Kinsley couldn't help it as her eyes shut falling asleep almost instantly. It was an exhaustion sleep from to many nights of not allowing herself to rest. Her arms wrapped around herself in a slight protection state as best as she could unconscious.

"Are you hungry?" Carla asked as she watched her. She was slightly worried about her around her family. It was rare for her to allow people in not that all of them were family but they had become family being stuck together for a few months. They looked out for one another.
"What took you so long Cassie?" Amber asked in between bites with her mouth full.
Caspian frowned slightly deciding not to say the truth. "I got lost in the hospital I had to find other places they put your medicine." He said as he ran a hand through her blonde hair. He didn't like to sugar coat things but if he said the truth or even part of it she wouldn't eat her food.

Tristan stood up and walked over to her. He laid the blanket over her and smiled. He walked back to where he was and laid down. Tristan closed his eyes and fell asleep. He felt like she wouldn't do something to hurt him. Tristan woke up the next morning and sighed.

Savannah shook her head, "I don't want anything from you." She said softly. She wasn't going to take their rations or anything. Then she would owe them something and that was an attachment. She leaned back against the wall and stared up at the ceiling. She looked over as the little girl spoke. She bit her bottom lip lightly, knowing that he was laying to her. She looked back at the ceiling and tried to relax.

Kinsley woke up and started looking around frantically before she remembered where she was. She looked down at the blanket that covered her and smiled. "Thank you." She said softly as she started folding the blanket setting it beside her. "I'll get going now."

Caspian frowned at her comment. "Amber why don't you go take some food to to Jason and Harper." He said as he watched her walk away he double checked her plate to make sure it was gone and once he heard the door shut he spoke. "I let you come here against my better judgment. If you want to be a little bitch then go! But you don't act like a spoiled little princess that's to good for shit in front of little kids." He growled.

Tristan sat up and stretch, "No problem." He said as he stood up and put the stuff away. He looked at her, "be careful out there." He said. He knew he shouldn't send er out there alone. As she walked to the door he sighed, "hey. Where are you headed anyway?" He asked.

Savannah frownwd at him, "I'm not being a bitch. I'm just not going to take someone else's rations. Obviously you guys need them more than I do." She said. She glared at him, "you don't have to be such a jerk either." She said as she crossed her arms. She didn feel like fighting with this guy.

"I'm not really sure." Kinsley admitted as she looked over. "Can I have my things back?" She asked she wouldn't step out of there unarmed she tried way to hard to stay alive to go out without any weapons.

Caspian stepped close enough to whisper in her ear. "Says the girl that tried to kill me on sight." He whispered taking a step back. His head snapped when he heard a noise outside and he took off towards the door to roof. "Get back downstairs Amber. You too Harper." He said practically shoving them down the stairs.

Tristan smirked, "YEa you can." He said as he gave them back to her. "There's a small town outside of the city. Rumor is there is no zombies out there expect for a few stragglers. You should head there. I was going to go, but i decided to stay here." He said.

Savannah bit her bottom lip lightly as he whispered in her ear. She watched as he ran upstairs then heard something slam against the door. Savannah grabbed her stuff and put her backpack on. She knew what was happening. The zombies had found them. She watched as the doors hinges started to pop and looked around for another exit. She managed to find a vent and popped it open. Savannah shoved her bag inside then looked back when she saw where the kids had went. They would die down there. She groaned as she went to get them. She frowned as the older man didn't want to go. She managed to get a few of them to go with her. Savannah let the small girl named Amber go ahead of her as the door finally broke. She kicked the vent at the other end open and hoped out in the back alley. She put her fingers to the girl;s lips. "Shhh..." She whispered. She looked up at the roof seeing Caspian. She sounds of the screaming in the room made it obvious what was happening. Savannah frowned when she saw a few zombies then took Amber and ran with her. She picked her up, knowing Caspian would be able to find them. He knew the town better than her. She slipped into the one building and hid with her. She bit her bottom lip lightly when she realized this girl needed to eat. "Here." she said as she dumped the stuff out of her bag. She gave the girl the last thing of food she had. She put the stuff back then looked out the window to look for Caspian. she hoped he made it.

"Thanks." Kinsley said with a smile. "Okay I think I might check it out." She said as she started to leave. She looked back and smiled. "Thank you again." She said before she left the room and headed out the way she came.

Caspian and Jason had managed to get a bunch of them but the sounds of the screaming in the house made it hard to concentrate. He tried to listen for hoping to god he wouldn't hear her. He caught sight of Savannah with Amber and let out a sigh before Jason smacked his head. "Head in the game Cas." He muttered irritated before he took off back into the house. "We gotta go in and help them." Jason said as he went down into the house. Caspian followed not because he thought there was hope but because he needed Amber's Meds. He was nearly attacked but managed to get the freak in the head with a bat covered in barbed wire. He grabbed the two bags he'd brought in throwing one over his shoulder and the other in his hand. He smashed a back window with his elbow jumping out and taking off down the street. Jason wouldn't make it he knew that much he wouldn't be able to take his own family down when it needed to be done. He looked around as he ran down streets and alley's trying to figure out where Amber and Savannah might have gone.

