Changing Me. [closed]

Savannah woke up on the morning and got dressed. She sat in her living room working on some homework she had for the weekend. She figured she should get it done so she didn't have to worry about it.

Later that night Victor, as well as many of the other athletes were all up in the countryside partying. There was beer, wine, shots, vodka, beer pong. Plenty of people were hooking up in drunk stupors. One of which was Victor, he was too drunk as well as the girl. He had at least three that he would be able to remember in the morning.

It was 2:30 in the morning when Victor decide to go home. He could barely get his keys into the ignition. Half way home his phone buzzed, he had gotten a tex from Savannah hours earlier, but his phone constantly reminded him. When his eyes left the road, he went straight into a telephone pole, going unconscious on impact.

Luckily for him a couple driving by called 911 and Victor was brought to the Hopsital, he was in and out of consciousness. During his conscious bouts he told someone to call Savannah. One nurse pitied the kid and said she would. She called the number from his phone, as soon as Savannah picked up she spoke. "Hello, I'm Stacy Fodor I work at Memorial hospital. Victor Casey just came in from a serious car accident. He kept insisting we call you."

Savannah was shocked when she heard the woman on the phone, I'm on my way." She said. She got up and got dressed in a pair of sweat pants, a tshirt, and his jacket. SAvannah walked into the hospital then found him. "Hey." She said when she saw him sitting in the bed. She walked in with her arms crossed as she stood near his bed. She wondered when his parents were and he knew that he was drinking. He was going to get in so much trouble.

Victor was bandaged up from head to toe. When Savannah came in his eyes fluttered open. He tried to smile but couldn't at the moment. With his one, somewhat good arm he patted the side next to him. He moved himself over, but with a great deal of pain and stress on his body. "I'm fucked." He mumbled and sighed. Closing his eyes again.

Savannah sat down next to him, "Did they call your parents yet?" She asked him. She knew he was going to get in trouble. She bit her bottom lip lightly when she saw the doctor come in. He talked about the fracture that Victor had in his leg and that he wouldn't be able to play any sports til it was fixed. Savannah looked at Victor, seeing him get mad. She knew he liked being able to play sports and escape from everything.

Victor shook his head at the question, he went to answer, but was interrupted but the doctor coming in. He rolled his eyes at the explanation. "Yea because I could totally play with a concussion, broken wrist, and all the other bruises and cuts I have." He snapped, cringing at his own loudness. When the doctor left Victor sighed, whimpered, and groaned from all the different pain. "My father is gone kill me. So is coach."

Savannah looked at him, "Hey everything will be okay." She said. She knew that he was upset and she didn't know how to make him feel better. She frowned as his dad walked in and began yelling at him. "What the hell were you thinking?" He snapped at his son. "Now you went and fucked up everything and you will have nothing!" He yelled. HE looked at Savannah, "She make you do this!" he yelled not caring who the girl was. Savannah bit her bottom lip lightly when his dad yelled at him then tried to involve her in it.

Victor cringed visibly when he father walked in yelling. Not only from the loudness and his concussion, but it was a habit by now. "No." He mumbled bitterly. "She didn't, she wasn't even at the party. She had texted me last so the nurses called her." He lied, trying to protect both of them from his father as much as he could. Victor looked down, trying to avoid his father's stare. "It's not like I'm out for good, I still have senior year." He said quietly.

His dad frowned, "No it does matter because now you are going to be replaced and put underneath people. You might as well just never play again!" He yelled. Savannah heard his dad calling his name and yelling about how he was worthless. She let her hand slip under the blanket on the bed and took his hand. She laced her fingers with his and waited for his dad to quit yelling at him. She watched as he walked out and sighed.

Victor frowned when his father said that, he didn't even react to Svannah taking his hand. Right before his father walked out he yelled back at him. "Fuck you! You fucking prick!" Before his eyes began watering. He quickly shut them and laid back in the bed. His entire body was tease and he was focused on not crying.

Savannah looked at him, "I'm sorry he is being like this." She said softly. She was worried about him and had never heard him yell like that. Savannah bit her bottom lip lightly as she looked around the room. She wondered what he would do now that he was hurt and couldn't play sports.

Victor just shook his head, mumbling to himself about what an idiot he had been. He balled his hands into fists and let out a desperate yell out of frustration. Victor didn't know what to do, he knew he would be screwed once he had to leave the hospital.

Savannah looked at him, "it will be okay Victor. Once you are healed everything will go back to normal." She reassured him. Savannah let her hands rest in her lap as she watched him.

"No it won't." He snapped and lifted one arm, his hand rubbing his temples. "Please turn the light off, my head is pounding." He mumbled Victor was angry, and he wasn't doing anything to hide it.

Savannah frowned as he snapped at her, "okay." She said softly. She stood up and turned off the lights for him. She wasn't one for confrontation and she didn't want to fight with him. "Um...don't worry about the rest of the project. I will finish it that way you can just focus on getting better." She explained.

Victor waved his hand in dismissal. Grumbling a bit to himself again. He tried to roll over, but cried out in pain. Staying on his back. Victor opened his eyes and looked at her. "It's late, you should get some sleep." He murmured, moving himself a bit in the bed. "I can ask for you to stay here." He said. Victor was trying to keep calm, and not get angry. But he had anger problems, stemming from his dad, and it was obvious that the pain was adding onto his stress.

SAvannah stared at him, trying to remain calm with his attitude, "Okay." She replied. She relaxed in the chair and looked at her phone. She hated that he was going through this, but she didnt want him to take it out on her either.

Victor laid back in the bed, trying to relax. "My body hurts so much." He whispered and looked over at Savannah. "I'm sorry." He murmured and yawned loudly.

Savannah looked at hi, "It's okay." She said as she crossed her arms and pulled her legs up onto the chair. She looked at the tv, glad there was something decent on to watch.

Victor went to talk, but ended up falling asleep. He looked innocent while he slept. But while he slept, the bandages, bruises, and cuts were all so much more noticeable. He would have three casts on by tomorrow. Victor didn't even resemble the person he was two weeks ago.
