Yeah, we’re alright though

Charlie sighed as she packed her clothes into boxes, "Ashton I swear to god please calm yourself. He is not going to murder me. He's the same freaking age as me. Can you stop acting like a protective older brother for a minute and just be proud of me that I'm going out there and living on my own...sort of. He seems like a really cool kid I've already met him in person and he didn't murder me then so I think I'm okay to live with him. Stop worrying." She said to Ashton over the phone, "Can you just be my best friend for five minutes and not my over bearing best friend brother. Please, Ash." She begged. He was being so over protective of her since it was her first time living on her own and she was living with a guy that she had just met. But Luke seemed like a really cool guy, "Ash he's a lot like us and I think you would like him a lot and probably think of him as like a younger brother once you two got to know each other. I'm just trying to say don't judge people before you know them."

Ashton sighed over the phone and shook his head before running a hand through his hair, "Charlie I just want you to be safe. I am happy for you and that you're finally going to be living somewhat on your own. But I just want you safe and I don't even know this kid. I'm sorry. I'm trying to be supportive but I honestly think of you like my little sister and since everything that happened with Liv you are the only girl in my life that is able to keep my mind off it. But once you move in with this guy you're going to forget all about me." Ashton whined, "Ashton Fletcher Irwin shut the hell up. I would never forget about you. You're my best friend and don't you ever forget that." Charlie said with a huff. Ashton took a breath and thought about everything that happened with Olivia. He wanted so bad to try and get her back and Charlie had been trying to get him to like make a move and try to talk to her and such. He missed her more than anything and he was helpless without her. Though of course Charlie didn't know that the lads had been trying to help him get Liv back as well but that was because Charlie didn't know the guys and the guys didn't know Charlie, and that's how he wanted to keep it.

With a book in hand Olivia made it out of her apartment and to the new coffee shop down the road from her house. The last couple of months had felt like they were never going to end, but things were actually starting to feel a little normal again. She wasn't as upset about the break up with Ashton, she was spending a little more time on herself and things she enjoyed, and she actually felt like she had time to spend with her other friends. When she'd been with Ashton it was hard to find time for anyone but him when he was home given that he wasn't home very often. But not being with him meant she had time for her other friends, the one's who'd picked her up after she fell hard on the ground thanks to the breakup. It'd been tough, though, Ashton after all had been caught red-handed with another girl in his hotel room. And even if he claimed he was sorry that didn't excuse what he did. She had been nothing but faithful to him and he couldn't do the same for her. As if it weren't hard on her too having to spend so much time away from him. Apparently though there were some people who still thought her and Ashton could be saved, though. "What'da you want Cal?" She asked once she bumped into him outside the coffee shop. "I think you should talk to him. He misses you and he's sorry Liv."

Luke would've went with Calum to make sure that he found Olivia and convince her to talk to Ashton, but well he had prior engagements. He was getting a roommate soon, one who the guys hadn't met yet. Either way though she was moving in soon and he needed to finish cleaning up the place a little bit. After all, she was a girl and while she might've been used to messy guys, really he wouldn't know, he didn't want her to think of him as a messy guy. He wanted to make a good second impression. Since well technically he'd already met her once. That didn't mean he couldn't text Calum though to make sure everything was going well with Oliva. Hey, so how are things going with Olivia? Good I hope! Because well I'm kind of sick of hearing Ashton whine about how much he misses her!

"Oh hey Charlie I can't help you move in with your roommate tomorrow. I'm so sorry to bail like this but something came up and I can't do it." Ashton blurted and Charlie nearly dropped the box she was stacking, "What the hell Ash?! I can't believe this. So it's literally just going to be me moving in by myself." She complained and sighed, "I guess I'll be fine. I don't have much stuff and my roommate told me that his friends will be there tomorrow and that they are all pretty cool so they can help me." She sighed and shrugged even though she knew he couldn't see her, "Alright I gotta go load everything into my car. Love you Ash even though you bailed on me." She teased. Once she hung up she sent a text to Luke, So my best friend just bailed on me for helping move in tomorrow so I hope that your friends don't mind helping me move in. (:

Ashton sighed after he told Charlie he wouldn't be able to help her move in the next day. He had forgotten that he and the band was supposed to hang out because apparently they hadn't done it a lot recently but Ashton knew that it was just to get his mind off of Olivia, "Alright Charlie. Love you too. I'm sorry again that I had to bail." He said before hanging up and sitting back down on his bed.

