(Don't worry about it! And, no worries; I prefer third person. First person kind of makes me feel awkward. xD)
Skylar
With a sigh, Skylar looked up at the new house but frowned slightly when she spotted the others - more specifically, when she spotted Zane. This was going to be beyond awkward and she really didn't want to be bothered with it.
"Yeah, this is pretty crazy," she agreed with Lex easily, her attention going to her sister before she sighed again. "I'd rather go live with dad, honestly."
Because, even with their father's new girlfriend, that would be a lot less awkward than living in the same house as Zane. Taking a breath, Skye climbed out of the car. If she could just survive one year here, then she could leave. She could go to college next year and forger everything, including the one night stand with her new step-brother.
Drystan
This was the last thing that Drystan wanted to deal with, honestly. Not only had his father remarried, but it was to Alexis' mother, which was going to take some getting used to. At the same time, though, it was also a good thing, because it gave him a chance to be around her without his friends around.
Not that it would do much for them, he knew, since Alexis was now his step-sister and his feelings for her were going to have to be buried. If he could manage that.
Blinking to his brother's words, he looked over, but soon offered a nod. "You're telling me," he muttered. "Guess we should go pick rooms or something, so we can start unpacking?" Maybe he could help Alexis unpack, but he wasn't sure if she'd be okay with that.
