Nickeli blushed. "Well they guys will have to listen to you for that but at least you could be the person that starts people dancing. They all saw that. Besides what better way to travel?" he asked shifting nervously. She said yes and he beamed. "Yes?" he asked and laughed as she said it again. He pulled her to him into a hug before he lifted her. He laughed and then grew embarrassed again. He set her down and smiled. "Umm well you need a bag of cloths and some bathroom stuff. "I can help you pack... if you want." he said getting a funny feeling about her father.

"Friday the 13th?" Carmine asked and blushed. She wasn't one that really believed in superstition. She beamed though as he said the sweetest thing. She felt like she was getting teary eyed though. "You really think that?" she whispered holding his hand tighter because for a second she was scared. When he said yes she beamed more and tossed her arms around him hugging his neck and kissed his cheek. "Well maybe all you need is a good luck charm then." she said knowing superstition only had as much power as you believed in it and if he believed then he needed a good luck charm.

Malai was so happy! Finally, a way out. For that brief while he was holding her, she had forgotten where she was. As much as she liked being in his arms, she was relieved when he put her down, because if her dad saw that...she'd be in trouble...

She was glad he had offered to help pack. She didn't want to do it alone. It'd be too dangerous. It'd just start an argument, and it would set her dad off, and god knows what he'd do.

"Yes, please," she said, "Please come in and help me." She took him inside.

Jeff was surprised when Carmine wrapped his arms around him. He was even more so when she kissed his cheek. He could feel his face turning crimson. He chuckled, "Yeah, I do need one. Very very badly." He then looked at her. "Wait..." he began, "Are you saying you will be my good luck charm, then?"

Nickeli grinned. "Lead the way." he said and followed her inside. He saw her father standing there gapping at her like she was an alien. They got up to her room and he looked around surprised. "Umm I should ask though... How old are you?" he asked knowing his manager would really hate having to keep track of someone under 21. Nickeli didn't care really though because they had been talking about having another person join their show for a while and Nickeli felt Malai was just the person. She was so eager and that made him think she was perfect. He was sure going to hear about this later though. He held open the bags she put on the bed as she shoveled cloths and other things into them.

Carmine giggled and pulled away. She shrugged. "I mean I could really use a friend and I think maybe you could use one too so yeah if that makes me your good luck charm sure." she said and chuckled running a hand through his hair. "Come on." she said tugging on his arm playfully as she got them moving again. They needed to keep walking if they were going to make it to a place were they could call a tow truck.

"I'm 23," she answered, and as if she knew what he was thinking, she added, "You don't have to worry about looking after me. I'm a big girl." She wondered what all should she bring? Everything? No, no, she couldn't take that much with her. Plus, she didn't have that many bags. But, she would bring all of her clothes and shoes. That she had to bring. The rest of her possessions didn't matter. She gathered them all up and got some toiletries. "Okay, I'm ready," she said, beaming.

"Yeah, I agree," he replied, nodding, "We should be friends." Jeff went along as Carmine tugged him. He walked with her for sometime before they found a ice cream shop. "You think they'd let us use theirs?" he asked her. He entered the shop and looked around. He went up to the counter and asked if they could use it. After being granted permission, he asked Carmine, "Do you a towing place nearby?"

Nickeli chuckled. "Alright. But it doesn't mean we won't." he said and picked up her finished bags. "You're with us now and we take care of our own." he said realizing he had to convince his band of that. He bit his lip knowing this was going to be a hassle to put on his bike. He pulled out his phone as he neared the front door and texted the guys to meet him like a block down the street. "So you wanna say goodbye to your old man. You won't be back for a long time." he said. Nickeli didn't know what was going on but he thought he would set his thoughts and feelings aside to give her father a chance.

"I don't see why not." Carmine said and grinned. They got in and she shook her head with a shrug. "I haven't had a car in years." she said and bit her lip before taking to the guy at the counter and getting some ice-cream. She had to guess what Jeff liked but that was another one of her gifts. She could guess someone's favorite drink and dessert. That was why she use to work as a bartender until Lee made her quite because he didn't like all the guys hitting on her. Carmine should have realized he was no good then.
