"Your dad is very protective of you," Matt said. "He almost lost you once and he doesn't want to lose you again."

"What are you talking about," Harlow asked. "When did he almost lose me?" She didn't remember anything traumatic or life threatening happening to her to when she was younger so what the hell was he talking about?

Matt shook his head. "That's something you need to talk to him about," he said. "It's not my place to tell you."

Harlow rolled her eyes, annoyed that Matt wouldn't just tell her. She unlocked the studio door and walked upstairs, instantly spotting her mom with her Aunt Val. "Why won't you let me go on birth control," she asked. "Are you really okay with the thought of me getting knocked up and becoming a teen mom like you were?"

Michelle stared at Harlow with wide eyes. "We will not discuss this right now," she said.

Matt walked up, going over to Val and kissing her passionately. He pulled away and looked at Harlow, smiling deviously.

Harlow glared at her mother and then at her Uncle when he made a scene of kissing her aunt. She rolled her eyes, grabbing her keys off the counter and left the house. She didn't want to go home because she knew her mother would just yell at her now especially since she had made a scene in front of her aunt. So the brunette drove to the beach, texting her uncle Johnny and Zack if they wanted to spend time with her there.

Michelle frowned when Harlow left, sighing softly. She needed to talk to Brian about this whole situation. If it were her decision, Harlow would already be on birth control. But Brian was still hanging onto the idea that she couldn't be having sex. But Michelle wasn't stupid.

Harlow frowned when both Johnny and Zack text her back they were busy. She knew at this point she could either sit on the beach alone or go home and face the music and get yelled at by her parents already. Harlow sighed softly, getting back into her car and drove him, taking her time getting out of her car and walking inside.

Brian met Harlow at the door, frowning down at her. "I know you're almost 18, but that doesn't mean you can talk to your mom like you did," he said.

Harlow glared at her father, shoving past him as she stormed up to her room. She refused to acknowledge him, especially since if she did she was going to curse him out. She hated her parents so much at that very moment. She was going to be eighteen in a month and they still treated her like a baby.

Brian followed her. "Harlow, stop!" he called after her. He grabbed her arm. "Stop. I'm not done."

Harlow pulled her arm away from her father and glared at him. "Fuck you," she snapped. "Fuck you both! I'm packing my shit and leaving!" The brunette stormed into her room, grabbing a duffle bag and began shoving things in haphazardly. She had a friend she could move in with but of course since she didn't have money she would be blowing him for her part of the rent.

Brian frowned deeply. He walked into her room and grabbed her arms, pulling them away from her bag. "Stop it, Harlow," he hissed.

"You think you almost lost me when I was younger," Harlow snapped. "Well now you actually are going to lose me." She struggled out of father's grasp, giving up on packing and just stormed downstairs. If he was going to fight her on her packing her things she would just wait until no one was home and grab her things.

Brian huffed and followed her, grabbing her wrist and tugging her towards him. He didn't want to be rough but if he had to, then he would be. He tugged her over to the couch and pushed her down onto it. "You have no fucking idea what you're talking about," he hissed.

"I'm seventeen," Harlow shouted. "I want to be able to have fun with my friends and do the shit I know for a fucking fact you and the guys did at my age!" She felt tears start falling down her face and quickly wiped them away. "I want to fucking live and I can't fucking do that here when the idea of me wanting to have safe smart sex gets me fucking grounded or when you found out I took a cab home when I got drunk instead of being a fucking dumbass and driving myself home!" She hated how living with her parents felt more like a prison than an actual home. "I'm tired of feeling like a fucking prisoner in your fucking house!"

"I refuse to lose my fucking baby again!" Brian yelled at her, breathing heavily as his hands balled into fists. He looked over when Michelle touched his shoulder, pulling away from her and walking out of the room.

Michelle looked down at Harlow. "Is it really worth losing your father?" She asked.

"Why does everyone keep saying lose me again," Harlow snapped. "What the fuck happened!" She felt herself getting angry because she hated not knowing what was going on. It was honestly one of Harlow's biggest pet peeves especially when it involved her.

"Will you calm down if I tell you?" Michelle asked.

"Yes," Harlow snapped. "I'm fucking tired of not being told about things that involve me." She leaned back against the couch, her arms crossed as she waited for her mom to speak again.
