Micheal could feel his heart in his throat as the couple continued to make out. He had been told kissing was one of his strong suits, so he was confident in this. His hands moved as carefully as his lips did. His breath almost caught in his throat a few times because he couldn’t believe the feelings he had. When Kaylynn pulled away he swallowed hard and nodded, though slightly disappointed. He grinned when she told him he was intoxicating. “Oh you.” He said with a laugh. “I’ll get you love drunk.” He teased and moved away so Kaylynn had some room, just offering his hand out to her. “Yea we can go chill and relax.” He commented and began to walk back. “Just let me know when I have to bring you home.” He told her with another smile.

Bailey knew Brett liked her, maybe more than a friend. She felt the same way too. But she also knew she felt something for Royce as well. She was very conflicted in her own mind. But she had come here with Royce and she felt it was wrong to abandon him. Bailey smiled at Brett and nodded. “I’ll be smart, don’t worry Brett.” She told him.

Bailey laughed and rolled her eyes playfully at Royce. “Oh yea?” She said and took the quiche and popped it into her mouth. “Can a quiche kiss as good as I do?” She asked teasingly, walking her fingers up Royce’s chest. Bailey reached into her pocket and showed him the pictures. “Wanna take some together?” She asked and smiled. “Or go dance again?” She said and smiled, leaning close to Royce.

Kaylynn chuckled thinking it was to late, she was already drunk on him but she wouldn't say as much. She was both grateful and disappointed as he gave her room to breath. She took some time before she nodded ready to go back the worst of her blush having disapaited and her breathing more steady. She took his hand as he offered it and moved back to the fire with him. "We have a little while longer but you'll have to check your phone. I left mine in your car." She said. Kaylynn smiled seeing a lot of the people had gone inside and she sat on one of the logs by the fire with Royce. She snuggled into his side hugging his arm sweetly and her head rested on his shoulder. Someone brought out a guitar and someone else sang a few others singing along. She would love to do something like this over the summer. Maybe she could get Sam and Brayton and maybe Micheal to go on a camping road trip with her this summer. She would wait to see what happened. It was to soon to start making huge plans with Micheal. She was just starting to wrap her head around the fact they they were in a relationship. She was going to have to make sure that it was exclusive but she needed to be careful how she asked that of him. She didn't want him to think she didn't believe his affection for her.

Royce beamed deviantly at her. "Hmm I don't know. You havent kissed me in a while so, you might need to kiss me again so I can remember." He teased hopeful she would kiss him again tonight. He grinned at the photos disguising his feeling about the ones of her alone with Brett. "Cute." He said and smiled tenderly as she asked if he wanted to do some with her. He wanted a picture of them so why was he hesitating on it. She then suggested dancing and he shook his head. "I want one of those for myself." He nodded to the pictures as she put them away. "After you my lady."

Micheal smiled big as he and Kaylynn moved back towards the fire, nodding when she mentioned his phone. He stood besides her with his arm around her waist, eyes scanning the area. When someone got up he gently tugged on Kaylynn’s hand. He moved to the seat and sat, allowing Kaylynn to sit in his lap again. Micheal grinned and held her, his proud grin shining to everyone around them. He hummed along quietly as others sang and played music. Micheal checked his phone and let Kaylynn know they had about half an hour before they had to head out. Noticing a text from Rachel he rolled his eyes and put the phone away. Micheal smiled at Kaylynn, he was wondering if they were officla now. But didn’t want to ask in front of a bunch of people in fear for being rejected.

Bailey grinned and playfully rolled her eyes when he said she hadn’t kissed him in a while. “Maybe if you’re lucky.” She teased and playfully tapped his chest. “Let’s go.” She told Royce excitedly, taking his hand and leading him to the photo booth. Bailey waited outside patiently for the couple inside to leave. Once they did she slid into the booth and pulled Royce in with her. Bailey kissed Royce’s cheek for the first photo, smiling at him afterwards.

