I'm sinistercutlass, but if you're curious, I have a German female name though I am not German (that's all I'll say on the subject ). I just discovered Mibba for myself yesterday, and I decided to join. You can expect some original fiction as well as some fanfiction on old-school shows and films from me :) Currently, I have up a fanfic for "Aladdin" as well as a fanfic crossing over "The Mask" and "Batman: The Animated Series".

Hey sinister! I guess my genre is Steampunk/Fantasy. I don't have anything up on here, but on my other profile I had up a few Vampire stories (Not the Trueblood/Twilight kind) and some dystopic-fantasy stuff. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things, though.

My biggest literary influences are R.A. Salvatore and Stephen King, specifically his Dark Tower series, as well as the general Steampunk/Victorian aesthetic, with philosophy thrown in to spice it all up.

Oh, cool! I had a fun vampire film phase not long ago: Let the Right One In, What We Do In the Shadows, Thirst, etc.

Sounds good! I haven't read a lot of steampunk/Victorian, unless it's a film or graphic novel, but I think it's a more visual genre anyway. :) Have you ever read 'Dune'? I'm wondering if I should read it sometime.