Olivia took a sip of her drink while she sat across from Calum at a table in the coffee shop. She was sure that she wasn't going to be able to lose Calum at this point so she'd figured she could just sit around him with him listen to whatever he had to say if that would get him to leave her alone. However, that didn't mean she wanted to talk to Ashton. "Look I agreed to listen to you, but that doesn't mean that I want to talk to him," she said biting her lip. "I know you're upset with him, but don't you think you could at least I don't know see him. He needs you." Calum said glancing down to his phone to shoot Ashton as quick text. I'm with Olivia at the coffee shop down the street from her apartment, and I think she wants to see you. So get here quick! "Cal I've spent the last three months trying to get over him, not let him back into my life. What on earth makes you think I'd want to see him right now? If I see him I don't know how I'd hold myself together and it isn't fair of you to put me in a position like this." She said sighing. "Maybe because you clearly still love him, you're just too afraid admit it because you're afraid he'll hurt you again. But what if he doesn't?"

After a while of making sure everything was at least somewhat ready for when his new roommate moved in the following day Luke decided to take a break from that and see if he could get ahold of Calum or Ashton to see how well their plan to get Olivia and Ashton back together was going. And even if they didn't get back together Luke was still hoping at they'd at least talk. Because this whole them not talking thing was driving him insane and he wasn't even a part of their relationship. It just sucked having one of his best friends so down in the dumps over a girl, and he wanted to do what he could to help. And yes maybe Ashton did some questionable things during the relationship, at the end of the day he loved Olivia and never would've done anything to actually hurt her on purpose.

Charlie finally finished packing and sighed, not having anything to do for the rest of the day. She figured what could be the harm in asking to hang out seeing as they would be living together as of tomorrow. She pulled out her phone and dialed his number, waiting for him to pick up. She felt that she was going to be award and hoped that he didn't have a problem hanging out with her, if he even wanted to.

Ashton looked down at his phone when he got a text from Calum before his eyes widened and he grabbed his keys and practically sprinted out to his car a sped off towards the coffee shop. He pulled into a parking space before he fixed his hair in the mirror to make sure he looked okay before he walked inside casually and went to the line, pretending to get something before looking around the shop and spotting Calum. He then exited the line walked over, "Oh hey Cal. Weird seeing you here." He said before looking over at Olivia, "Hey." He said awkwardly.

Luke answered his phone when it started to ring smiling a little to himself knowing it wasn't one of the guys. He knew that Charlie would be living with him soon so it made sense that they'd talk some and get to know one another more. And it just so happened that her calling was perfectly timed. He needed someone to talk to since he hadn't heard back from Calum, or Ashton and was assuming they were doing something to help with Ashton's whole situation. "Hey, Charlie, what's up?"

Olivia rolled her eyes when she saw Ashton walk into the coffee shop. Clearly she'd been set up, and of course Calum had to know that she wouldn't cause a scene here because they were in public and well Olivia didn't enjoy letting everyone know all about her private life. "I can't believe you," She said taking a sip of her drink. She'd put it together that Calum had clearly told Ashton she was there and probably mentioned that she wanted to see him or something to get him to come as soon as Ashton had walked through the door. "Olivia you need to talk to him, so I'm going to leave the table and let you two talk," Calum said getting up and leaving them there. "Hi," Olivia finally said looking away from the table and to Ashton, just hoping she could keep herself together long enough to make it through this.

Charlie smiled when Luke picked up the phone, she already knew that her and Luke were going to get along really well, "I was bored and wanted to know if you wanted to hang out. I just finished packing and now have nothing to do because everything is packed." She rambled. She hadn't actually hung out with Luke out in the open yet. So she was curious if it was going to be weird or something, "I know of a place a little ways away that has laser tag and I was thinking maybe we could go do that. I mean only if you want." She forced herself to shut her mouth and stop being weird. She was getting ready to live with the guy, she couldn't be weird around him like this.

Ashton wasn't sure how much Calum or Mikey or Luke had told her but he was a complete mess without her and the only thing that was holding him together was Charlie and the band. Sometimes even them couldn't keep him together at points, "I'm a wreck. I won't lie about that. But I never meant to hurt you." He said.

(wasn't sure if you wanted me to include that he didn't actually do what she thinks yet or not so I just left it out for the time being.)