Kaylynn followed him to the chair and blushed as she sat in his lap again. She snuggled into his arms feeling safe there. She could feel his affection as he held her and the way he would unconsciously nuzzle against her. She loved to hear him humming along to the songs. The rumble of his chest vibrating through her. Micheal checked his phone and she smiled hearing his voice in her ear. She turned to look up at him and nodded. "Okay let's go." she said wanting some time to talk with him before she had to be inside her house anyways. She stood and took his hand as they headed back to his car. They got inside and she buckled up checking to make sure her mom hadn't texted or called. She set her phone down and looked over at Micheal. "I had an amazing night." she smiled softly at him as he started the drive back to her house. "We started to talk earlier about us..." she said and blushed softly. She hoped he knew where she was taking this.

Royce beamed as he followed her. He moved into the booth with her placing his arm over her shoulder. He smirked as she kissed his cheek then looked over at her with a sweet smile. "Tease." he said then made a face at her so she would laugh. They had a few funny faces and then it was over. He got out with her and let her take the photos out. He looked over her shoulder at them. "Those are keepers." he said and took the extra one putting it in his jacket. "Want to dance?" he asked her and moved around to her side.

Micheal was enjoying the night. He had never realized how much more he could enjoy parties when he wasn’t drunk. Sure they were more fun that way, but this way just felt more intimate and real. When Kaylynn told him she was ready to go he nodded, waving goodbye to a few of his friends, he took her hand and followed Kaylynn through the house and outside to his car. Micheal slid into the drivers seat. He started the car when he heard Kaylynn speak, turning his head and looking at her. At her words, his cheeks flushed pink. “Yea, we kinda got interrupted.” He said and smiled slightly. Micheal began to drive, his eyes shifting from the road to her. “What are you thinking?” He asked nervously.

Bailey smiled and laughed with Royce. She was having a good time with him, it was hard not to, he was a fun guy to be around. When she got out she took hers and slid it into her pocket, handing the other one to royce. “Leads the way, hot shot.” She told him, taking his hand and following alongside Royce to the dance floor. As they got there, a slow song started playing. Bailey blushed, but wrapped her arms around Royce’s neck. Blushing as they danced closely.

Kaylynn blushed as he asked her what she thought. She looked out the window. "Uhh well," she started nervously, her voice breathless. "If we both want something serious then we should date exclusively and plan for a long term relationship." She spoke softly then looked at him. "What where you thinking?" She asked him. She felt like her stomach was trying to escape her body either through her throat or just straight out of her gut, whichever was most effective. Her heart fluttered because this was a serious conversation. Hopefully the first of many for them. She knew deciding to start a serious relationship was the easy part. She had never been in a serious relationship and he had been in a lot of relationships. They would have to figure this out together. She knew parts would be rough but she also hoped that there would be amazing moments too. She felt like she had seen glimpses of that already in their little moments. She knew Micheal could be supportive and she wanted to support him too which was important if they planned to grow together.

Royce lead her onto the dance floor. He smiled softly as the slowing started. He spun her and then pulled her close feeling her arms come around his neck. He founs himself relaxing with her in his arms. He beamed proud that she was his date and in his arms. He leaned his head on her taking in her sent. She was stunning and amazing. He had no idea what she was doing with him but he wanted to stick around to find out. He was a fly by the seat of his pants. His decisions changed easily with his emotions but he wanted yo know why with her.

Micheal smiled as he listened to Kaylynn, the blush still playing on his cheeks. He nodded. “I agree.” He said and reached over to take her hand in his, interlacing their fingers. Micheal had never felt things like this before. He wasn’t really sure where to go from here. He wasn’t sure how much he liked the feelings but he was sure that he liked Kaylynn. He swallowed hard and took a few breaths. “I think the same.” He told her. Micheal pulled up in front of Kaylynn’s house, looking over at her. “But what does that mean?” He said nervously. Micheal wasn’t one for serious relationships, so he really wasn’t sure what that would entail. He smiled and leaned over, kissing her cheek. “My 18th birthday is soon, we should go to dinner or something.” He offer, though Micheal knew she would be busy preparing for the recital.

Bailey was grinning, laughing, blushing, and just having a good time with Royce. She was happy to have a fun night out. When the music changed to something faster she continued to dance alongside Royce. She knew she enjoyed her time with him, but she wasn’t sure how far she wanted to take this with him or how much she trusted him. Bailey knew Brett was worried for her in this situation. “You look like you’re actually having fun.” She teased. “You always look so serious.

