Louisa smiled when Zacky kissed her forehead, closing her eyes as she snuggled into his side. The next morning, she was aware of Matt and Jenna moving around in the apartment, but it wasn't quite enough to wake her up. She didn't wake up until the front door opened and shut, stretching out her legs as she yawned. "Mmm, good morning, darlin'," Louisa mumbled, looking over at Zacky. She snuggled a bit closer to him, trying to catch a peek at his phone screen. "Finally doing some work, I see?" she teased, seeing that he was checking his email. She knew was sure the work of a professional musician was never really done. Even when they weren't writing or touring, there were meet and greets, things to sign, and music videos to film. And of course Zacky had his clothing line, so Louisa was sure he had some work to do with that, too. "When Matt and Jenna get back, I'm gonna have to have a serious talk with them about fucking being quiet when they're getting ready," Louisa grumbled, glancing at the clock as she reached for the remote. "Seriously, I know Matt's sort of a big guy, but does he really need to fucking stomp everywhere he goes? And I don't know what he did to that stupid dog to make him whine the way he did. It's way too early to be awake on a Saturday," she finished with a playful huff, tossing her arm over Zacky's chest. Since it was the weekend, she didn't open the shop until one in the afternoon, which meant she might be able to get a nap in before she had to go into work, if she got the chance. She did need to take a shower and do a little grocery shopping before she went to work though, so she doubted. "So darlin', tell me about this awards show you've got coming up," Louisa started, propping herself up on one elbow to look at Zacky. "What award are y'all up for? And how fancy should I plan to dress? Because I don't have anything super fancy, I might have to plan a shopping trip with Jenna."
While Jenna went to toss the towel in the hamper and pull her underwear on, Matt turned onto his side and closed his eyes. He could've sworn he almost heard Jenna say that she loved him, but that couldn't be what he heard. Could it? Matt would admit that he liked Jenna quite a bit, but love? It was a little too early for that, even for how well their relationship was going. But at least she'd stopped herself before she actually said it out loud, because then Matt wouldn't have been able to ignore it. The next morning he woke up when he felt something flicking his nose, groaning as he opened his eyes. Honestly, this was like the second morning in a row that she'd woken him up this way. "I'm up, I'm up," Matt said, sliding his legs over the side of the bed. He yawned as he stood up, stretching before going over to the bag he'd brought. He quickly changed clothes before lacing up his running shoes and turning to Jenna. "Alright baby girl, you ready to go?" he said. "You're the expert on this area, so where should we go? Loop the block? Run a trail? It's up to you." He headed towards the door, stumbling forward a little when his foot caught on something. For a second he wondered what it was, but the high-pitched whining told him exactly what he'd tripped over. "Goddamn dog, get out from underneath my feet!" Matt hissed. He couldn't wait until Pirate was big enough that he could see him at all times. "Alright Jen, let's get going before I accidentally kill your dog or he kills me," Matt said.
