"Before I eat." Amber said looking back at the tent. She went in for a second grabbing a small bottle and a needle from the bag. She could normally do it on her own but there had been once she almost didn't remove the air bubbles on purpose and another time she tried to take it without eating.

Tristan thought for a moment, "Honestly i was happy with what i was doing." He said. He had been in school becoming a therapist. He enjoyed helping people.

Savannah watched as she came out, "Do you need my help?" She asked the little girl. She watched as she held the things out then took them from her. "How much are you suppose to take?" She asked her.

"So you got to live out your dreams?" Kinsley asked as she leaned back looking at the sky with a grin. She was happy that some people still got to live out their lives but she just wasn't one of those people she wasn't lucky enough she supposed.

Amber sighed slightly "5 ml's." She said softly as she watched Savannah. Another person that didn't trust her and she supposed it was a smart idea. Caspian poked his head out of the tent. "It's 4 not 5."

Tristan shrugged, "I mean there was more i wanted out of life. Though when this happened i guess i had more done than most people." He said. He looked at his hands, then looked over at her.

Savannah looked back at Caspian, then drew up the right amount of insulin. She made sure there wasn't any bubbles or anything then gave Amber the shot. Savannah handed the girl the small bottle, "Give that back to your brother." she said softly as she disposed of the used needle. She knew they weren't reusing them. It wouldnt be smart. She pulled her jacket off the log next to her then pulled it on. She knew that winter was slowly getting there and she hated the cold.

"There's always more to do." Kinsley said with a small smile. "It just really depends on each person I guess."

Amber nodded handing the bottle back to Cas. "Thanks." Caspian said with a slight nod as he put the bottle back with the others. He sighed slightly trying to decide if mixing the doses was on purpose or accident.

Tristan nodded, "that's true. Only thing about this life is there's no way to get ahead." He said. He hated that everyday was a constant struggle to stay alive.

Savannah ate the food she had then looked at Caspian when he came out. "Are you hungry?" She asked as she looked at the food she made. She was hoping amber would eat everything she gave her.

"Ya I guess." Kinsley said softly. "Eventually they should all decompose and eventually there won't be so many." She said though it was sad to think about.

"No thanks." Caspian said as he stepped out keeping his eye on Amber for a moment. "I'm not really hungry."

Tristan nodded, "Yea hopefully." He said. He looked around them, "We should get going." He said as he started to get his stuff. HE couldn't wait to get to the town that everyone was talking about.

Savannah looked at him, "You should really eat. You are going to need your energy." She said as she offered him a plate of food. "You'll be no use if you are sluggish." She said with a small smile.

"Okay." Kinsley said as she gathered up her things and looked around before waiting for Tristan. She was thankful that she would't have to do the journey on her own or be alone for awhile.

"Alright."Caspian said deciding not to fight the matter anymore. "We should get going after that though." He added as he sat down beside Savannah.

(Sorry it took awhile I've had a busy week.)

Tristan walked with her through the woods, letting his eyes scan the area. He climbed up onto a ledge then helped Kinsley up. Tristan kept walking, hoping they wouldn't run into an problems. He knew it was going to be a very long day. Tristan looked up, seeing the sky was starting to cloud up. He frowned when he saw the sky spitting snow.

Savannah got up then started to get their things out of the tent. She began to take it down, putting it back in its bag. She sighed as she set everything down then sat down next to Caspian again. She looked over as his sister walked around but not far from them. "How long have you two been alone?" She asked softly, looking over at him.

"Crap." Kinsley mumbled as she felt a cold snowflake hit her shoulder. She looked over at Tristan with wide eyes not really sure what to do. She wasn't exactly a fan of the snow r the cold so she wasn't sure what to do.

"Since it started. We were at a hospital our parents got sick ." Caspian said with a frown. When the virus hit Oregon his parents got sick and they didn't realize it at first but they were infected. It was hard and Amber took it really hard he had to literally throw her over his shoulder, she kinda quit for awhile refused to talk he had to force feed her and she never really moved much she was checked out for awhile and just a shell of a person when it really hit her. "It's been hard but we've made it this far." He said as he looked over at Amber there were some moments when he was afraid she'd go back to her empty shell. "how long have you been on your own.

Tristan looked at her, "We have to keep moving." He said as he stepped over one of the logs in front of him. He knew it would get bad eventually but he did want to get a little further. "If you want to stop just tell me when." He said, looking over at her.

Savannah nodded, "Since the beginning." she replied. She ran her fingers through her hair, "I lived with my boyfriend and he got sick in the first week." She said, looking at her hands. Savannah's parents had died when she was younger so she had been alone before. "Nothing like shooting the one person you thought you'd be with forever." She said, standing up. She grabbed her backpack then started to walk, "You coming?" She asked, looking back at them. She looked up at the heavy storm clouds.

Kinsley nodded as she followed behind Tristan shaking slightly. She was definitely not dressed for snow and if she'd actually known that it was about that time of the year she might have dressed a little warmer.

Caspian didn't really know what to say he couldn't really imagine having to kill the person he loved. Though he'd never really been in love he knew he loved his sister and he wasn't sure how he'd handle it if he had to kill her. He didn't like to think about it. He followed Savannah ' s gaze up to the sky with a frown. "We can't be in the rain forever." He said as he looked over at Amber she always had to be extra careful and with everything going on and not having nearly what they needed to take care of her if she got sick it could end bad especially since they were in the forest and no where near a town to get supplies if she happened to get sick.

Tristan looked at her, "You want my jacket?" He asked as he went to take of his jacket. He figured she would need it more than he did. He took off his jacket then gave it to her. "You will have to find some warmer clothes." He said.

Savannah nodded, "I know we should be able to get away from it soon." She said. She bit her bottom lip lightly as they continued to walk. Finally after walking for a few hours Savannah sighed as she sat down, "We should take a break." She said softly. She hated walking constantly.

Tristan shook his head, "It's alright. It's easy to lose track of time in times like this." He said as he looked at the woods in front of him. Tristan looked at her, "We can find somewhere to stop and get you something to wear. Until then you can wear my jacket." He said with a shrug.

Savannah stared down at her hands as she relaxed for a bit. She ran her fingers through her hair then leaned back against the tree she was near. She hated that she could see her breath and knew it was going to be a really cold night. She stood up once they sat for about twenty minutes. "Are you ready?" She asked as she put her backpack on her shoulder.

"Thanks." Kinsley said softly as she continued behind him. She wasn't a huge fan of the cold she could deal with it but it wasn't her favorite by any means.

"Ya. Amber you ready?" Caspian asked turning to look at Amber who was sitting against a tree. He stood up holding out his hand and helping Amber up. "Let's get going." He murmured softly.

Tristan walked with her til they got to a place they could set up camp. After he set up te tent he frowned when it started to freezing rain. "Damn this weather sucks. He muttered as he got their bed ready and put their things inside the tent.

Savannah sighed as they walked through the woods. She stopped behind Caspian when she felt him stop. She saw a zombie eating a dead animal and stayed as still as possible. Savannah noticed it seemed to be alone but sometimes that wasn't the case. She let stood behind him and amber as they waited for it to move on. Once it was gone she walked with them away from the area til they got far enough away to set up camp. "The sun will go down soon we have to start camp." She muttered as she set her stuff down.