Kaylynn chuckled nervously and shook her head. "I don't know." She squeezed his hand gently. "I guess it means we figure it out together. That we share things and support one another and deal with the hard things. We'll figure it out as we go but I know this only works if we talk to one another and don't hide our feelings towards each other." She said. When he told her about his birthday she beamed. "Yes defiantly." She grinned. "We can invite your friends to do something over the weekend too, like a bbq if you like." She said wanting him to feel special and like she wanted to be a part of his life. She knew she would be busy but she would make time for Micheal. That was part of the deal. "Is there anything else we need to talk about tonight?" She asked not wanting to leave but knowing she had to go inside for curfew. "Tomorrow you want to go on my morning run with me?" She asked. She had been serious about running together when she offered a while ago.

Royce grinned. "I am having fun. If I seem serious to you then you should have dinner with my parents." He didn't think he was always serious but then he didn't talk much and thought a lot. "Besides..." He leaned in speaking into her ear. "Your on my turf now." He grinned a wicked smiled. After more dancing he took her hand leading her outside. "Damn it's hot in there." He pulled off his jacket.

Micheal listened intently as she nodded, chuckling nervously. “Yea I guess that sounds about right.” He admitted, shrugging slightly. He was nervous because of this being his first, but also worried about a few of his exes. There were two, one of which was Rachel, that he had been somewhat serious with. Well, as serious as a high school relationship could be. A few months together, the rest he didn’t worry about because they were just flings. He smiled. “Yea we could do something like that. Not my place though.” He paused trying to think of an excuse. “Renovations, y’know.” He said and grinned. “I mean, I guess just.” He paused and grinned at Kaylynn. “Kay, will you officially be my girlfriend?” He asked playfully. He knew this was what they talked about but he wanted to ask and make it official. “Sure, what time should I be over?” He asked. Micheal leaned across and kissed Kaylynn gently. “You should head in.” He murmured with a small frown.

Bailey smiled up at Royce, playfully rolling her eyes when he mentioned his parents. “Well then introduce me to them.” She said and kissed his cheek. Bailey’s cheeks flushed red when he whispered in her ear and she playfully batted at his arm. Bailey was almost relieved when Royce took her outside. She wiped a small bead of sweat from her forehead. “Yea it was. But the breeze is nice tomight.” She commented and leaned her back up against the wall, eyes moving up and down Royce.

Kaylynn tilted her head to the side then nodded. "Yeah I was thinking a park. Less clean up." She said. Kaylynn was curious what else they needed to say and when he asked she smiled amusement in her eyes and delight. "Yes." She chuckled happily. "Is six to early for you? I have rehearsal at eight and I want to get in breakfast and a shower." Kaylynn smiled as they agreed and watched him lean in. He kissed her tenderly which amused her. "Is that the first kiss you give your girlfriend?" She asked playfully and gave his tie a little tug pulling his lips back to hers. She kissed him deeply her fingers moving into his hair and only sat back when her head was swimming. She bit her lip and nodded. "I'll see you tomorrow." She said and pulled off his jacket gathering her extra photos and her phone. She kissed his cheek. "Thank you for this amazing night." She said before she slipped from the car. Kaylynn walked up to her door turning and waving before going inside. She felt like the blush on her cheeks wouldn't go away.

Royce grinned wickedly. "They will be in town next weekend so I'll set it up and send you the invite." He chuckled already seeing his mom's reaction to her boots. Royce looked up at the stars standing there next to Bailey jacket slung over his shoulder. He didn't want to tell her how she should dress but he didn't want her to feel underdressed either. He would worry about that later. He couldn't wait to get out of this town and all the solitude. "There is a party after the dance did you want to go? Or I can take you back to my place or home." He offered not wanting to assume she was staying out.

Micheal nodded. “Six works.” He said and grinned. He was glad to get out of the house early, before his dad woke up. “I’ll probably go to the gym after, start bulking up.” He commented. Micheal’s lips were smiling into her kisses, hand gently caressing her cheek as they did. He didn’t want the kids to end. Micheal wasn’t sure why, but when kissing her, he felt like he couldn’t stop. It was like a magnetic grip on him. Micheal grabbed his jacket from her, tossing it into the backseat as he watched her walk up to the house. He waved, waiting until he saw Kaylynn go inside to drive off. Micheal drove home, sighing when he saw the kitchen light on. He knew his dad would be awake.

