Money Can't Buy It All

Rebecca nodded her head and thought for a minute. "Is it scary?" she asked. She'd lived a sheltered life. She hadn't seen a lot of the bad things that took place in the world because her parents kept her from them. They shielded her from things and a lot of the time when she asked questions, they wouldn't answer. Most of the stuff she knew was from stories on the internet and the movies and things she heard at school from other people. But she wanted to know more. She wanted to see things she'd never seen or experienced before.

Hey I'm so sorry I've been gone I've had a lot going on the past few months.

Ricky shrugged. "Depends on who you are. I've stared down the barrel of a gun with no fear. You however would probably not feel the same way." He said and shrugged. "But it can also be terrifying, gang figgts or wars. Innocent people get shot, or someone you love and you think you could lose them, that's scary." He said softly. In the downtown area it happened a lot, every day there was a new story about a gang fight or shooting,someone injured in almost every single one. Ricky could tell she didn't know much. She seemed nice, he didn't want to scare her off by telling her everything.
