Damon walked into the high school and held the strap of his backpack. He made his way through the crowded hallway and found his locker. He knew it was going to be a long school year, but this made him one step closer to graduating. He put his binders and notebooks in the locker then shut it. He glanced around before making his way to his homeroom. He knew he would see Maddox at some point today, so he didn't bother looking for him. He sat as his desk and ran his fingers through his hair.
Maddox was already at school he had soccer practice or rather training. It got him out of the house longer and he didn't really have much of a choice in the matter. He showered and quickly changed rushed off to his first class of the day stopping by his locker to grab some of the things he'd dropped off earlier that day. He smirked slightly when he saw Damon sitting at a desk and he took a seat beside him. "Hey." He stated simply with a small huff he was still a little worn out from soccer.
Damon looked over at Maddox, "Hey, how was your practice thing?" He asked. While his best friend was out playing sports and being a model teenager, Damon was focusing on photography and doing his homework. Sometimes he wondered how him and Maddox were such good friends. Damon looked up as the teacher walked in then looked over at Maddox when he realized he wasn't going to start teaching. "What are you doing later?" He asked.
@ xxKitanaxx "It was alright. Ran four miles this morning did some drills and I'm team captain." Maddox said with a simple shrug. "Hang out with you." He stated with a slight grin. It was really all he did aside from practice. Damon was easy to be around and he didn't expect anything from him and didn't freak if he failed or did something wrong. It was an opposites attract friendship for the most part but they had been friends forever.
Damon nodded, "Sure we can do something." He said. He loved having Maddox around. Sure he had a slight crush on his best friend but he would never tell him that. It would just make things weird and then he would lose him forever. Damon looked up as the teacher started talking and began to take notes. He bit his bottom lip lightly as he focused on what he was writing.
Maddox smiled at Damon's agreement though he let out a little sigh as the teacher started talking. He scribbled a few things to remember if he couldn't read his notes he could always ask Damon. He wasn't exactly paying attention to what was being said just kinda letting it flow in one ear.
When class was over Damon stood up and walked with Maddox. He was glad he was going to spend some alone time with Maddox. Damon had always had a small crush on Maddox. He was trying to look over it though and just be his friend. Maddox would never want him.
Maddox smiled as he left class with Damon. "Thank God it's over." He said with a sigh. "I can't even remember what it was about." He said looking over at Damon who looked cute no not cute not cute at all he just looked like well like he was thinking about something. "What class do you have next?" He asked trying to ignore the fact that he'd actually thought Damon was cute it wasn't like he was ugly but he wasn't gay. He didn't have a problem with Damon being gay but he wasn't.

Damon looked at him as they walked out, "I have calculus next." He said as he walked down the hallway. "It sucks so much." He said laughing. Damon looked ahead of them to watch where they were going.
"Ya math sucks." Maddox said with chuckle. "I've got biology next then after that I have gym." He said with a heavy sigh not that either bothered him to much he just liked to over exaggerate from time to time or all the time.
