Layouts

I just tried to upload a layout to my new story, but It didn't show the image that I selected. I copied and pasted the HTML and IMG code from a photo on photobucket, and I copied and pasted the url from an image on Google, and neither way showed it. I don't know if I was just copying the wrong image urls wrong or if maybe creating layouts had changed a bit. I would really like to get some help, please?

What you might want to try to do is upload the image to imgur and copy the image link from there. Sometimes copying and pasting a link from google doesn't work

I agree with Phoebe Buffay, the best way to go would be to save the image and upload it to Imgur. It should work once you've done that!

Do I use the HTML URL or the IMG URL? Does it matter?

use the image url! like example http://i.imgur.com/H6KyJTb.jpg

I tried the HTML code also when the image URL didn't work. When I go to edit, it's not showing the image I put in, it's just showing the color I started out with, and when I go to view it in story mode, there's no layout at all

Okay, so the problem is you're trying to make a layout and the image isn't showing up?

If you open the layout maker (My Mibba > Mouse over 'Stories' > Layouts > New Layout), then open the content tab, this is generally where you work with images. Paste the image link in the "image" part in "background" like the circled part here. You'll have to select "no repeat" (where the arrow in the picture is) to make sure the picture isn't repeating. Then you can pick the position of the picture. To make the layout fit the picture, you'll have to change a couple things in "box", the width and padding.

I hope that helps with your issue. Also, Mibba generally uses bbcode, so that could be why the HTML code wasn't working. I'm not entirely sure where you were trying to use the HTML code, though.
