Adaline stood on the beach. She let the waves that reached shore get her feet wet. She loved being near the water, it soothed her. She was thankful Finnick had agreed to do some training here. At least it would help keep her attitude at bay; well hopefully. The sunlight was trying to break through the dark clouds but she knew it would be dark for at least another hour. Finnick had said something to her about not wanting people to know. She didn't listen to him much. Hearing his voice made her nauseous. She knew it wasn't him but then again people do change.

Cato had just woken up. He decided to take a stroll around the district before he went to career training. It was almost a daily routine by now. He had an ulterior motive as to why this was now a daily ritual. He always ended up by the victory village. There was a certain victor, Nicolette, whom Cato was infatuated with. He continued his walk, grabbing a bite to eat on his way. He smiled when the houses came into view. Being in district two, he was used to having very nice things, as was the district. But the victory village was beautiful. It looked as if it were straight from the Capitol. He lingered there for a few minutes; hoping to get a glance of her.
