Bryce smiled as she talked about her space, "Well you make your landing hard to resist." He said, laughing softly. He set his beer down, "Those kids don't know how to party." He said. He wish he could take her to a club and show her what partying with the big kids was really like. He was sure she would have fun.

"It's a really great place, okay? I worked really hard on it. And it's just high enough, just out of the way enough, that I never get dinged for it being such a fire hazard. I mean, I know how to navigate it in order to escape a fire, but someone above my apartment, they might trip on a blanket and fall down onto your landing. But, that's like a six foot drop. It's nothing." Kara giggled. She held up her can and wiggled it a little. "Where do you keep your empties?" she asked, standing up, and then gave a 'pfft' to his comment about partying. "We party perfectly well thank you. Just the right about of shitty beer pong tournaments, snooze, and laid back drinking wine and acting like pretentious assholes. And the occasional frat-mosh-monster of whatever I am in for in University. I personally prefer the laid-back drink beer OR wine, listen to music and get all philosophical on each other things. Mixed with a couple shots of tequila or rum and a little dancing. Those are my personal favorites, but I've only been to two. I kind of hope that's the kind of thing I throw when I'm older. But now I am rambling and I am going to stop. Right now. I promise." Kara's face was now a mild scarlet and she was seconds away from actually biting her tongue off just to shut herself up.

Bryce smiled a her as her face got red again, "No don't worry about rambling. I find your rambling to be quite winsome." He said, smirking. He took the empty can from her and threw it away. "If you like Tequila i have the good stuff." He said, walking over and pulling out a bottle from underneath his counter. He poured them two shots then looked at her as he waited for her to join him at the counter.

Kara clapped her hands together, adding a little hop to her step as she crossed to the counter. She flashed Bryce a grin and gently grabbed a shot glass, holding it up. "I have never even seen this brand, so I trust you completely. I am such a tequila girl. There's some old country song, or some saying about tequila and hitting the floor, and that is so not me." Kara held back from adding that she often referred to tequila as her 'lifeblood'. She was trying hard not to seem like the seventeen year old girl she was. "What's your poison?" she asked, bringing the shot glass up for a quick cheers.

(Good, because I am a sucker for good chemistry, a good plot and just, ugh. I don't want to freak you out, but 9:00pm to whenever you stop posting has been the best part of my day for the last two nights because, damn, I love these two. It reminds me of this plot I did with a girl once that had a girl and a ghost and I just loved their chemistry so much. That thread was like cocaine to me. Actually all the ideas I posted on the thread request are from previous threads that were basically crack for me.)

[Aww! well thanks. :) haha i know the feeling. When i get a roleplay i really like i can't get enough of it. Like i had one with this girl that had an amazing plot and i always wanted to redo it because the character were beautiful together. Like i still re-read it to this day XD]

Bryce smiled and clinked his glass against his and took a shot with her. He smiled, "Personally i'm a jack daniels kind of guy." He said as he took another sip of his beer. "Want another beer?" He asked her as he offered a can to her. He knew she wasn't going to turn it down. After all who turned down beer? Bryce smiled as he poured them another shot. "I'm gonna get you drunk." He warned her.

"I should have know. You seem like a Jack Daniel's kind of guy. Classy but rugged." Kara grinned. The shot was hot going down her throat, she grimaced slightly, but it felt nice to be drinking with good company. Especially company as attractive as Bryce was. "Of course, but it'll take a little more than just a shot and a couple beers, Bryce. I may be young but I have built up quite the tolerance."

(On mibba? You should send me a link, I love a good read. I mean, you don't have to. Sadly mine was taken down because it was ages ago. I'm always trying to start it up again, even with a new partner. Trying a plot you've done before is kind of like seeing a good remake of an old movie, because the new partner brings a different vision, different spins on characters and event.)

Bryce nodded, "Fair enough." He said as he poured her another shot. "I can pour you shots all night." He said as he poured himself another. Bryce took the shot with her then took a swig of his beer. He liked having someone to hang out with and she was really good company to have around.

"Mhm, well before we have another shot, I need a smoke. Cons of being a chainer." Kara let out an exaggerated sigh and put down the shot glass. "Join me?" She offered, crossing to the window. Kara climbed out, hyper aware that he was behind her. She didn't stay long on the landing though, Kara climbed the escape and then onto her little oasis. "Might as well try her out now." Kara called out, sticking her head down the fire escape to watch Bryce.

Bryce climbed out the window, looking up at her. "Alright alright i will check it out." He said as he climbed up to her landing. He looked around then found a place to sit. "Not bad." He said as he lit a cigarette, watching her. He smirked as she sat next to him. "I got a feeling you like me Kara." He teased her, then exhaled the smoke from his lungs. He smiled as he watched her blush.

"Wait, it does have one childish aspect, but I cannot get enough of it, so I refuse to be sorry about it." Kara fumbled with a trigger next to her window, switching on a set of fairy lights that were wrapped around the railing of the landing. She couldn't stop her grin if she tried. It was her favorite part of the oasis, and she was finally getting to show off her special spot to someone. Kara pulled out her pack from her pocket and lit a cigarette. Bryce's words were correct, but she couldn't let him know that. Kara rolled her eyes and blew her smoke in his direction. "Oh I bet you'd like that, wouldn't you? Hot young thing from upstairs as a big school girl crush on you?" Kara shot back, hoping the fairy lights wouldn't show off the scarlet burning into her cheeks.

Bryce smiled, "I would really enjoy that. Give me something to do." He said, as he looked around at the lights. Bryce looked at her, "You can't hide that blush." He said she as he touched her cheek. He smiled as he pulled his hand away. He finished his cigarette before he threw the cigarette butt over the balcony.

Kara threw her head back, laughing as she clutched her stomach. "You think you are so suave don't you, Bryce? Charming and handsome, artsy and clever." Kara deflected, feeling herself take a mental step back. She spent most of her days parading past Bryce's window for this reason, she had always wanted to catch his attention. She hadn't used the front door to her apartment in weeks. Fire escape only. Truth be told, she did have a little thing for him. He was very attractive and he was a mystery to her. But she was getting to know him now. It seemed real now. And that was both terrifying and exciting. Kara was not a girl to put her heart on the line. "And I don't blush, it's chilly out." She denied, taking a long drag of her cigarette and then letting it out, the slow burn filling her lungs.

Bryce smiled, "Sure its cold." He teased her as he moved to the ladder and went down to his landing. He looked up at her, "You coming back down?" He asked, smirking. He wanted her to join him so he had some more company for the night.

Kara weighed her options, biting her lip, and then she took a final drag, flicked the cig and climbed down the escape. "I wouldn't want to leave you all alone," Kara climbed through the window first, and then turned to watch Bryce shimmy through the small entrance. "Another shot?" she suggested.