Bailey nodded with a smile. “I’m guessing I should dress nice.” She teased, her fingers walking up his chest. “They probably don’t look too kindly on people like me.” She said nervously, biting her lip for a second. She quickly shook it off, wanting to enjoy her time with Royce. “The party sounds fun. I just wanna spend time with you.” She said and smiled at him. “Plus, like you said it’s our turn in your territory.” She teased, moving her hand down his chest.

Kaylynn woke the next morning dressing for her run with Michel in her usual jogging pants and sports bra. She grabbed two water bottles And looked at the time. She walked out front locking up the door before she started to stretch as she waited for Micheal to show. She kept thinking about last night and his hands on her. She pulled out her phone reading the message from Sam. What happened last night with Micheal? Kaylynn quickly texted back. What are you talking about? Sam sent her a video of her and Micheal as they made out last night in the woods. "What the fuck?" Kaylynn mummered. Who sent this to you? Kaylynn's mind raced wondering how many people saw this. Brayton showed me told me it was going around the team. They said you slept together. Kaylynn stared at her phone. Micheal would do this right? What?! No we didn't. All we did was kiss. She tested Sam and then looked at the time. Where was Micheal? She wondered if he got the video too or if... Kaylynn stopped her thoughts refusing to think he had any thing to do with this.

Royce shook his head and looked over at her. "A dress wouldn't hurt but I don't want you to do something different to fit in." He shrugged and dropped the subject. It seemed they both were stereotyping a little. Royce smiled as she agreed to the party and being on his turf. " You know I'm curious. Are you gonna hang out with me after tonight like this? He asked. He wondered how she would answer. He wasn't unaware of her games.

Micheal woke up early, glad his father was asleep when he got up. He dressed in simple clothes, basketball shorts and a sweatshirt with the arms cut off. He figured he would leave his car at Kaylynn’s and they’d run back at her place. He moved to his car, sitting for a moment he pulled out his wallet. Micheal pulled a photo of a woman from it, running his thumb over her face and sighing softly. He wanted to tell Kaylynn about his mom. He knew that an important part of relationships was telling people about your vulnerabilities. But he would wait. He slid the picture back into his wallet and sent Kaylynn a text letting her know he was on his way. Micheal pulled up in front of Kaylynn’s house. He parked the car. He slid out and locked it, walking over to Kaylynn. He smiled happily at her. “Hey baby.” He murmured, frowning when he noticed the frown on her face. “What’s going on Kay?” He asked and reached out to take her hand.

Bailey nodded, smiling slightly when he told her that he wanted her to be comfortable. “I’ll make sure not to dress too country.” She said and smiled. Bailey was nervous it didn’t show it. She didn’t know what to expect from his parents. Bailey raised and eyebrow at Royce’s question, she stood straight and moved forward, hugging him. Bailey gently buried her face in his chest. “Royce. I’m not using you.” She said with a small laugh. “I do plan to continue whatever it is that we have going on. As long as you feel the same, and you don’t do anything stupid.” She teased and looked up at Royce, standing on her tip toes to kiss him.

Kaylynn turned hearing Micheal and relaxed a little her eyes worried. She took his hand and scrolled up the video. "Sam sent this to me. She said Breyton got it from the other football guys. She says that people are saying we slept together." she said as he watched it. She watched his face to see how he would react to the video. He seemed just as surprised as she was to see it and she relaxed more glad that little voice in the back of her head could go away now. He hadn't orchestrated the video or distributing it. Kaylynn nipped at her bottom lip. She didn't want to spend a ton of time on this now that she knew Micheal didn't do it she felt better though it still upset her that someone would do this to the both of them. It was a manipulative move aimed at trying to upset her against Micheal but going into this relationship she had sore to herself to do her very best not to jump to accusing Micheal and not to assume the worst. She knew with his reputation that there would be those trying to ruin what they where building after all, it was high school.

