Evie stood at the very end of the bar beside some people she had met a few events previously. A smile was on her face as her hips swayed just slightly to the beat of the music that was playing. She felt content just being around with the few people she knew, but her management would want her out mingling a lot more than what she was. She just didn't feel attempting to talk to those she didn't know. Three years ago it would have been completely different story. After all, she was a completely different person now and back then she despised who she was. She was happy with how things had finally turned around for her. Sure, she was probably a lot more entertaining for the general public back then. It was hard to know what Evie Lowndes, daughter of Craig Lowndes, would do next, but now it was a different story. She wasn't in the headlines for the terrible things she done; it was only the good and she knew the not drinking part had a big thing to play in that.
After a short while, she bid farewell to those she was with; letting them enjoy mingling with some people she did not know. She moved closer to the bar to grab a glass of soda to give her a little sugar kick. Her eyes soon fell onto Louis Tomlinson who was walking her way. She had briefly met him and the band a few times now at different events. She was sure there was probably a chance she bumped into one or two of them in her partying days, but that was something she could not remember; not that she wanted to remember. There had never been a chance for her to get to know Louis or the rest of the boys. It had always been short hellos and nice to see yous before she had to keep moving. She had only ever heard, from people she knew, that they were lovely boys and she wouldn't mind getting to know Louis. He had always been her favourite out of the five. There was something about his eyes that drew her to him.
As Louis drew closer towards her, she leaned her head to the side and smiled warmly at him. It had been at least six months since she had seen his face in real life. She remembered passing by him and Liam on some red carpet event in London. She didn't see either of them the rest of the night. She felt like tonight would be one of the only chances she would get to actually have a proper conversation with the good looking singer. "Louis Tomlinson, it's been awhile," she said to him with a soft laugh. "I hear you lot are finally having a break for once," she added in; her smile only growing wider.
Harry walked alongside Liam as they entered the venue. It seemed like everyone had their own priorities tonight and he didn't blame them. They really had only stopped touring less than three weeks ago and, to be fair, they were getting a little bit sick of being around each other. Louis was the first to leave, heading straight towards the bar and Zayn was next when he spotted a friend of his in the crowd of people. Niall stuck around the longest, but he soon went off to grab a drink. The only reason Harry stuck by Liam was because he said that Riley would be able to stay with him.
He felt bad for her. He knew how hard it was to actually get a decent home in London; even he had difficulties landing the house he was in now. He was happy to help her though. He enjoyed Riley's company the few times he had met her so he didn't mind so much that she would be occupying his spare bedroom until she finally found a place to live again. She seemed down to earth and wouldn't invade his space too much.
"Thanks for this mate," Liam said to Harry for the hundredth time since he had agreed to let the blonde stay with him. "If I had somewhere for her to crash-" Liam was cut off when Harry spoke up.
"I don't mind," he stated; trying to calm his friend down. "She's a cool girl. You trust her, so I trust her. We will have fun together," Harry stated with a grin. He, honestly, didn't mind. It wasn't going to burden him at all. It was actually going to be pleasant having someone else in the house with him. "Let's just see if we can find her."
He was counting on Liam to find Riley. It had been a little while since he had last seen her in person. Sure he had seen photos of her over social media, but everyone looked different in real life. It wasn't long though until Liam pointed her out as she walked away from the bar. It was like she hadn't changed since he last saw her. She still had those beautiful blonde locks and a smile that lit up a room. Without a second look, Harry started to make her way towards her; dodging the people who were in his way. He made a beeline straight towards Riley.
"Thought you would at least buy me a drink too," he commented when he finally caught up to her. He had a grin on his face when Liam stepped beside him to greet his friend.
