Diamonds And Grease. [Closed]

Owen yawned lightly as he got up out of bed, and proceeded to get ready for work. Owen showered then ate breakfast before placing a light kiss on his Aunt's cheek and heading out the door. Today was going to be a busy day, he had new employees to train, and it was said on the news that it was going to rain, which meant more business for Owen. Owen tossed his coat on the back of his chair in his office before grabbing a clipboard and reading the names of the new employees. He helped them individually for a moment, before grabbing another employee to further assist. Owen put his clipboard down and began working on a car that is supposed to be done this week.

Cass drove down the rode, tapping her fingers on the steering wheel. She frowned when her car started to pull. Cass frowned as it came to a stop and pouted. "Great." She muttered as she got out of her car. She sighed when she saw the smoke coming from it. Cass grabbed her cell phone and called the nearest mechanic shop. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she waited for the tow truck. She frowned when she saw the gross old guy get out of the truck. She really didn't want to get in the truck but she had to. Once they got to the shop she got out and frowned as she walked inside. She held her purse in her hand as she waited at the counter. She held her phone, texting her mom about what happened. This place was so gross and she wanted to go home.

Own looked over at Mark, who had just gotten a call, and was now asking him a question. Mark wondered if Owen could go pick up a car that had gotten staended, Owen sent Carl in his place, seeing as he was currently working on his budget. He continued to sort things until Carl had returned, Owen left his office and took the initial report from him and looked it over. "Ms. Jackson? We're going to need to run a full diagnosis to figure out what's wrong with your car, and then after that we can go about fixing it. I'm not sure how long this will take though." Owen gave her a quick glance over, noticing her looks. He figured she was one of those girls who'd by a new car cause there's a small scratch. He looked back down at the clipboard awaiting her answer.

Cass looked at the man in front of her, "Seriously? Ugh." She said. She needed her car today, "I'm guessing it won't be done today." She said as she avoided touching the counter or anything for that matter. She crossed her arms, hating that this was happening to her. "Fine. Just do something." She said, waving him off with her hand as if he were some servant for her. Cass looked at her phone as it started ringing, putting her hand up to stop the man in front of her from talking. "Hello?" She said as she walked away. "Daddy can you come get me?" She said as she stood by the window. She knew he'd be pissed that he had to come all the way out here to get her. "No don't send him id rather walk." She said at the mention of her ex. "I'm serious i will fucking walk!" She snapped.

Owen shook his head slowly and held the clipboard by his side as she questioned if her car would be ready by today. "No, the parts will take at least a day to get here, then it'll take a few hours to repair. If you put you're number on this forum, and we'll call you when-" He stoped after she raised her hand to his face for him to be silent. He inhaled deeply before taking a glance around the shop. Things had calmed down since she came into the store. After she finished on the phone, Owen looked to her before speaking. "If you want, I could give you a ride home, since your car is not in service."

Cass hung up her phone and stared at him, "okay." She said. He would be way better than her ex taking her. Even if he was poor. She put her phone in her purse and knew that her dad would take care of the bill. She never worried about stuff like this. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she looked out the shop window. She was surprised the guy had offered to take her home. What if he was a crazy person though?

Owen went to the back room, where the lookers were and grabbed the keys for his personal vehicle Before returning to the front. He could clearly see the worry filled look in her eye. "Don't worry," he started before unlocking the car. "I'm not going to kill you. It'd be bad for business." He said with a light laugh before opening up the door for her.

Cass smiled a little at what he said then watched as he opened the door, "thanks." She said as she got in. She was surprised at how clean the car was on the inside. She was glad for that though. She held her purse in her hands as he got in, then told him which way to go to get to her house. It was actually a good distance away from here. She was just glad her ex wasn't coming to get her.

Owen nodded as she directed him in the way to go. Starting up the car he said, "You'll be home shortly." He said with a friendly grin before taking off. After being on the road for a bit, Owen decided on breaking the silence. "So. Do you have anything important to do, where you'll need your car?" He questioned. He knew her car would take days, or weeks to fix, so she would need to make other transportation arrangements in the meantime.

Cass looked at him, "I have to go to a few of my dad's business dinners and parties. They are dumb." She said as she crossed her arms and looked out the window. she was sure that her dad would get her a car to drive around, but she really wanted her car. She hated that she had to wait so long to get it back.

"If they're so dumb, then why do the ou have to go?" Owen questioned with a shrug, glancing over to her before looking back to the road. It wasn't long until they were off the road, and pulling into her parents drive way. Turning off the car, Owen unlocked the doors. "I'll call you as soon as your car is ready. But until then," he paused reaching for one of the company cards clipped to his visor. "You give me a call if you need a ride." Owen had no plans for the next few weeks, and he wasn't really needed at the shop. Plus, he couldn't help but to feel bad for the girl.

Cass looked at him, "Because my dad wouldn't look very successful if he had a family that didn't looked perfect." She said. She ran her fingers through her hair as they pulled up to her huge house. She looked at Owen as he handed her his card. She took it from him, "Thanks." She said. She opened his door then got out, "Thanks for the ride." She said. She shut the door then walked into her house. She sighed as she looked around the house then went to her bedroom and started to get ready for bed.
