me anyway" he chuckled.
