Kimi quirked a brow but soon offered a small smile. "I have all day to find my room and I'm sure it won't take long to find, anyways," she told him easily.

"Besides, why would I want to leave you so soon when we only just got reunited. No reason to end that so soon, right?"

Rin grinned ruefully, nodding at Kimi's words.

"Alright, come, sit," he dropped down onto his bed, patting the space next to him. "Update me with your life, what have you been doing since we last saw each other?"

Well, not that he already knew, they'd messaged and skyped each other enough that it would have been hard to talk more even if they were in the same country. But it didn't feel right, never the same as being sat next to her and watching her expressions as she talked, hearing her voice right there rather than through a screen.

"Well, there's not much to say," Kimi told him with a small smile as she moved to sit next to him and allowed herself to relax. "It's been really different with everybody else away for college."

She shrugged slightly because she had already mentioned that. Though, when she had mentioned it before, it had mostly been about Rin, about how weird it was without him around.

"My parents were really worried about me coming here," she added with a shrug. "Not that it's surprising. They worry about everything."

"Have you called them?" Rin asked as Kimi mentioned her parents. "We can skype if you like, let them know you arrived safe?"

He bought his legs up on the bed, crossing them, then hesitantly took Kimi's hand in his, stroking his thumb across the back.

"I've probably said this far too many times, but I'm really glad you're here."

Kimi offered a small shake of her head. "No, I haven't called them yet," she told him after a moment. "If you don't mind us skyping them, we can."

She smiled slightly, giving his hand a slight squeeze before she leaned against him a little.

"I'm really glad I'm here, too. Sorry it took me so long to come to my senses and get here, though."

Rin shifted his position slightly, wrapping his arm around Kimi when she leant against him.

"I think your parents would like to know you got here safe," he told her, "so maybe you should call them or something now..."

Rin smiled fondly and nosed gently at her temple before pressing a kiss to it.

"Hey, I think it's on both of us being slow, huh?"

Kimi offered a small nod to his words and hummed out a quiet, "Can I use your laptop to Skype them, then?"

She didn't really feel like digging through her things to find her laptop, after all. And, she'd have to connect to the wifi there, too, which would prolong her getting to call them.

She smiled, though, at feeling his nose and lips against her skin and she couldn't help but to feel fairly happy with everything right now.

So, to his words, she nodded slightly. "Better late than never, I guess."
