Survival of the Fittest.

Tegan had grabbed a couple of the medical supplies they had left and a bottle of water. She followed Murphy outside. "Sit." She told him softly. When he did, she handed him the bottle of water. "Drink this, it'll help your throat." She says, sitting in front of him, "I'm gonna clean a couple of your cuts. Maybe while I do that, you can tell me what you know."

Bellamy wasn't sure if this was something better than hearing they were dead. Sure, that meant that they could be alive, but where? Did they leave the rest to die? Or were they ambushed and taken as prisoners? "That's strange." He says, looking around. "Seems like they were ambushed, but who.." He trails off.

Murphy hadn't ever really been fond of taking orders, but he obeyed Tegan and went ahead to sit down. "I don't know anything," he repeated with a sigh as he opened the water and took a sip. "There was only one Grounder watching me, but they took off somewhere. I don't know what happened to everybody else."

"Isn't it obvious?" Finn asked with a deep frown, "It had to be the Grounders. Who else would have done it?" Aria sighed to the words. It was the obvious conclusion to jump to, but there wasn't really any proof of it. "We can't just jump to conclusions like that, Finn," she tried to reason, but he seemed firmly set on his opinion.

Tegan looked him, believing what he said. She took one of his arms and started to carefully wash the dirt and blood off of it. She knew it was gonna hurt, but if she didn't clean it, it would get infected. "You didn't see where anyone else went?" She asked softly, grabbing another cloth with peroxide on it. She gently went over the cuts.

Bellamy agreed with Aria. "How would the Grounder's do something like this? Why would they leave without searching the entire place or taking all of our stuff? It doesn't make sense."

Murphy tried not to cringe with the way she was cleaning his arm and attempted to stay distracted with the conversation. "No," he answered with a frown. "They had my eyes covered most of the time. I only got to see when be Grounder that was watching me ran off somewhere else."

"They wouldn't have been able to search everything, though, because Tegan and I locked the latch upstairs," Aria pointed out, though this seemed to anger Finn. "You locked everybody out? What if they tried to get up there to hide?" he asked quickly.

Tegan nodded at his words and finished cleaning his arm. She let go of it, "Sorry, I know peroxide doesn't feel to good." She took his other arm, but on this one, there was only a couple of cuts on his hand. "it's just that it would be awful if they got infected."

"Hey." Bellamy said to Finn. "Relax, they didnt know what was gonna happen and they were keeping our things safe." Bellamy wasn't really upset, not everyone would be able to stay safe in there anyway. There was limited space and a huge hole in the side of it.

Murphy was fairly surprised to hear Tegan apologize to him and he couldn't help but to stare at her for a moment. Eventually, he let out a sigh. "It's fine. I've been through worse," he said simply, knowing that the Grounders had tortured him during the time that he had been banished from camp.

Aria couldn't help but to give a grateful look to Bellamy and she nodded slightly. "I'm sure they're fine, wherever they are," she said quietly, though it didn't seem to ease Finn's concern. Sighing, Aria continued, "In the mean time, we need to help Raven."

Tegan sighed, "Yeah, I heard about that." She didn't condone the decision that Bellamy and Clarke had come to. Being tortured by Grounders was probably a fate worse than death and Murphy didn't deserve that. She wasn't sure how to say she was sorry, despite it not being her decision, so she remained quiet.

Bellamy nodded and looked at Raven. "She doesn't look to good." He says, "We should try to find a place to put her where she won't be straining or hurting herself." He looks at Finn, "If you move her, pick her up carefully."

Murphy looked away, not really wanting to continue the specific topic. Instead, he tried to think of something else to say, but couldn't come up with anything specific. After a moment, he sighed quietly. "Somebody should try to find help. We'll need it if Raven wants to live," he mentioned.

"It might not be a good idea to move her. At least not without something steady, like a stretcher," Aria pointed out, "She could be bleeding internally. If we move her without having something to carry her on, it could end badly."

Tegan nodded, standing up. She looked around, hearing a rustling in the trees. She reached for the pistol she had hid in her back pocket, just in case anything happened. She held the gun firmly in her hand and walked towards the sound, slowly and quietly. Suddenly, a group of adults rushed from the brush. They were oblivious to Tegan at first, but when they noticed her, they immediately grabbed her roughly and twisted her arms behind her back. She dropped the gun and tried to not fight back, although she wanted to. "Let me go," She growled, "I thought you were gonna hurt us."

Bellamy nodded, "You're probably right. Lets go ahe-" He was cut off by the sound of yelling outside. Bellamy grabbed one of the guns and rushed outside. He noticed all of the adults coming towards them. They had Murphy and Tegan in cuffs, and were coming straight towards Bellamy and Aria, who he hadn't noticed come behind him, who was also holding a gun. "What's going on here?" Bellamy barked, his voice gruff.

Upon seeing how roughly the adults were treating Tegan, Murphy had tried to defend her. "Let her go!" he snapped before he swung at the nearest man. He managed to land the hit, but it gave the others an opportunity to tackle him and cuff his hands. When he was forced to stand back up, he glared at them before looking to Bellamy. "They attacked Tegan for no reason."

Aria frowned deeply as she stared at the group. "We're taking all of you back to Camp Jaha," one of the men announced, though Aria frowned. "Wait. You're from the Ark?" she asked before frowning, "You can't just attack and cuff them for no reason."

Tegan was highly annoyed by these adults, despite them being a part from where she came. Before, she had wanted them to be here, but now, she just wanted them to leave. "We have some one injured inside. She needs help or she's going to die." Tegan says smoothly.

