Barry smiled "all right cool. Joe will be happy to see you too since you know we all grew up together. " he started drinking his coffee and smiled at Riley. "You've met him already? " Iris asked almost shocked. Barry chuckled "You've read her blog and articles righ?" They were really something els sometimes he wondered if she knew who he really was.

Riley smiled, taking a sip of her coffee. She glanced over to Iris, seeing the shocked expression on her face. "Well, yeah..." She said. "A couple of nights ago actually." Her gaze shifted over to Barry for a moment and she nodded. "Yeah, I've seen her blog before." She laughed quietly. That was the only reason why she'd known who the Flash was when he saved her from those guys the other night.

Barry nodded, "I think Iris might have a crush, better not tell Eddie" he teased. "Oh shut up, I'm going back to work but we should catch up Riley, a shopping day or go out drinking?" She suggested. Barry watched Iris walk away and turned his attention to Riley, "would you like anything else?"

Riley let out a quiet laugh in response to Barry's teasing comment towards Iris. "Yeah, that would be great." She told her, smiling. "Text me and we'll figure something out." Honestly shopping or going out for a couple of drinks sounded really great. She couldn't remember the last time she'd done something like that if she was being honest. She focused her attention on Barry once Iris had walked away. "Nah, I'm good." She told him.

Barry wanted to make Riley as comfortable as possible, "so I'm sure youve noticed all the changes around Central City huh?" He finished off his coffee and set it down, "I'll have to introduce you to Kaitlyn and Cisco later, they're really, great. So dos you have any plans? Maybe we can walk around here."

Riley nodded. "Yeah, I figured a lot would have changed in ten years, but I kind of underestimated time, I guess." She said, sipping her coffee. "Friends of yours, I'm guessing? And I actually don't have any plans for the rest of the day. You could easily be stuck with me for the rest of the day." She laughed.

Barry stood up and walked over paying for their drinks, "well, it's not all going to stay the same, right?" He nodded in response to her question, "yeah, for another job I work at, part time" he chuckled. Barry smiled "we can always go to all our old hang out places of they're still there."

Riley shook her head. "Most things don't." She said. "Ah, so you have two jobs then? You must be pretty busy." She said, standing up. She smiled at his suggestion. She was glad that she didn't have to get to work or anything like that. She was looking forward to spending some more time with Barry. "That would be cool, I'm not sure how many of them will actually still be there, but I guess we're just going to have to find out."

Barry nodded, more like three. he thought to himself, "always busy he's, I make time for my friends though so it's okay." Barry opened the door and let Riley out before walking behind her, "I know the city has changed so much, maybe we'll find at least one, I hope so anyway." He chuckled. It would be nice to find a spot they'd hang out just for memories.

Riley smiled. "That's good." She said. She'd learned pretty quickly in college just how important time management was. "I hope so too." It would definitely be nice to see at least one of their old hang outs intact. She wasn't sure that they'd find any other ones though. After all, ten years was a pretty long time.

Barry nodded, "sometimes it's hard you know juggling to jobs and paying bills and making time with friends.." being a superhero. Everything seemed to pile up on Barry rather quickly and he wondered of Riley knew about his parents, probably not since she hasn't asked. He wouldn't know how to explain it to her anyway.

Riley nodded. "Yeah, sounds like it." She said. "Life just gets hectic sometimes in general though. It's hard to balance everything sometimes." It was something that hadn't really hit her until she got to college and sort of had to become an adult. Before then, she hadn't realized just how many responsibilities each person usually had, some more than others. She didn't know about Barry's parents, and she of course didn't know what had happened to him a couple of months ago either.

Barry nodded, "it can be but I can handle it, when life throws curveballs you just have to hit it out of the park• he laughed moments later, "that was cheesy wasn't it? I really need to stop talking to Joe about this stuff," he walked along the side walk heading to an old park they would always go and play. Barry was the only boy out of the three but that never bothered him, his mother always taught him to be a good person and not judge others by apperance. He sighed contently, "it's nice out."

Riley laughed quietly and nodded. "Yeah, a little bit." She said. "I won't hold it against you this time though." She grinned slightly. She nodded. "Yeah, it is. Hopefully it'll stay warm like this for a while." She hated cold weather, though she didn't mind it being a little cold at times like it was in the spring and fall. That was like the perfect temperature and weather right there.

Barry laughed, "good to know, I should write down what you don't like so I won't offend you with my nerdy things.." He looked around and smiled, Central City was nice in the summer and all the other seasons just some more than others. "So, how long have you been back anyway? Iris said you've mentiones a few weeks, didn't seek is out huh?" He teased.

Riley laughed. "Who said anything about offending?" She asked. "I know for a fact that I didn't. If anything, you saying something nerdy is just an excuse for me to make fun of you." She grinned slightly. "Yeah, it's been a few weeks. And no I didn't seek you two out. I was kind of just getting settled in, I guess." She shrugged her shoulders slightly.

Barry's mouth hung open and shook his head, "you got meaner since you left I don't think I like that" he chuckled. He was only teasing and he knew that Riley knew that. Barry Nodded "understandable so do you like being back or does it suck?" He asked with a chuckle.

Riley couldn't help laughing when she saw the somewhat shocked expression on his face. "Maybe you just need thicker skin." She said, her tone teasing. She knew that he was only joking around with her too. She laughed. "At first I wasn't too sure how I felt about it. I mean, it's been a really long time, and it felt kind of strange, being back and all, but I don't think it sucks as much as I originally might have thought."

Barry laughed and shrugged his shoulders, "maybe you should be nicer you just reunited with your old friends ans already you're making fun." He would feel a little weird too, "yeah, I felt weird too waking up from that coma four months ago, I mean I was in a coma for nine months, talk about bizarre it was weird, it sucked " he nodded.
