Lily's jaw was clenched as she held her boyfriend Zack's hand. He and his friends were talking music but Zack's friend Matt was arguing he loudly across the room with his girlfriend. "Isn't this supposed to be a band meeting for you all not just everyone but the lead singer," she asked. Zack, Matt and there other friends had decided to form a band and were having a band meeting to come up with the band name and lyrics for songs.

Matt frowned when Val scoffed and walked away, like it was nothing. "Don't walk away from me!" he shouted, not moving from his place because he was stubborn. As much as he wanted to run after her and stop her, his pride was stopping him from doing so. He huffed, waving his hand. "Fine, run away!" He huffed and turned, rolling his eyes when he overheard Lily. He walked over and sat beside her, glaring at her. "You know, you don't have to be here." He couldn't stand her, ever since Zacky had started bringing her around. She walked in here and acted like she owned the place, and it was so annoying.

"I like listening to you guys play and create music," Lily stated. "But lately when I come over to do that all I hear is you and Val fighting." She pecked Zack's lips and got up out of her seat. "I'm gonna go grab some food what do you all want?" Besides the fact Matt and herself fought a lot she considered the rest of the guys and their girlfriends as close friends.

Matt rolled his eyes at Lily's statement. He and Val didn't fight all the time. Just occasionally. And it was only because recently he'd caught her kissing another guy. She claimed she was drunk, but he didn't know what to think. And every time she said she had "somewhere to go," he questioned her and she got pissy with him about it. But he had a right to know, right? He thought so. He looked up when Lily mentioned food. "Just bring back a bunch of tacos, they'll be satisfied."

"I didn't ask you what you wanted everyone to eat," Lily snapped. "Not everyone wants to eat tacos all the time." The other guys quickly spoke up and asked Chinese. Lily wrote down what the guys wanted before she turned to Matt. "What do you want?"

Matt shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not hungry," he said. And he wasn't just being an ass, he really wasn't hungry. He'd lost his appetite after dealing with Val and he didn't think he could stomach anything as of right now. Except maybe a few beers.

Lily rolled her eyes, going to grab the guys food. She also figured after she got back she'd take Matt to get beer because she could tell all he wanted to do was wallow in his misery. "If you come with me I'll buy you beer," she stated. "But if you piss me off I'll throw it out of the car into the street."

Matt looked at Lily, his brows furrowing. "I don't need your pity beer," he said sternly. He knew she probably just felt sorry for him and that's why she was offering because why else would she offer to get him beer? He stood up, looking down at her. "I can get my own beer, thank you very much."

Lily rolled her eyes at Matt's comment. "At least come help me with all the Chinese food," she stated. If he was going out anyways the least he could do was help her out with everyone's good since everyone had ordered a bunch of different things.

Matt wanted to tell her that it was her responsibility, since she'd offered to get everyone food, but he did need to get out of this fucking garage, because he felt like he was suffocating. "Fine," he grumbled, getting up and walking out of the garage. He walked over to his car and climbed in, waiting for her.

Lily climbed into Matt's car, figuring it wasn't worth it to argue with him about it. She buckled up once she got inside, pulling out her wallet to make sure she had enough money to pay for everything. "Last chance," she mumbled. "Do you want booze or not?"

"No," Matt mumbled, knowing he shouldn't get drunk since he still had homework to do. And if he missed another assignment, his parents would be called and he'd get grounded and probably wouldn't be able to see the guys for a while.

"Alright," Lily mumbled. "Can we stop buy the liquor store after we pick up the food anyways? I owe Zack a forty." She had bought one for them to split and had ended up drinking all of it. She had her fake ID with her and she was wearing make up so she looked older than she actually was.

Matt sighed heavily. "Yesh, whatever," he muttered. I'm not your chauffeur, Zack is. But he didn't say anyrhing. He kept his mouth shut and drove to the Chinese place, getting out and walking in with her.

Lily walked into the restaurant, greeting the owner's daughter politely and ordered everything to go. She looked at Matt, finally beyond annoyed with him too much to let anything go. "What is your problem with me," Lily snapped. "What have I ever done to be considered such a horrible person to you?"

Matt glared at her. "You're annoying as hell, and you act like you're better than everyone else," he snapped. "Just because your family is well off doesn't mean you're better than anyone."

Lily's eyes widened. How could Matt ever think she felt that way? Of course she used the money her parents gave her on occasion but she had a part time job she worked after school three nights a week. "I do not," she exclaimed. "If anything I think the guys and you are better than me!"

Matt scoffed. "That's a crock of shit," he muttered, looking away from her. "I don't even know why Zack dates you, you're nothing like us, and you never will be. You're never going to fit in."

"You're the only one that doesn't like me," Lily stated. "Even Val and I get along better than you and I do!" She ran her fingers through her red hair, beyond frustrated that Matt thought she was some snobby princess. "What do I need to do to prove to you I'm not spoiled brat?"
