Don't Act Like You Know Me

Kaylie glanced around the coffee shop while she spun her pen around between her fingers. She had been doing some homework that her professor assigned, but at this point it was difficult to keep working on it. The project was wasn't well defined and the subject matter was already difficult enough as it was. So she was trying to find something to district herself with while she waited for the headache to go down.

A smile came across her face as Mikey walked into the coffee shop with a few of his friends. Just a week ago, they had started dating and she was rather excited about it. He was just so attractive and was good to her. So when he came in, she couldn't help but give him a small wave. They weren't hanging out until later tonight, but maybe he would have some time to at least come say hi. Besides he was just with his friends, so surely he would when he saw her.

Mikey was pretty much on cloud nine for the last few week. Everything was going right for him. He was only 18, but he was ranking high up in his gang, he was his boss' top confidant, so he knew all the secrets and plans, he was also basically getting quality training to defend himself and others. He had also just gotten a girlfriend, Kaylie was the sweetest girl, and she was so adorable. He knew it had only been a week, but he was pretty sure that he loved her. The only thing was... he couldn't tell anyone. He felt bad, he couldn't show her off, and she deserved that. But he was not going to lose his reputation, and he was not going to put her in danger. If people knew, they would know he had a soft side and a weakness, that could be used against him, she could be used against him, he couldn't do that. He explained that to her when they started dating, she seemed okay with it, and he was so grateful for that. She got him to be a softie.

Mikey had skipped all his classes that day, he didn't feel like going, when he did it was to make Kaylie happy now. He was hanging out with a few of the guys from his gang. As they headed into the coffee shop, Mikey wore a black graphic tee, dark blue jeans, and a black hoodie that he had over his bright blonde hair which was style upwards. He had a simple lip piercing on his lower right lip. When the five of them walked in, you could hear the audible sigh from the employees. The guys were loud, and a bit rowdy, but Mikey wasn't trying to be disrespectful. He looked over and saw his girl, he bit his lip and a grin came across his face. He took his sunglasses off, winking at Kaylie. Mikey sat at the table with his guys, making sure to have the seat facing her, just so he could occasionally get a look at how gorgeous his girl was. Their conversations could be heard in nearly the entire shop. They talked about random things, nothing of their jobs, so to speak. A few of them talking about their girlfriends when Mikey bit his lip again and looked at Kaylie. He couldn't wait to see her tonight.

Kaylie winked back at Mikey before going to her work. She had hoped he would be able to come over but that seemed to not be the case. Mikey had explained why they couldn't go public with their relationship, and she knew about the gang. While she didn't approve of his gang activity, it wasn't a deal breaker for her. Her own father had been part of one until he decided to quit. Though still it would have been nice if she was able to let others that she had a boyfriend. Especially one that was as great as Mikey.

Going back to her homework, Kaylie tried to keep her mind off of her new boyfriend. Though it was a bit difficult when he, at times, was staring right at her. So every once in a while she would look back at him and smile. But soon she started packing her things up and heading out. Though before she did, Kaylie winked at him again and then headed out.

Later that day, Kaylie looked in the mirror before slowly smoothing her dress out. She was so excited to see Mikey soon, and she was curious as to what they would do tonight. It was going to be difficult for them to go do normal couple things because they had to hide their relationship. Though hopefully they would keep figuring something out.

Mikey just grinned and put his sunglasses back on as he saw Kaylie wink at him and leave. She was adorable, but he didn't want his guys noticing and asking about it. He stayed around with then for the next few hours before heading to his house to get ready for his date with Kaylie. He knew the situation wasn't ideal, but they'd make it work. He lived alone in an apartment, but it wasn't a small junkie one, it was quite a nice one, which he only afforded because of his 'job.' Mikey decided not to change, hoping Kaylie wouldn't mind.

He grabbed the keys to his red Dodge truck before driving over to Kaylie's house, when he arrived he sent her a text saying he was there. Mikey looked over and saw her coming to his truck, he bit his lip as he watched her walk. When she got into his truck he moved and caressed her face with one hand, kissing her deeply. "I've missed you so much." He mumbled against her lips in the kiss. He pulled away after a minute or so, grinngin at her. "Anyone ever tell you how cute you are?" Mikey asked, he put one hand on her thigh as he started to drive. "I've got a surprise for you at my place, you're gonna love it babe." He commented. The drive was only about fifteen minutes from her place to his, Mikey would hum to the radio as he drove, looking to his girlfriend occasionally. "I wish you could move in with me, I'd never have to be without you." He teased, mocking a song on the radio.

