heat of the moment.

  • Dean opened the doors to the mausoleum and walked inside, opening Miranda's casket. He poured in the salt, then the lighter fluid, and torched the bones. He walked out, looking at the two girls and then at Sam. "Who're you two?" he asked. Clearly the one girl knew who Miranda was, and the other one seemed to be a hunter. Or at least she knew how to off a ghost. Someone could have easily told her how to do that.
Ana pulled Willow close to her, as if to protect her from the two men. "I could ask you the same thing," she said. She tossed the iron bar aside, sighing softly. She hadn't met a lot of hunters, to be honest. Her parents were hunters, but those were the only other hunters she knew, and they were dead.

  • "It doesn't matter who you are or who we are," Willow stated. "Just help my cousin rest in peace and leave." She was still freaked out from seeing the ghost of her cousin and all the brunette wanted was for Miranda to be resting in peace again. Her cousin had already died an extremely horrible and shitty way, she deserved to be in heaven with her father and grandparents. She watched as the taller of the two men began looking for the tomb marked as Miranda's.
The brunette who was apparently Miranda's cousin silently told Sam which one was her coffin and he pried it open with the piece of iron the other girl had. He struggled a bit but managed to open the coffin, salting the body and let Dean douse it in gasoline before torching it with a pack of matches. He looked at both women, assuming Willow's friend was a hunter since she knew about how iron temporarily gets rid of ghosts. "We're hunters," he stated. "I'm Sam and this is my brother Dean."

  • Dean looked at Sam, sighing softly. He forced a smile, tilting his head to the side in a sarcastic manner. It wasn't very usual for them to find a female hunter. In fact, the last one he could really remember was Jo. Sure, there were others, but he'd met them years ago. "You two hunters?" he asked. He wasn't sure about the one girl, but the other clearly knew what she was doing.
Ana nodded. "I'm Ana," she mumbled. "Her name is Willow." She looked at Dean, rolling her eyes at him. "I'm a hunter, she isn't. I made sure she didn't get sucked into the life, and I'd like to keep it that way." She began leading her friend back to the car, hoping she was okay after all of this.

  • Willow pulled away from Ana and walked back over to the two hunters. She stood in front of them both awkwardly, unsure of how to thank them. "Thanks," she mumbled. "If you want food before you guys leave town just follow Ana's car." She walked back over to her friend, finding herself looking back at the hunters. The shorter one was attractive but she knew she didn't stand a chance because he probably would expect sex and that was one thing she didn't plan on giving away to someone who was going to disappear soon.
"Ana's pretty protective if Willow," Sam noted. "I wonder how they met." From the look of the two of them his guess was Ana either grew up in town with Willow or they became friends when she stopped in town, either way he thought Ana was gorgeous. "Its rare to find a female hunter," he mumbled. "Wonder if it was the family buisness like it was for us."

  • Dean nodded. "Probably was," he said, reaching out to pat Sam on the shoulder. "I call dibs on hazel eyes." He grinned as he walked towards the impala, having a strong feeling that he might be getting some tonight. But then again, he always had a strong feeling about that. He climbed into the car, waiting for Sam before he started it, following the girls out of the cemetery.
Ana climbed into the car and looked over at Willow, shaking her head. "I know what you're thinking," she said. "We don't make attachments, Willow." It was the one golden rule she'd always taught her friend about hunters. You never make attachments. Because once you do, you were never able to let go. You were sucked in. And once you were sucked in, it was inevitable that you were going to end up losing that person and be hurt.

  • "I don't want an attachment," Willow stated. "I want a night of some fun and him to be gone in the morning." She just hoped any fun she ended up getting into didn't mean she woke up hungover and not a virgin anymore. Of course the brunette wanted to lose her virginity but she didn't want it to be lost to a stranger who wouldn't appreciate her or what had happened. "What about you," she asked. "The taller one was making googley eyes at you. Do you plan on hooking up with him?"
Sam rolled his eyes at his brother's comment. Why was he surprised his brother was thinking with his crotch. His brother was very much a man's man, whatever the hell that meant. Of course Sam knew what that term meant but he never really understood why being a whiskey drinking, burger eating man whore was some big goal to achieve.