Tristan watched as she left and sighed. He looked around the empty room then went over and looked out the window. He certainly felt alone now that she had left. He knew he shouldn't have let her stay with him. Not having human contact was nice, but now that he had it. He missed it.

Savannah managed to raise the one window when she saw Caspian. She dropped something just to get him to look up, but not loud enough to draw attention. When she saw him looked up she moved away. She went over to Amber, "He's coming up now." She said softly. She pulled her bag on and grabbed her weapon, opening the door when she heard him get closer.

Kinsley went on her way though she didn't male it very far when she noticed a car parked in the bushes trying to hide though it was to late when she felt arms around her. She screamed as she hit him already knowing it was Ryan by the tattoos on his arms. "Shhhh you're gonna attract the wrong kind of attention sweet heart." He murmured in her ear. "Sis told me to bring you back alive. You're apart of the family now but that just means we have to teach you a lesson." He added causing a shiver to run down her spine as he pushed her towards the truck.

Caspian sighed with relief when he saw Savannah in the window. He slipped in through a broken window and found his way to the top. "Thank you." He said as he found the room they were in and felt Amber's arms around his waist.

Tristan grabbed his weapon and walked out to get more food. He frowned when he saw Kinsley getting pulled towards a truck. "Hey! Let her go." He said as he pulled his gun up. He watched as the guy stepped back. Clearly he didn't have a gun. Tristan took kinsley and pulled her with him, watching the guy. He took off running down the street with her.

Savannah nodded, "no problem." She said. She grabbed her bag, "well I have to get going now." She said looking at the two of them. She did promise she would leave.

Kinsley ran beside Tristan thankful that he'd come outside. "Thank you." She said softly looking back to make sure Ryan was leaving. She couldn't help but smirk that the sight of the gash on his head. Though obviously it was enough. "You can't run from the family." She heard causing a frown on her lips as she caught him jump in the truck and take off.

"Don't go." Amber said with a frown as she stepped away from Caspian. Caspian frowned slightly at Amber it was probably best that she stay away. They were bad luck apparently considering their family was gone and then the people who'd taken them in were all gone now.

Tristan looked at her, "We needed to get some stuff then we will head out of town." He said. He figured he could leave this place finally. She obviously was being chased by these people for a reason. "Why are they so determined to take you back?" He asked her finally.

Savannah looked at the girl, "Sorry, but i promised i would leave." She said. She looked at Caspian and then at Amber. She had to go find more food before she headed out of the city. SHe wondered what they would do next.

"They said I was apart of their family now. They have this stupid plan to repopulate the earth and they haven't come across many girls." Kinsley said with a frown as a shiver went down her spine at the thought of the man touching her. "It's disgusting." She muttered shaking her head trying to get the thought out of her head. "I don't even see the point of that

Amber looked up at Caspian with her big blue eyes. "Tell her she can stay with us." She pouted shoving him slightly, for an eight year old she was pretty strong. "I don't think she wants to stay." Caspian said as he dodged a hit from her.

Tristan shook his head, "people are crazy." He muttered. He walked into the one market then started to fill his bag with food. Normally he wouldn't take so much but they had a long way to go. "Grab some stuff we are going to need it." he said.

Savannah pulled her jacket on then went to walk away. She turned around looking at them, "There's a small town outside of the city that is rumored to have no zombies. Do you want to come?" She asked him. Savannah bit her bottom lip lightly as she looked at Caspian.

"Okay." Trinity said as she started walking down the isles putting things she thought they might need into her bag. It was pretty full when she decided to go back and find Tristan.

"Yes." Amber said without waiting for Caspian to say anything.
"Okay" Caspian said softly as he reached into hi weapons bag handing Amber a smaller bat with barbed wire on it. "Thanks. We can't stay here any longer."

Tristan looked at Kinsley, "Are you ready?" He asked as he put a few bottles of water in his bag. He put his on his back then grabbed his weapons. "I'm gonna try to find a car and see if i can get it to start." He said as he walked out with her. He figured if he could find one with enough gas to get out of the city they would be okay.

SAvannah nodded, "Alright lets go." She said. She held her weapon as they walked out of the building. She looked over at Caspian, "You know this town better than me so which way is the easier way out?" She asked him.

"Ya." Kinsley said as she sipped her bag putting it on her shoulder and looking over at Tristan. She held her Ax in hand, it was her preferences weapon it was quiet and did enough damage. "Let's go." She said checking to make sure the coast was clear.

"The east. The west is usually crowded with them. The bridge is down in the south and the North is not even an option." He said shuddering slightly. He'd tried that once and it didn't really work out he barely made it out alive.

Tristan walked with her up the street then looked at a truck that looked to be in pretty good condition. He walked over and popped open the door. Tristan looked at her, "Keep a look out." He said as he started messing with the wires.

Savannah nodded then started to walk with him. She let her eyes look around as they walked. She hated not being alone because now she had to look out for them. She stopped, looking at a camping store. "we should grab some stuff for when we get into the rural area. There's a good amount of woods between here and the other town.

Kinsley nodded as she stood walking from one end of the truck to the other. Her eyes focused on everything around them trying to give a heads up. It was quiet though compared to everything there were no groans from the dead.