Royce was surprised as she moved over to him making this a much more tender moment than he had meant for it to be but as much as it terrified him it also soothed something inside of him. He wrapped his arms around her as she pressed into his chest. He smirked as she said she wasn't using him. He didn't know about that but what she said next he did believe. "Anything stupid huh? Like seeking out of school to drive up to the haunted tunnels?" he asked teasingly though not that sounded like a great idea and taking Bailey with him. She came closer and he leaned down his lips meeting hers. He scooped her up so her toes barely touched the ground as he kissed her deeper. It was several moments later that he returned her to her feet and let their lips part. "Yep your kisses are defiantly better than fancy quiche."

Micheal raised an eyebrow as Kaylynn spoke, taking her phone and watching. He furrowed his brow as he watched it, shaking his head as he handed it back. “I didn’t do this.” He said quickly. “I never talked to anyone about last night, I swear.” He said. Micheal pulled out his phone end unlocked it, holding it out to her. “You can check. I didn’t do this.” He told her. Micheal was nervous. He didn’t know what Kaylynn thought. She could think he did this to keep up his facade, and he didn’t want that. Micheal took his phone back from Kaylynn after a moment. “I think I know who might have done it.” He admitted and rubbed the back of his neck. “My guess is Rachel, the one who interrupted us in the kitchen last night.” He told her.

Bailey gasped against Royce’s lips when she felt him pick her up, but continued to kiss him until he pulled away and set her down. “They better be.” She teased with a smirk. “Or else you wouldn’t be getting anymore.” She said with a wink. “You wanna sneak out?” She asked with a quizzical look. “Sounds dangerous and fun. Plan a time and maybe I’ll tag along.” She offered. “Let’s go back inside I wanna dance with you a little more.” She said and she began to lead Royce back inside, purposely swaying her hips a little extra as she walked inside with him.

Kaylynn took her phone and was putting it in her pocket looking up at Micheal as he started to panic over it and what she thought. "I didn't think that you did." she said and placed her hands over his. "I mean a little part of me did but once I saw you watch it..." She watched him as he handed his phone to her and she frowned taking it looking at it just because she wanted no doubts. Not that he couldn't erase things but she had already made up her mind. She handed it back. "Micheal. I know you didn't." she said and stepped closer watching the nerves run over him. She placed her hands on his chest. She tilted her head as he talked about who could have done it. She frowned thinking over last night and putting together how the girl had acted and frowned nodding. "Okay... so what do we do?" she asked him and ran her hands down his arms. "We can't deny it, that will never work." she said. The only way that might work would be if they painted Rachel as the jealous ex spreading rumors.

Royce chuckled as she liked his idea. He made a mental note to make that happen here soon. She was tying to play hard to get but he knew she would come with him if he asked her too. After all he took school serious so she knew that it would be a big thing for him too. He chuckled more as she talked about dancing with him and he nodded. "Yes sweets, whatever you say." he teased and laced his fingers with hers watching her hips as she sashayed inside. Once inside he moved to the dance floor with her and spun her pulling her back to him as the song played his hands on her hips as he looked down catching her eyes with a grin.

Micheal was relieved when Kaylynn said she believed him. He took his phone back and slid it into his pocket. With her hand on his chest he put his hand over hers, the other hand wrapping around her waist and holding Kaylynn. He smiled and rested his forehead against hers, closing his eyes and taking a breath to calm down. He kissed her forehead as he thought. “I dunno.” He admitted with a shrug. “I’m not used to dealing with a jealous ex, cause usually I don’t have to worry about a relationship.” He said and bit his lip. “Oh that part.” He said and again shrugged. “I dunno, Kay. People aren’t gonna believe us if we deny it. I don’t know what else can be done, honestly.” He told her. He wouldn’t give up but he really didn’t know of a remedy for this. “What do you think?”

Bailey giggled at him calling her sweets. She liked the pet names between the two, wondering how he felt about being called hot shot. Once inside she easily began to dance alongside Royce. Her body moving against his when the song permitted, and somewhat away other times. She was giggling and grinning the whole time. At one point Bailey pressed her body up against Royce’s and looked up at him. “Well, hot shot, you certainly know how to have fun.” She teased, knowing the dance would end soon and they would enter a whole new arena, one that Royce would truly excel at.