Mikey parked in his driveway, taking her hand as he walked inside. Mikey led her over to his living room. He had done it up in a fashion to make it look like a movie theatre. "I've also rented out a popcorn machine, and got some soda and candy. We also have the advantage of having my couch instead of theater seats. We can watch whatever you want,baby." He told her as he turned to face Kaylie again, hoping she would like it

Kaylie's eyes lit up as she saw the inside of his apartment. She smiled brightly at him as she walked around the room. "It looks amazing!" Turning back to Mikey, she somewhat skipped over to him, kissing him softly. After a few seconds, she pulled away and turned back to the room. "I love it." Mikey was so considerate, and their dates seemed to always be a bit more special since they couldn't do the typical date things.

Kaylie walked over to the couch, sitting down as she started to flip through the movies. She started humming softly as she went through them, trying to figure out exactly what she wanted to watch with him. After a few minutes, she managed to find something Kaylie figured that they both would like. It was a comedy movie. Once she put it in, she grabbed a some candy, pop and popcorn before sitting back down.

When Mikey was comfortable, Kaylie leaned into his body, laying her head against his shoulder. They had only been together for a week but they fit together so easily. And she enjoyed how much Mikey just wanted to hold her. "How was your day today?" Kaylie looked up at him with bright eyes as she waited for him to answer. "The guys at the coffee shop, are they also in the gang with you?"

Mikey was ecstatic that she liked it, he felt accomplished. He always wanted to make her happy, and stuff like this seemed to do the trick, so he would gladly continue to do it if it meant seeing her smile all the time. Mikey put his hands on her hips as Kaylie kissed him, lifting her up just a bit, he did it often just because she was a bit shorter than he was. "Girls like movie dates, so I wanted to take you on a movie date." He commented.

Mikey watched her go off to pick a movie, he grabbed the, both some food and brought it back, setting it on his coffee table for her to just grab when she was done. He sat down in the couch and reclined it, wanting to lay back during the movie, when Kaylie put it in he hit play.

Mikey wrapped his arm around Kaylie when she laid with him, pulling her body tight to his. "You're so cute." He mumbled again. When Kaylie spoke to him, Mikey looked down, he couldn't help himself and kissed her lips before answering. "Yea they were. My day was fine, better now that I'm with you. You make it all better." He murmured quietly, kissing her head before looking back at the screen.

Once Mikey answered fully, Kaylie snuggled into him a bit more."You make my day better too." She said warmly, though quickly closed her mouth when the movie started. She moved her head into his chest and looked up at the tv as the movie started. At first she started to eat the food in front of her. Though halfway through the movie, Kaylie started to mindlessly draw small patterns on Mikey's chest as she watched. It was a great movie and she enjoyed it, but the movie wasn't nearly as interesting as Mikey.

After a few minutes, Kaylie turned her head and looked up at Mikey, wanting to see how sucked into the movie he was. She smiled gently up at him before moving up and wrapping her arms around his neck. Nuzzling her face into his chest, she turned her head against his chest so she could hear his heartbeat. It was odd, but Kaylie liked listening to it, the noise and patter that it made was quite calming. Though, slowly, she turned her head again in order to watch the end of the movie that was drawing near. Despite the fact that she wanted to just talk to Mikey, she did want to see how the movie would end.

Mikey smiled down at Kaylie and kissed the top of her head when she snuggled into him, he didn't eat much as he watched the movie, but he would occasionally reach out and grab a bite of the snacks. He liked movies, and got reallyinto them, he was sort of a movie buff. Having all kinds of classic movies, their posters, and memorabilia around his house. Mikey glanced down when she began to draw on him, smiling faintly before his eyes moved back to the screen.

Mikey felt Kaylie looking up at him a few minutes later, looking down at her, he smiled at Kaylie, when her arms went around his neck, he wrapped his arm tightly around her. "You're so cute." He purred and pressed his lips against hers, letting it go for a moment before pulling away, gently rubbing her side, and looking back at the screen.when the movie finished, Mikey got up and turned the television off, turning around he grinned at Kaylie. "Well now that that's over, why not come give your boy some loving?" He asked teasingly, holding his rims open for her.

