Imogene had been the most sick she'd ever been in years, the last three weeks had wrecked havoc on her body rendering her near useless. Her assignments got done when she had energy, or when the staff at the hospital would let her be awake for longer than a couple of hours. As she walked into the office she knocked on the wood of the door way, "Professor Way, I figured it'd be better to explain what happened in person," she said to him lightly with a weak smile before walking in and taking a seat in front of his desk. She'd been diagnosed with a lung infection that was just too stubborn to go away, but finally she was feeling a bit better. Despite being on a daily steroid, and antibiotic - she felt rather normal; still short of breath she'd often have to walk slow or park closer to the school if she were walking.
"I just got out of the hospital today, and I've done up most of the assignments I missed; I'm working on this weeks now. I really appreciate you e-mailing me the work I was meant to be doing," she spoke appreciatively; she could have been dropped from all four of her courses but somehow she'd talked her school into letting her keep her classes.
Frank had had a long day at the auto shop, car after car coming in wanting detail work done; he hadn't even been able to work on fixing the cars in the garage. Of course he did make good money today, he knew he had to have the radiator replaced in the honda by the end of the week or the blonde lady with pitch a fit. He turned on the music and grabbed himself a beer from the fridge before sitting on the couch. It was nice to know he could finally relax, he'd owned his business for well over four years now. He ran a good clean business, and he did everything he could to help those in need; because he knew the reality of life without a car, and especially if they had kids - he would work them. However, today had been non-stop working; his muscles ached.
