Micheal unrolled his window, his arm rested on the door and he leaned into it as he drove. He kept one hand on the wheel, his eyes occasionally glancing from the road to Kaylynn as he drove. He knew she couldn’t see his eyes. He wasn’t sure where to go or what to eat, he figured anything would be fine with her. Micheal headed to Chic-Fil-a, it was close enough to school that he could bring her back if she wanted. He parked and continued to listen to Kaylynn, both hands now on the wheel and tapping his fingers on it. He glanced down at her hand on his leg, raising an eyebrow to himself. Micheal sighed as she said she wanted to look at him. He didn’t want her analyzing him abs his emotions. He didn’t like it, he wasn’t some set of data. But he obliged, turning abs looked at her through the glasses. Micheal took the toothpick out of his mouth, again raising an eyebrow at her. “Okay.” He said and rolled his shoulders. “What do you want me to say?” He asked her. Micheal pointed his toothpick at her. “Don’t act like you know me. Sure maybe I’m not fine but that doesn’t mean anything is wrong.” Micheal felt his temper flare suddenly and he looked away. “Let’s get our food.” He said and quickly got out of the car. He didn’t want to take his anger out on Kaylynn, she didn’t deserve that. He went inside and walked up to the line in front of the register.

Beau hoped that his advice for Royce would help. He wasn’t sure what happened, or if Bailey would tell him. But he liked how happy Royce made her and wanted them to work it out.
Bailey noticed Royce had really left school when she didn’t see him anywhere through the day. She wasn’t surprised. He had been acting so weird. She and Brett went to practice. She put her full mind and body into it. Not wanting to think about Royce and how different he was acting. When she was done she headed home. Bailey immediately went into the bathroom. She knew her parents would ask about her day and she wasn’t quite ready to tell them yet.