Kaylynn loved the way he held her. He held her like she was the most precious thing he had ever touched and it always made her soft in his hands. She hadn't even thought if Rachel would keep making problems for him. She nodded realizing her reputation was ruined permanently. Kaylynn shook her head. "Anything I can think of that might work is not something I feel comfortable doing. I wont hurt others because they are cruel." she said and shook her head kissing his cheek. "Come on let's stretch and run we don't have a ton of time to mess around this morning." she said surprised Sam had been up this early and Micheal's team too. She smiled and pulled away starting to stretch. "I know I will meet your friends at your birthday BBQ but maybe I should meet the team sooner. It would help to have them on our side." she said knowing the jock mentality. "Do you think I could come to a practice one day after school?" she asked him.

Royce laughed. "No one every told me I had any problem with fun except you Bailey." he said and bumped her chin playfully with his thumb. They spent the rest of the dance enjoying each other's company and the dance activities. When the dance was over he lead her back to his car and helped her in along with her dress. He got in the drivers seat and looked over at her. "Want to get some tacos first or go straight to the party?" he asked her because who didn't want tacos after a dance? Plus it would be fun to help keep her dress clean. Royce buckled up and started up his car ready to go where she directed.

Micheal looked down lovingly at Kaylynn. He felt the way she melted into him, he melted the same way for her. He truly felt bad for the fact that Kaylynn’s reputation was different now. “I mean, as long as we stay together and are open about it that could help.” He said. “Like if that went around and then we stopped all contact it would just seem like another one of my conquests. But I think the blow will lessen when people see it’s not just that because we’re still together. I’m not moving on, y’know?” He explained, hoping his words made sense. Micheal nodded in agreement and began to stretch, though his eyes moved up and down Kaylynn’s body as she did, he licked his lips for a second before shaking that away. “Sure yea, I mean plenty of the girlfriends hang around the field. It could be good fo you to get in with them.” He offered. “They don’t seem like your type of friends though. But it can’t help to have the hot popular girls take you under their wing.” He said and stood tall. Micheal was ready to run. Micheal waited for Kaylynn and then began to run alongside her.

Bailey laughed and rolled her eyes playfully, smiling when he touched her Chin. “You just seem like you’re having genuine fun.” She told him. “Rather than acting like you’re having fun and fooling everyone. I can read you, y’know.” She said and tapped his chest. Bailey soon followed royce to the truck, grateful he helped her in. “Oooh tacos sound so good.” She told him. “You sure know your way to a girls heart.” She teased him again. Bailey smiled across at Royce as he drove. She wanted nothing more than to cuddle up to him at the moment. But she knew they could later, hopefully.

"Yeah I can see that." Kaylynn liked that he said he wasn't moving on. She wanted to hear him say it again but it would have to wait. Kaylynn laughed as he talked about the jock's girlfriends. She wrinkled her nose. "Yeah I don't think they would be. I don't know about that but maybe we can find something in common." she said and started to run with him working up from a light jog into longer strides. "Maybe they can teach me how to be your cheerleader while your on the field." she said and shoved his arm lightly. She ran lightly at first until they where about half way. "Want to make a bet?" she asked him. They slowed to take a water break and she looked over at him her grin gleaming. "I bet I can outrun you and I'm willing to barging a prize over it." she walked backwards and took another drink. "If I win you have to give me your hoodie, no take backs. And you have to wear it to get your sent on it anytime I ask." she said smirking.

Royce rolled his eyes. "Sure ya can." he smirked though he wasn't sure if she was right. She did keep a lot of things close to the chest. When she was glad for the taco run he smirked. "I know just the place with the best tacos and horchata." he smiled and pulled out of the parking lot. "So Bailey how's the new calf?" he asked remembering her telling him a while ago about the baby cow she was helping to deliver. He knew talking animals soothed her and he wanted her to be feeling confident when they went tot he party. He knew yet again he wouldn't be able to drink, and this time more so since they wouldn't be staying late enough for him to sober up. Still this was his turf and he planned to make the most of the mood lighting and steal more kissed from her nectar lips.
