CLOSED FOR JUDGING
Robots, cyborgs and androids are all people, too. For this contest, all you need to do is write a story either surrounding or containing a character (or multiple) who is a robot, a cyborg, an android or something pertaining to that.
ROBOTS
Beings who are entirely mechanical and have no organic parts. Usually they are guided by a computer program or electronic circulatory system.
(e.g. EVE from Wall-e or C3PO from Star Wars)
CYBORGS
An organic / living being who also has mechanical or cybernetic components, often to extend physical abilities beyond normal human limitations.
(e.g. Bucky Barnes from Captain America: Winter Soldier or John Silver from Treasure Planet)
ANDROIDS
A robot that has been designed to replicate a human or organic being physically, but is otherwise entirely mechanical.
(e.g. Astro Boy or Edwin Jarvis from Marvel Comics)
- Mibba’s Rules and Guidelines apply.
- Pre-writes are accepted.
- Minimum of 200 words, no maximum.
- It can be a one-shot or a chaptered story. Chaptered stories do not have to be completed by the deadline.
- No incest, rape, m-preg or paedophilia please! You will be disqualified.
- Let me know if your username changes or if you’d like to drop out.
- Link the contest in the summary.
- Your layout must be readable! No light fonts on dark backgrounds please.
- All ratings are allowed.
- It can be an original story or a fan-fiction.
- I will allow two entries per person.
- Diversity in your characters.
- If your robot / cyborg / android etc develop to either become more human or less human as the story progresses.
- If you have a custom layout.
- If it’s an original take on your chosen mechanical being.
- LGBT+ robots! (hell yeah)

There is no deadline to enter.
The deadline for submissions will be July 25th.
Judging will begin on July 26th, which will be assisted by the wonderful kaz brekker.
