After getting rescued from the CCG prison I managed to get away from Ayato before he could take me to his group. Ayato and I have not really been in good terms lately, we parted after attempted to kill one another and no way would I want to see him again and neither would he. I managed to live a relatively good life for awhile but then I hear Aogiri Tree got disbanded and now the Doves are out trying to recaptures all the prisoners from the prison.

I found myself running from Doves who were hot on my trail. I wore my mask so they couldn't figure out my identity however I hadn't fed properly in a long time because of this so I was in no condition to be fighting right now. I hit a deadend in an alley and the doves are right behind me,I was scared, I didn't know what to do.

Touka had witnessed the destruction of Anteiku Cafe during the exterminate all ghouls operation by the CCG however they did not manage to kill everyone. Touka was actually thinking of going to school and try to live a normal life but it looks as though it won't be possible. She had tracked down Kaneki after the act because she could not find anyone else. The CCG are aware of her existence as the Rabbit so she wasn't safe as of now and needs Kaneki's help.

Everything had gone fuck up for Ayato and the Agoiri Tree. How an entire organization could crumble in a matter of hours was beyond him. I noticed one of ours or perhaps another random ghoul running away from a couple of Doves. I needed to eat before I hit the road. I dropped off the roof and tackled one of the Doves. Snapping his neck the other one tried to go for his weapons before I punched through his head and made it pop like a tick. I chuckled a little bit as I grabbed one of the bodies and took a bite out of it. I realized the other ghoul was still there so I kicked the other body to them. "Eat up. I'll need a partner to get out of here, or cannon fodder."

Kaneki looked around for Touka. He wanted to make sure she had gotten out alive. The others were gone but he hadn't seen her for a while. After a bit he managed to find her or rather she had found him. "Touka. There's a used car dealership not far from here. We can go there and attempt to steal a car or something in order to get away." he told her as he made sure his mask was still zipped on.

I fought I was dead until another ghoul swooped in and killed the two doves and began eating one.He kicked the other to me and told me to eat because he's going to need a partner to get out of here.Reluctantly I grabbed the body and pulled it a bit away from him.I'd recognize that smell anywhere,it was Ayato and I don't want him to find out my identity.With my back turned I took off my mask and began to eat. I hadn't realized how hungry I was until I tasted the human flesh.I finished him off in a matter of minutes like the animal I was.I felt ashamed of that.I quickly wiped away the blood from me and put on my mask and stood up.

Touka was so happy to see Kaneki after so long. He had been avoiding her and all of Anteiku until now but because now everything is in shambles even Kaneki needs the help.Kaneki mentioned a car dealership where he suggested stealing a car and escaping."It's not right to steal a car.Besides, can you even drive?" Touka asked. She was one that try to be as human as possible which included obeying the laws of humans.Although she is willing to make a compromise this time because they really are stuck.

Ayato looked her and smirked. "Try not to feel too disgusted by actually eating. You look thin." he told her as he started to walk off into the night. "Coming or not? I'm pretty sure my company is btter welcomed than the doves." he told her as he checked around a few corners to make sure they weren't being followed.

Kaneki looked at Touka and shook his head. "The rules don't apply right now. Let's get going he told her." They snuck onto the property and went into the mangers office. Grabbing a pair of keys and sooner or later finding a beat up 2005 Jetta. "This should work for now." he told her as he got in and started the car up.

I glared at him through my mask at his comment. I'm starting to remember why we parted on bad terms. He tried to sell me off to Aogiri Tree to save himself from them. I nearly killed him for that. He started to walk away making a comment that his company is better welcomed than the Doves."Yes but it's a close second." I said bitterly.I don't wish to fight him but my dislike of him will be difficult to hide.I followed closely because like it or not,I'm still in no fit state to be fighting a full scale battle so I need his help to get out of here."Where are we even going?" I asked.

Touka didn't say anything when Kaneki said the rules don't matter right now. She couldn't help but agree even though she didn't like it. "Okay." She nodded reluctantly. She followed him as he stole some keys and grabbed an old car and unlocked it and both got in." Where are we going to go?Do you know which ward would have the least amount of Doves wandering?" Touka asked as he started the car and drove off. She really wishes she'd be able to come back. She has a dear friend back in school. She misses everyone from Anteiku and wishes they are all alright.

Ayato looked at her and smirked. "Hotel. Need to lay low for a few days." he told her as he broke into a car and hotwired it. "Get in and lay low. We'll need the wheels."

Kaneki shook his head. Hopefully they don't know our faces too well." he told her as he drove towards the city limits. "If they ask we are driving to visit our grandmother who we found out was in critical condition." he told her.

A hotel?!Great, we'll be getting some funny looks from the hotel receptionist when we get there I'm sure."Okay. Let's hope we have enough money for that because we don't want to stand out do we?" I said. I know how Ayato thinks. So I hope to be able to stay in a hotel legally because that would be the least suspicious thing we can do right now.I watched him break into a car and hotwire it.Isn't he like 15?Since when can he drive?Well it's not like we can die from a crash so fuck it."Okay." I said nodding and got in the passenger seat.

Touka nodded. As far as she knows, she's never revealed her face to the CCG before, they only know her by the alias Rabbit and her mask. They might know her kagune type but they wouldn't know her face. Having that in mind she hoped that they didn't know Kaneki's face either and the two can travel a bit more freely so long as they act normal."Okay. We have to stay calm right?The less tense we are the less reasons the doves would have to interact with us." Touka said that but she was still trembling from fear of being caught and can't do anything about it.
