Louisa snickered again when Jenna mentioned something about Matt looking good naked. She could tell by looking at Jenna that that was what her friend was thinking about right now, and she shook her head. She was sure Matt did look good naked, but she personally had never really been all that attracted to super chiseled men, even if she could appreciate that he did look good. She'd always been more into guys with a little bit more cushion around the middle; she didn't know why, but she figured it was because they were cuddlier. "Just remember, you can't touch him while he's still your client, but once you're done, feel perfectly free to ride him into that very comfortable mattress of yours. Just make sure I'm not home when you do it." She chuckled, reaching under the counter for her lighter and pack of cigarettes. It had been several hours since she'd had one and she was starting to realize that she needed a hit of nicotine. She grabbed Jenna's wrist and pulled her out of the shop, around to the place where she usually went to smoke her cigarettes. She just wanted a chance to talk to Jenna without Katy listening in. She lit her cigarette and took a long drag and held the smoke in her lungs as she thought about how to start what she wanted to say. "So you don't think I'm being silly, getting excited about this guy when I just broke up with Jay two months ago?" Louisa asked. "I mean, we were engaged and I did sort of love him, even if he did cheat on me like three times. I just...I don't want to get hurt again, ya know? Or an I thinking too much into this? I mean, Zacky didn't even ask for my phone number. I dunno."
"I guess there's that," Matt said. He felt stupid that he didn't think about that. Of course he should figure out what Jenna might like to do. But he was like Zack and the rest of them, he usually planned evenings around his goal of getting into the girl's pants. And drinking was usually a good way to do that. But he didn't want to do that with Jenna. She was funny and blunt and he wanted to actually spend time with her. Matt paid for his ointment and walked with Zacky out to the car, laughing at how his friend said he wished he could sleep the week away. Zacky definitely liked his sleep, probably more than Matt did. "Aren't you glad you didn't puss out of coming to the tattoo shop with me?" Matt asked, pulling out of the parking lot. He smirked at Zacky. "You would've been sleeping instead of meeting your little redneck." And then Louisa might have been in there bothering him and Jenna, since Jenna had mentioned something about her liking to pester people. And then it would've been harder for him to talk to Jenna the way that he had. "Damn, damn, damn, this thing itches," Matt grumbled. It was so hard to resist the urge to scratch at his chest "I gotta get home and put this shit on my tattoo." Hardly fifteen minutes later, Matt pulled into Zacky's driveway and put his car in park. "My next appointment is at two o'clock next Thursday, so I'll probably be by to pick you up around one thirty. Unless you've changed your mind by then," he added, joking.
