Why does it take so long?

Why does it take so long to delete stories? I'm having the hardest time trying to delete "Differently Abled". As you should know, I'm not a very patient person either It's something I can't help because of autism and such. Is there any reason why it takes so long? I just want to delete this story because I want to redo it and make it better. It's so frustrating since the story has two chapters already, and I don't want to just leave it there either. It would confuse readers if there are two of the same stories. D:

Edit: Looks like it finally deleted. Still, is there a reason why it takes so long though? D:

Unfortunately, there's been a serious lag on the site recently, so it takes forever to do anything XD Believe me, I know the frustration: I spent ten minutes jabbing at my phone just to accept a friend request last night.

But yeah, there's nothing you can really do about + no real explanation. It's just a hassle that's sitewide right now.

Well, at least I know it's not me. XD That's somewhat of a relief. I know Mibba will take at least five to ten minutes to upload a new story or chapter too. Other times though, it zips through.

Yeah, like what Kandi/bellamy blake said, you're not alone. XD And if there are less people online, things typically load and submit (or in this case, delete) faster than when there is more traffic. Because there are less people trying to perform a bunch of actions simultaneously. Yes It's just like when some sites' servers cannot handle the amount of traffic and end up loading things slowly or even crashing.

TL;DR Mibba has forced me to be more patient. Tongue
