Shadowhunters is a new series on Freeform (previously known as ABC Family)

On her birthday, Clary Fray discovers a surprise concerning her life. The teenager is not who she thinks she is -- she comes from a long line of human-angel hybrids, called Shadowhunters, who hunt demons. After her mother is kidnapped, Clary is thrust into the world of demon-hunting. Clary relies on mysterious Jace and fellow hunters Isabelle and Alec to help her navigate the dark world. While living in this new world among creatures like vampires and werewolves, Clary's best friend Simon helps her uncover answers that could help her find her mother. The fantasy show is based on a series of young adult books by Cassandra Clare.

It's in it's first season and got renewed for season 2 and I am soooo excited. While it's based on the books it's not exactly the same. They, however, do stay true to the books and the characters. It has a slow start, like a lot of shows like this do, but within a few episodes it finds it's ground and takes off running and I just looooove it so much. What do you guys think? Do you have a favorite scene from the first season? Any wishes for upcoming seasons? Or wish they would have included in the first season?

I HEARD IT GOT RENEWED AND GOT STUPID EXCITED, but last I heard, it's not gonna premiere until early 2017? I seriously hope not because asdfghjkl. I haven't watched this week's episode but I totally know what happened.

WHEN MAGNUS FIRST STARTED FLIRTING WITH ALEC. I don't remember what episode it was, but when they're summoning that memory demon and MAGNUS FLIRTING. That was 100% my favorite scene in the entire season so far. Though the first real Clace moment was cute. It was totally a "please shut up" moment. Oh and in the police station with Clary and Jace. I loved that so much. Like "babe, it only happened like...a couple of times, I swear."

Simon and Raphael, let's be real here. We're changing it up in the show, there's chemistry, just do it in season two.

I LOVE THE BOOKS AND THIS SHOW OH MY GOD

I don't even mind that it's different from the books, because it's a second chance and it's close enough. I can't believe the first season is almost over (D:), at least we have a second season though.

I think most of the actors are right too, especially Alec.

As for favourite scene(s), of course the Malec kiss, and the flirting. Also the Clace slap, of course, and the police station bit with them. Basically the whole thing is amazing.