Bellamy frowns, "Aria is right. There is no reason for either of them to be arrested." The guard looked at Bellamy. "Wrong," He says, "The girl held the a gun at us, the boy tried to attack us and you two are holding guns at us. Drop your weapons." The guards walk forward, ready to attack if necessary.

"If you knew the hell we've been through, you'd understand why Tegan held her gun at you!" Murphy snapped, "And I only attacked you because you attacked her for no reason other than her instinct to defend herself." His eyes narrowed in a glare, a huge part of him wanting to attack the group for being so stupid.

"They do know, though. We've informed the Ark constantly about the dangers here, so Murphy's right. Tegan had a reason to react the way she did," Aria pointed out with a frown, her hold still firm on her gun. "You said somebody's injured?" one man asked, his attention going to Tegan, "Where are they?"

Tegan let out a heavy sigh. "She's inside. She was shot in her lower back area. We couldn't move her without possibly causing damage to her spinal cord. She's lost a lot of blood," Tegan takes a deep breath, "Her wound was cleaned and wrapped tightly with a bandage." As she finishes, an adult calls to another who grabs a gurney and wheels inside. She rolls her eyes, watching as the adults watch them. She looks to Murphy, "Thanks for looking out for me."

Bellamy puts the gun down, despite that he doesn't want to. Three adult officers move towards him and push him into a wall of the Dropship. He grunts but doesn't fight against him. He can hear the three teens in the background calling out about him. One of the adults turns to them. "Sorry kids, but he's a fugitive."

Murphy was mildly surprised to hear Tegan thank him but he didn't have time to reply her because Bellamy was being shoved against the outside wall of the Dropship. He wasn't sure how to react; he and Bellamy weren't on the best terms, but he knew that Bellamy didn't really deserve that treatment. "What's all of this about?" he asked, as he hadn't been around when it was revealed that Bellamy shot Jaha.

"Jaha promised that all of our crimes would be forgiven," Aria reminded the men with narrowed eyes. "He even formally pardoned Bellamy during the video calls. None of us are fugitives anymore, including him, so you have no reason to treat him that way - especially since he isn't resisting!"

Tegan looked to Murphy, slightly confused by his question. Nearly everyone at the Dropship had learned that Bellamy had shot Jaha before sneaking onto the Dropship to take care of Octavia. "You don't know?" She asked, before she remembered the events with Wells and Murphy being banished. "Oh, sorry. I guess you weren't here when that happened. Bellamy shot Jaha before escaping to the Dropship, but as Aria said, Jaha excused him from his crimes."

The adults seemed to grumble about something before releasing Bellamy from their grasp. Bellamy pulled away from them, dusting himself off. "Now," Bellamy huffs, "Let Murphy and Tegan go, they were just trying to defend themselves. For all they knew, you were Grounders."

Murphy figured that that explained quite a bit. He had known from the beginning that Bellamy hadn't actually been part of the Guard. And Bellamy had confirmed that to him, when they had been on the same side. "I guess that explains everything, then," he mentioned before he felt the adults releasing their hold on him. Brushing himself off, he watches them release Tegan as well. In the meantime, the other adults started gathering the guns, taking the guns from them.

Though reluctant, Aria gave up her gun without much of a problem. The others had been released, after all, and she didn't want to cause more trouble for them. "We should go. This girl needs immediate medical attention," one of the men said as they wheeled out thr gurney with Raven on it and began walking. "Shouldn't we be allowed to keep the guns, then, in case there are Grounders around and try to attack? You'll need the gunpower," Aria mentioned casually.

Tegan nods at his words. "It was a topic of conversation for days." She says, "Kinda ridiculous if you ask me." Tegan pulls away from the adults grasp. "Aria is right. We need guns in case the Grounders come back." She dusted herself off, "And not to be rude, but I don't exactly think you can handle them."

"Oh, and why is that?" The adults ask, as they begin to guide the group back into the forest. "You don't know them like we do." Bellamy frowns, "Plus, you all have you're own guns. How are we supposed to defend ourselves?" He walks behind the adults as they walk through the forest. "This is their territory. You were lucky enough to not be attacked on the way here."
"Shut up kid." The adult says, silencing Bellamy.

Murphy snorted quietly as he listened to the adults, but frowned as he knew that the others had a point. If the Grounders attacked, all of those who didn't have guns were sitting ducks. They would all die and it'd be these adults' fault. "You're going to get us all killed," he pointed out, though it earned him a glare from one of the adults.

Aria only sighed, but she had to agree with Murphy, surprisingly. They would die if they ended up running into the Grounders and it would be their fault. Sighing again, she trailed behind Bellamy, wanting to keep close to him, partially because it felt safer. "If things get bad, we should take Raven and run," she suggested as quietly as she could to him.

Tegan followed behind the adults, staying towards the back. Walking through the woods put her on edge, especially because she was left nearly defenseless. "You should listen to us." Tegan says, watching the surroundings around her carefully. "Why?" The adults asked. "Because we know this place better than any of you and I'm telling you know that the Grounders will find us."

Bellamy felt incredibly frustrated with the adults. They were completely unsafe right now and this could end up getting them killed. He glances to Aria when she speaks. "That's a good idea," He whispers, "Be ready, just in case."

"Just forget it. They're not going to listen because they think they know better," Murphy said rather bitterly, frowning as he stared at the adults. "They'll see when the Grounders attack." Because it was inevitable, he was sure. They were out in the open, not safe behind the walls of the dropship. The Grounders would pick them off without a problem.

Aria nodded, figuring that it would be best to leave the fighting to the adults, if push came to shove. She doubted the adults would stand a chance if the Grounders attacked, but it would at least give her and the others a chance to get away. "I'll tell the others," she muttered before she slowed her steps to walk next to Tegan and Murphy and quickly but quietly relayed the decision.