Kaylie rolled onto her side when Mikey moved to turn the TV off. She watched him as he headed over, turned it off and then turned back to her. A smile widen over her lips and Kaylie was more than happy to jump onto her feet. She went over to Mikey and wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his around her. "Oh you're my boy? Well I guess my boy can have some." Kaylie teased him back. Though she too wanted him.

Leaning further into his arms, Kaylie moved up onto her toes and pecked him on the lips. She then pulled Mikey down a little before really kissing him. At first she couldn't help but smile against Mikey's lips before deepening the kiss. Her fingers moved up to the bottom of his hair, gently pulling on the tuffs there and twirling it between her fingers. It was amazing how Mikey was already able to make her feel. They had only been together for a week but they just had such a strong connection. And whenever she even just thought of him Kaylie couldn't help but smile.

Mike's grinned excitedly as he watched Kaylie walk over to him, she made him so happy. He thought it was so cute she had to get on her tip toes to kiss him, as her arms went around his neck he leaned down so he would be able to kiss her. He moved his hands down her body, holding Kaylie's hips as he pulled her body to his. Mikey could feel his heart skip a beat as the kissing intensified between them. His lips pursed into a smile and he pulled away for a moment. "Can we take this somewhere else? Anything is more comfortable than standing." He teased as he let one hand move away from her hop and up to Henry grab her chin and lift it.

Mikey took kaylie's hand as he led her to his bedroom upstairs. He didn't care about sex, he honeslty was just tired of standing. He had been walking around all day, so he wanted to lay down. Mikey was content with how they were right now. He laid on his back and pulled Kaylie to him, pressing his lips to hers again, letting out a satisfied sigh. "You make me so happy." He mumbled against her lips.

Kaylie wrapped her fingers around Mikey's hand as he brought her upstairs. She had been to his apartment before, but still she was impressed with how large it was and the fact that Mikey was able to afford it. Once they got to his bedroom and he pulled her on top of him, Kaylie moved her hands onto his chest. Her fingers wrapped around his fabric, gripping onto it as she kissed him back. At his words, Kaylie pulled away slightly, looking down at him with a huge smile. Her hand moved to the side of his face and her thumb brushed against his cheek. "You make me happy too." She then moved back into the kiss.

Her hand then moved to the back of his head. After a few more moments, Kaylie pulled out and buried her face into his neck. She let out a sigh of content. Kaylie had no concern about Mikey expecting anything from her. She knew he wouldn't push her to do anything, and after all they had only been together for a week. "Don't fall asleep because you still need to drive me home." She teased him lightly.

Mikey wrapped his arms loosely around Kaylie's waist, keeping his hands on the lower part of her back as his lips kneaded against hers. He could feel his heartbeat in his ears, nervousness mixed with excitement caused his heart to race. He moved one hand up to her cheek, holding it lightly. When kaylie broke the kiss he opened his eyes and looked up at her, love and tenderness about his look. "That's what I'm here for." He murmured in response. Though eager to get back to the fun. When Katie broke it again he let out a small happy sigh, and just held her body close to his. Letting out another yawn. "Oh shush, you know you'd love to stay here with me!" He teased, pressing his lips to her forehead.

Mikey adore Kaylie for many things, but one of those things was the fact that they could just sit together,or rather lay together in silence and it wasn't awkward. It was harmonious, because they worked together, and he appreciated it. Mikey closed his eyes as he lay all the way back and just allowed their bodies to mold together easily, and he hummed quietly while doing so, after about fifteen minutes he yawned, then sighed. "I think that's my sign to take you home cause I'm getting tired. He said and moved a strand of hair from her face.

Kaylie let out a little sigh. She instantly snuggled into Mikey a bit more, pressing her face against his face lightly. Ever so softly nuzzling her nose against his cheek. "I wish I didn't have to go home." Kaylie whispered, her fingers pressing a little harder into his skin. It was so odd, that it had only been a week. With the way that she felt, with the way that they both seemed to feel, one would think that they had been together longer.

Though Kaylie did have to go home. If she didn't, her family would worry, and that pain would not be worth the pleasure of staying with Mikey. Besides, surely they would have an opportunity to actually just sleep the night away together. Slowly she pulled out of his neck. Her hold on him lightened and she looked up into his eyes. Her own brightened as she looked at him, though still there was some disappointment swirling in, knowing that she had to leave. And that, when she did see him tomorrow, she couldn't just go to him. Perhaps that made leaving harder, knowing that they had to hide themselves in public. It was for her protection. "Though you should bring me back before you actually fall asleep honey."