  • Dean glanced over at his brother. "What about you, Sammy?" he asked. "You need to have a little fun, pull that stick out of your ass." He smirked, shaking his head as he reached down to turn the radio up. He hummed along to it as he drove, following Ana's car down the road into the parking lot of the diner. He parked his car, turning the radio down and cutting the engine. "Let's go."
Ana raised an eyebrow. "Googly eyes?" she questioned, shaking her head. "He was hardly making googly eyes at me. I don't plan on hooking up with anyone. I plan on having a good time with my friend, like I planned on when I came down here. You know, besides all the ghost hunting." She smiled sheepishly at her friend. "Sorry I didn't tell you as soon as I got here. I thought I could take care of it without you even knowing."

  • "If you had told why you were really here earlier maybe Leann would still be alive," Willow stated. She knew that Leann had died a couple days after Ana had showed up and if part of reason her friend was here was because of Miranda then she should have told her. She expected her friend not to keep everything from her. Willow knew some things were more a hunter need to know but a ghost in her town was something she should have needed to know about.
Sam rolled his eyes at his brother for what seemed like the tenth time today as he climbed into his usual passenger seat in the impala. He buckled up and looked from his brother to the car the girls were getting into. Sam chuckled when he saw Ana getting into the driver's side of a vintage mustang. He was horrible with years but he would guess it was probably the same year as the impala.

  • Ana frowned, sighing heavily. "I didn't know your friend would die, Willow," she said. "I can't go around town asking who's a virgin and who isn't." She drove to the diner, parking her car and climbing out. She didn't even wait for Willow, she just walked inside and got them a booth. She sat down, rubbing her face. This was another thing she hated about being a hunter. Watching people die when you know there was probably something you could have done about it. It sucked.
Dean climbed out of the car and walked in with his brother, sitting at the booth that Ana had picked out. He smiled at her friend when she joined them, reminding himself not to seem too eager. He already knew what he wanted, a big juicy burger with bacon. He didn't have to look at the menu.

  • Willow sat opposite of where Ana sat like she normally did. When the other hunters showed up Dean sat next to her and Sam sat next to Ana. The brunette knew she wanted a burger and some onion rings. It was her favorite meal the dinner had. She always got it with a cherry coke and a chocolate milkshake. It was definitely a fattening and somehow unhealthy meal so she tried to make sure she didn't get it to often.
Sam sat down next to Ana and looked at the menu. He planned on getting a salad and getting a water. He had started eating healthier a lot more lately. He wanted to live as long as he possibly could. Before Dean came back he had planned on starting a new long life.

  • Dean looked at Sam and then at the girl sitting next to him. "So, uh, how did you get into hunting?" he asked, trying to make conversation to break the awkward silence that seemed to be floating in the air. Besides, he was genuinely curious. Maybe something had happened to her and she wanted to know more about it, so that's how she got into the business. Maybe it was hereditary.
Ana looked up. "Oh, uh, my parents were hunters," she said. "They were on a date once and my father got attacked by a werewolf. So, they started looking into all things supernatural and got into hunting. I wasn't exactly planned, but they knew that if they wanted to keep me safe, they'd have to tell me about everything, that way I'd be able to defend myself. So after they died, I started hunting myself. I feel like that's what they would have wanted."

  • Willow kept quiet as Ana and the guys talked. She wasn't a hunter so she really didn't have anything in common with them. She chewed on the inside of her cheek as she listened to their conversation. "Do you need a menu Ana?"
"Hunting was kind of a family business thing for us too," Sam stated. He didn't realize just how many hunters had lives similar to his and Dean's, being around it since they were kids themselves.

  • Dean looked at Sam, raising an eyebrow. He'd come to learn that Sammy was a lot more open about things than he was, which he wasn't sure if it was a good thing or not. Because really, would they ever see these two girls again? Probably not, and you couldn't really trust people these days.
Ana looked up at Willow and shook her head. She already knew what she wanted. She wasn't big on food, to be honest. She had other things to focus on. She'd just grab a small salad, maybe a milkshake on the side as a treat. She looked at Sam. "Your grandparents too?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. She'd never met her grandparents, but as far as her parents had told her, they weren't hunters and that's why she'd never met them. They didn't want to drag their parents into the mess they were in.

  • "Can we stop talking about this," Willow snapped. "No offense but I'm not used to all this crap yet and I need my burger and milkshake and a big ass thing of whiskey when I get home." The waitress came over and the brunette ordered a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and a chocolate milkshake. She silently pretended to play with her phone when everyone else ordered, thanking the waitress before she left to put their orders in.
After everyone ordered and the waitress left Sam looked at Willow. "So what do you want to talk about if hunting is off the table?" The brunette looked from beside her at Dean to across the table at Ana and Sam before she answered his question. "Favorite movie," Willow suggested. Sam smiled, knowing this would be a fun discussion considering his brother was involved.
