Ella sighed in frustration "you will be the death of me Bruce Wayne" she let out a soft laugh before going to the kitchen. Ella put on an apron as she began to chopped vegetables and talking to Alfred who was overjoyed about the twins.

Jim looked at his girlfriend and kissed her hands, "what is it baby?"

Bruce couldn't help but chuckle a little more as he listened her go about him being the death ot her. "I'm sorry baby." He said as he made his way to his office. He then went into his study room, picking up the latest book he was reading. He figured he'd keep himself distracted with reading while Ella was cooking, not wanting to distract her too much.

"I just love you and I'm so happy that I've had you these last few months." She said softly. She then gasped as the pain worsened. The nurse came back with the doctor, who checked again. "Oh Ms. Jackson, you're almost there."

A while later...the doctor rushed in, knowing it was time. "Doctor!" Katie groaned as she squeezed Jim's hand. She was breathing heavily. "Oh you are more than ready." He said as he checked her and put gloves on. "Doctor!" She groaned, breathing heavily more. She squeezed Jim's hand tightly, needing to push.

Ella smiled, as she made some dinner for everyone and Alfred helped her, "it's been such a while since I e made myself useful" she told him. After finishing she sat in a chair and yawned.

Jim stood by Katie and kissed her hand rubbing her hands gently,"it's almost time baby, you'll do greatl he told her in her ear. He was nervous too but he was going to stay strong for her.

Bruce smiled as he walked back into the kitchen area. A wider smile spread across his face as he watched Ella with Alfred. He looked at the food and could feel his mouth watering. "This looks so good." He said softly. He walked over to Ella and kissed the top of her head. "Babe you are amazing."

Katie nodded and breathed more through the pain. The doctor got himself ready to deliver this baby. "Alright Katie breathed and on your next contraction I want you to push." Katie breathed, then began pushing when she felt her next contraction. "Good....keep pushing." The doctor said. Katie groaned in pain as she kept pushing. "Okay relax." He said as he sat there. Katie breathed, relaxing. "Alright Katie when I tell you, I need you to push and it needs to be a really big push." The doctor instructed.

Ella smiled and kissed Bruce, "well, Alfred helped me so much too!" She nodded as she helped him served the dinner. "What were you up to?"

Jim was standing by Katie as he watched the doctors talk to her about pushing and how she was almost there. Jim coached Katie telling her it was going great. He kissed her hand softly still remaining calm so he wouldn't freak her out.

Bruce smiled. "Well I was reading and keeping myself busy so that someone could be less distracted with me In the room. So then I decided that I would come and check to see how things were going." He grinned as he helped her now. The twins were still peacefully sleeping in their room, and Bruce was ready if either of them cried. "Ella I say this all the time and I mean it each time, you are truly wonderful."!

Katie breathed in and out as the nurse beside her breathed with her. She groaned in much pain as the doctor looked to her again. "Okay Katie push." He instructed. She started pushing once more, this time harder than the last. "That's a good girl...push." The doctor said. "I see the head...come on." He said lightly. Katie let out a cry as she pushed and pushed, the baby's head coming out. "Alright the head is out." The doctor smiled. "Now for the rest of him." He said. Katie cried out as she pushed.

About 30 minutes later, after several pushes, screams, worried looks, and all...Katie pushed the hardest that she had ever, causing her face to become bright red. She cried out in pain as she did this push, and then leaned back. Just as she laid back, a strong cry filled the room.

Ella laughed shaking her head, "he is distracting isn't he Alfred" he nodded his ease in agreement. "Yes miss Ella, Master Bruce is quite the distraction it's why I send him away during dinner because he enjoys dabbing his fingers in food when it's not entirely ready to be consumed" he chuckled. Ella laughed, "I know it, he'll eat my brownie batter he's like a little kid"

Jim spent every moment since the day he found out Katie was pregnant with her even before her divorce he was there to her as a friend. He had done everything to help her be comfortable now it was time for her to give birth and he was more than willing to be a father figure to this child. Even if it wasn't his own. He rubbed her hand gently and whispering in her ear.

"You're doing great sweetheart keep on.." after many moments later there was a loud cry in the room and he smiled.

Bruce chucked. "I don't know what you're talking about." He said, trying to act innocent. He smirked and kisses her once on the lips. "Is there anything I can do?" He asked softly. He then looked at his watch and phone. He hadn't heard anything from Jim or Katie, which worried him. He didn't say anything though. He just looked to Ella and smiled.

Katie leaned and smiled as she watch the nurses take care of the baby. "Wow 8 lbs 10 oz." One of the nurses said with a big smile. Katie looked to Jim. "He was a big boy." The doctor smiled and congratulated them. Katie pulled Jim to her and kissed him. "Thank you Commissioner." She said, tears filled her eyes of excitement.

Ella rolled her eyes, "sure, you don't Bruce" she teased and finished up. "I think we're good thanks, you could check on the twins.." Alfred smiled, "I'll be more than happy to check up on them Miss Ella" he said and she nodded. She turned to face Bruce "what?"

Jim smiled wide and kissed the side of Katie's head, "wow big boy" he grinned. He rubbed her back gently, "why are you thanking me sweetheart?" He asked. Jim sent Bruce a text and picture of the baby.

"Nothing...just admiring you." He said with a smile. He then heard and felt his phone go off. Pulling the iPhone out of his pocket, Bruce unlocked it, seeing the picture Jim sent. "Aww." He said with a sweet smile. "Katie had the baby." He said as he turned the phone around for Ella to see. "And a big boy is he." He commented.

"Because honey you have been with me through everything." She spoke softly as she leaned in and kissed him softly. "So I just want to thank you for that. When I was scared and wasn't sure what to expect...you were there and have been there." She spoke softly. "And now we have a beautiful family."
